Our HP laptop wouldn't fold up flat. Rather than buy a new one, we headed to CSI and they said they would take a look at it. Turns out they were able to order some parts and were able to fix it so it would fold again. It's looks like a brand new laptop as the keyboard had to be replaced too. I have a Chromebook that I love, and just stopped working one day. It just got of warranty so I took it apart to troubleshoot with no luck at all. CSI Technical Services have a Free Diagnostic service, so I thought I would give them a shot since I was not successful. My first time here because my computer was havked. I had an excellent experience with Jake. He is very friendly and helpful. He is very knowledgeable and was patient when I asked questions and showed me how to do some things with my computer security system. Would highly recommend this place. They also fixed my computer very quickly within a 24 hr peeiod and removed keylogger extensions and viruses that the hackerput on my laptop. My father's desktop wasn't powering up so I searched for computer repair places close to his home and found CSI Technical Services and I am glad I took a chance and gave them a try. From walking in and being greeted by Michelle to the tech the repair was done super quick and at a fair price given my father is on a limited budget. One of our friends found out we had the computer repaired and said his CD player on his computer wasn't working and was looking for a place to take it so we took his to this same place and second time they did not disappoint. Fix was done quickly and at a fair price. I am happy I gave this business a try. I help so many family members and friends with their computers now I know when it is a hardware issue, I can take the unit in for repair and know it will be fixed if possible, in a timely manner and at a fair price. Can't say enough about the service and price from CSI. This is my second time using them. My first problem was the recovery of a portable drive that my wife never backed up with critical work information. Seagate would recover my information at a cost of $500. even though the drive was still under warranty. CSI recovered the info in a day and charged for 1 hour labor. It saved me money and time, not to mention the frustration I had to endure from my wife. The hard drive on my desktop failed and CSI was back to the rescue. They transferred my information to a new SSD drive. I believe they misquoted me on the drive. Upon payment, I mentioned the price given and without question they adjusted the price. Indispensable service proving that computer stores must stay brick and mortar; were it not for these guys I would have had to jump through hoops and wait who knows how long to fix what turned out a minor issue; thankfully. These are the go-to people for me from now on. Saved my external hard drive whose controller board failed; I took it apart, brought it to them to verify integrity and they said it was fine so yes, controller board failed but the drive was FINE. Installed in another computer just like any other hard drive and now all is well. They even supplied me an IDE cable. Will definitely be supporting these guys for all my future computer builds.
