This company is a joke since its been taken over! All they do is lie to the patients about their costs and do not take any responsibility! They only want your money! Also, the blonde older manager is so rude and unpleasant! Not sure who she thinks she is for talking to patients the way she does! Will definitely not ever come back and let everyone know to stay out of this place! read more

I had a Jaw MRI on August 19th . I was promptly called in at the scheduled appointment time (you need to arrive earlier to fill out the forms) The ladies at the front desk are nice and professional. Having a few MRI's over the years and several total body scans dose not change the fact that this producer terrify me. I explained that to Robyn, the technician who was incredibly kind to me. Her warm smile, patience, guidelines and assurance (alone with the emergency pomp in my hand) resulted in me being the most calm ever during an MRI. It was as perfect as it can get. Thanks to Robin and her calm manner. Prior to the MRI, I asked several questions and she answered each with kindness. If I can suggest one thing is- recommend the patients to bring warm cloths since the waiting room is very cold- Thank you. read more

Made an appointment. Wasn't seen until 45 mins AFTER said appointment. No apology for the extra wait. X-rays took 10 mins. Only 10 mins after a 45 min wait, good thing I didn't have anything else to do today. read more

The check In process is ridiculous; the staff doesn't explain what will happen and has in the space of 30 minutes, asked 3 times for my doctor's orders which were sent electronically because its 2020. All 3 times the staff "found" the orders, only to ask again 10 minutes later. Will never return. read more

These people just don't appear to understand the concept of "ON TIME" yesterday was the 3rd or 4th time we have been there on time and walked out after they were an hour late. Do they think out time is not as important as theirs? or do they just not give a crap about the patient? Is it double booking or just poor management? something needs to change at WCRC and I am going to scream all the way to the top, not just of WCRC but to the licensing board, medicare and all in between. Do these people think we have to put up with such poor service? Well they better think again. The front desk staff were more than helpful and very courteous. I am thinking that the techs would have also been the same if we had gotten to see them. To have to wait an hour past you appointment time is totally unacceptable and doubly for a handicapped person who may have to use the restroom or have other conditions. THINK before you let your Doctor write an order to WCRC. read more

West Coast Radiology Santa Ana and Breast Center and Newport location on 1441 Avocado Ave, Suite 301 are the worst! Why isn't there a ZERO star option? SEEK ALTERNATIVE RADIOLOGY CENTERS if you want competent/professional administrators who don't turn insured, patients away! Turned away THREE TIMES!!!!!! Unacceptable! Terrible service - from uninformed operators, to intake admins at front desk! 6/15 10:30am IRVINE location turned away bc no walk in for test 6/15 9:30pm SANTA ANA location turned me away- front desk overrided physician order for screening mammogram. Said I need diagnostic mammogram 6/15-6/28 diff orders were reissued. Had a diagnostic mammogram scheduled for 6/21 then 6/29 at 2:10pm. Was called about another new order for bilateral 3D screening mammogram. Moved appt from Santa Ana 2:10pm to Newport 11:30am, so I can still use time off from work. Multiple calls and surveys to ensure proper processing. Incompetent operators not understanding orders or survey answers. 6/29 11:30am NEWPORT location. Despite empty waiting room at 11:30AM, the redhead at the front desk on duty Friday around lunchtime said I was too late and they normally WOULD but WOULD NOT squeeze me in today for a screening 3D mammogram. I explained this is the 3rd time I've been sent away from an exam and multiple orders have been botched in less than a month. She was not helpful. I had to ask for other solutions and was told to go to the ORANGE location, despite me explaining I had childcare challenges and limited time out of work. I sent corporate an email - no response. read more

I came in same day and kuddos to the front office staff named Erica, for ultrasound on the 2nd floor she managed to squeeze me in knowing the circumstances. She was not rude and greeted me friendly. I know how it can get especially when busy so Thank you! read more

The front desk ladies were the rudest most unprofessional individuals I have ever encountered. They should not be the first people to greet you at a medical facility. They completely ignored me as I was standing in line. There was no one in front of me. Then after waiting for several minutes I approached them to ask if I could check in, and one of them rudley said to me "go to the 2nd floor". She did not give me directions. So I had to roam around looking for the mammogram center. The reason I gave this place 1 stars is because the front desk on the 2nd floor were professional. And the xray tech Ardell who did the mammogram was very nice and made the whole ordeal so much better. However I would not recommend this place if you can avoid going there. It was absolutely the very worst customer service I have ever seen. read more

I'd give this place 5 stars if it wasn't for the front office staff! Scheduling was easy and I was able to get an appointment within 3 days. Facility has late hrs which was super convenient for me since I work. The facility was super clean and easy to find. Ultrasound tech was amazing! The receptionists however need some customer service training, I know it's late but at least smile and act friendly! You can tell they are tired and just want to go home! No smiles as I walk in, just a "what are you looking for?" I say ultrasound and she points me in the right direction. I go to the 2nd floor and half the lights are off. There's one light on in the waiting room and all the lights in the office/reception desk are out! There is nobody to be found at the desk, I wait about 5minutes and then tap the counter and yell hello. A girl comes from the back and mimics the same annoyed attitude of the 1st floor receptionist, no smiles, no "how can I help you"...just an annoyed "what's the name". The ultrasound tech was amazing! Smiled to welcome me, explained every step of the process, tried to make small talk & make a few jokes to make me comfortable. Super sweet! read more

They are open until 9pm almost every day! That's super convenient for people like me who work all day and have no other time to go to a laboratory to get tests done. Beautiful facility with a terrific staff. My family prefers to get tests done at this location versus all other laboratories. read more

WaveImaging - Radiologists Near Me - Santa Ana, California

This place is horrible! Not only did they not do there job right the first appointment I had my doctor was not happy with the ultrasound of my baby they called me to schedule an appointment which later turned out that they rescheduled my ultrasound appointment like 4x because according to them they didn't have senior ultrasound technicians. When I finally had an appointment today and was there on time they turned me back saying my doctor had called that he didn't want me to go there anymore like seriously couldn't they called me a day before so I could've not wasted my time for nothing! This place sucks! read more

Front desk nice professional and polite. I arrived early and they helped me to get in early. I had haida scan test, Scott was great with my Ivy and the entire long process, he stayed with me the whole time, made it as comfortable as possible. Very happy read more

Front Office staff for the main lobby is rude. They rudely told me I have to go upstairs for ultrasound check ins and so I give them 1 star. My rating is for the front office staff for ultrasound check in and for ultrasound tech and doctor who reviewed my scans with me. Front office staff was polite and the ultrasound tech was very polite and professional as well the doctor on duty. I had no issues other than the rudeness of the main lobby staff. read more

Can you believe I was there this past Monday (10-21) and was almost baked in an MRI machine with my bladder and kidney interstim device because no one read my doctors referral stating that I had said device and when I had called a month prior to make the appointment I gave the gentleman on the phone the serial number for this device and all the information but he never made any notes, never called the urology department like he said he would do, never followed back up with me... and when I got to the appointment no one knew I had said device implanted until I wrote it all over the paperwork. Turns out these incompetent under educated people were minutes away from putting me in a machine that was unsafe for the device I had. Can you believe though that they took the time to charge my 20% of a test that they couldn't perform, which they were saying I had to pay 365 upfront, hassling me, meanwhile they almost killed me and then sent me away having to call St. Jude's to make the appointment I need for this Thursday? Believe it, because this all happened on Monday 10-21-19 These people are thief's, liars, money hungry, under educated, don't communicate from department to department, they don't leave important notes in there system... this place should be shut down. I will be letting anyone I know to not use this facility. read more

I waited 2 hours for XRays and inquired and they said it would be another 30 minutes before I would be seen. That level of service is terrible and they act like they are doing us a favor for them existing. What about our time? 2.5 hours is not proper to ask any patient to sit and wait. Went for an MRI and radiographs. The MRI technician was really sweet and patient with me after I told her I was claustrophobic. I also didn't have to wait long read more

Worst customer service, appointments only. To setup appointment they were rude about it.

I have been here for an MRI under sedation on three different occasions. Each time the procedure went well and I was treated with the utmost care and respect. The nurses are very considerate and flexible and really do want to make the experience as pleasant as they can for someone with severe claustrophobia. They review your previous records and discuss it with you in advance and make sure you are truly informed before the procedure. That doesn't happen at a lot of places. read more

Making the appointment was easy. When I arrived, they asked for the 'Doctor's Order.' Doctor's Order??? I didn't have one but it would have helped if they had mentioned that I needed it when they mentioned that I needed my picture ID and insurance card when I made the appointment. So I called my doctor's office and asked them to fax the 'Doctor's Order' ASAP so I can be seen. Within 10 minutes I get a call back from my doctor's office letting me know they faxed it and if there is a problem to let them know. So I ask the receptionist if she received my fax. She does not know so she calls 'upstairs' to see if they did. 10 minutes later, she says they did and tells me they'll see me shortly. Everything good, right? WRONG. The lobby is full and I know it's busy so I'm patient and wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. 55 minutes later I approach the relief receptionist and ask about the delay since I scheduled AN APPOINTMENT. She tells me that the other receptionist left for lunch so she's going to find out what happened and tells me to wait. So I wait. And wait. And wait. And wait. 15 minutes later, I approach the receptionist and ask about the delay. She tells me that they don't have a Doctor's Order for me. WTF??? Seriously? So I tell her that I personally called my doctor and had it faxed an HOUR and TWENTY MINUTES earlier. At this point, I'm about ready to leave but I had waited so long (with an appointment) so I decide to keep waiting. The receptionist walks upstairs and grabs the 'doctor's order' that was left by the clerk on a counter and that is why I was not promptly seen. Can you believe that? I don't like to complain about petty things but in this case I think I should. This happened over a month ago and I've been busy with work and haven't had any more time to waste with them. Should I even bother calling to complain? read more

I came in to pick up a CD ROM of some tests I had had done last year. I came here straight from my doctor's office as I need to get X-rays done (4). They could not accommodate me as a walk in because I need 4 so I had to schedule an appointment. Worst experience ever . I should have had my MRI done long time ago but they kept rescheduling my appointment due to my insurance which is understandable . I worked in the medical field for 20 years and I know that when you need an authorization from the insurance you don't promise or schedule anything without having the authorization first . My appointment was changed 4 times due to the office staff not being on top of their game and I had to call my insurance to follow up on the authorization and call the office to let them know it was approved . The staff was also informed of me being claustrophobic and they still scheduled me on the wrong machine and of course they had to reschedule me again . It's not easy for me to change my schedule due to their mistakes . I will never come back to this place again . read more

After injuring my wrist I got my x ray but wasn't able to actually see the x ray! They said they'd send the report to my doctor (not the x ray, but just the report) but my doctor's office never received it. I finally got in to see my doc and he informs me their radiologist doesn't know how to read an x ray because it wasn't my lunate bone but the pisiform bone that was broken. I came here this past Saturday for an MRI. I had never had an MRI before and I was a bit nervous. The girls at the front desk were very nice and Rebecca informed me that they were slightly delayed for the open MRI, I was given the option to wait or just try the other MRI machine and see if I would be okay since I am claustrophobic, her tip was keep your eyes shut and do not open them. Jen was my MRI Tech, she talked me through every step, I shut my eyes and I got through it with no problem. Also Jen's IV skills are top notch! I didn't even feel the needle! Advice for any MRI newbies out there, keep your eyes shut and go to a happy place, it's not as bad as you think. If I could give zero stars I would! First, scheduling was a nightmare. I was referred to this imaging center by my OB for a very standard prenatal procedure called an NT Ultrasound, they had no idea what I was talking about... After being transferred 3 times and holding for 30-40 minutes, it was finally scheduled. They claimed I owed a co-pay and deductible, which was wrong and I had to contact my health insurance company to clear that up with them. Turns out that the "deductible" they claimed I owed was actually the amount that HealthNet covered. Now months later they are still trying to collect a bogus amount from me which HealthNet keeps telling me I DO NOT owe. Every time HealthNet contacts them on my behalf to clear this ridiculous invoice, they claim to have never received an EOB and ask for a faxed copy. If your OB wants to send you here, ask them to refer you elsewhere. These people are scammers! read more

Horrible service, incompetent front desk staff. I had the same problem Rene C. had, they did not tell me when i scheduled the appt. for my 3 yr old daughter that we needed a Dr's order. Of course it was all my fault and they NEVER make mistakes. That's exactly how i was treated and they would not even try to accommodate us since their minds were made up that it was impossible for one of their staff to make a mistake. I even asked if we could wait and be seen after all the other patients since it was a far drive and it took 2 weeks to get the appt. Nope they seemed happy to tell me NO. I also checked with her Dr's office that referred us if they did fax the order: Yes indeed they did right along with the authorization. Some idiot probably misplaced it or never put in our file and of course blamed the patient to cover their own butt. I was so pissed i even wrote an email to the director but i guess he can't be bothered to reply that was over a week ago. This place sucks!! Unfortunately we have to come back since it's the only place the insurance covers but if you can, go somewhere else! read more

Scheduling appointment is a hassle especially when it requires authorization. They will ask you tons of questions, then transfer you to another department. There they will request more paperwork from your doctor because they have nothing in their file. You will have to go back and forth between your doctor office and their scheduling office several times because they keep saying they have not received anything. read more
