I went there with instructions regarding a procedure which had certain conditions that go with it. These conditions came with time restrictions as you weren't allowed to go to the restroom beforehand. When I got there there were a couple of people ahead of me. Because of the time it took to see me, I wasn't able to follow the directions. When I got into the exam room to do the tests, the lab technicians told me that the front office had given me the wrong directions so I was stressed out for no reason. They made a mistake with the patient before me and that almost made her appointment void as well. This office is the most inefficient medical office I have ever been to. It seems like poor management is an issue across all their locations. While the tech who assisted me was great, the front desk staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional. I came in to pick up a CD of a CT scan I had done a few months ago to send to a specialist. The receptionist took my ID and curtly told me to sit down. I tried to explain that I needed to add a doctor to the plan of care so they could also receive the results, but she cut me off mid-sentence and insisted I sit down without listening. After waiting for a while, while the front desk staff were chatting and making copies, I returned to the counter to ask about the progress of my CD. At first, none of the staff even acknowledged me, despite me standing in line right in front of them. Eventually, another staff member asked if I needed help, but before I could respond, the original receptionist yelled across the room that she was handling it and told me to keep waiting. Would it really be so hard to give patients a simple update so we don't feel ignored? When I finally got to speak to her again, I repeated my request to add another doctor to the list for the results, which I had been trying to explain from the start. She bluntly told me it wasn't possible, they only send results to the requesting physician, and if I wanted my specialist to have them, I'd need to manually bring my physical copy to them. Yet when I saw my specialist, they said I needed to request the results be sent to them. This whole process delayed my care because I kept having to go back and forth. read more

This place is absurd. I called to schedule an MRI and CT scan for my daughter (who I explained multiple times is 5 months old), and asked if she needs to be fasting since she'll need to be sedated. They said no fasting protocols are needed. I called the day before the appointment to confirm that she does not need to be fasting, they said no again. When I go into the office, they take my copay and call my daughter up to be seen, and we're told they don't take patients under 10 years old for MRIs and CTs. Lack of attention and carelessness on their part. Wasted my entire day commuting for nothing. They took my copay and didn't bother refunding that either until I asked about it as well. Super unprofessional. Go to some place that cares. read more

I have been to this location multiple times this year for ultrasounds and x-rays and have always had an excellent experience. The receptionists are very professional, and I have never waited more than five minutes to be seen. The technicians have always made me feel incredibly comfortable and are very professional. In particular Anthony, who did a series of x-rays on my lower back and hip, was excellent. He identified a secret pocket with zipper on the inside lining of my clothing that would have screwed up all the images. I have been wearing these work pants for years and had no idea, lo and behold, there is indeed a secret pocket with a metal zipper. He was very professional and made me feel very comfortable at all times. read more

The 2nd floor facility is for x-ray & ultrasound. The ground floor level is for MRI. I happened to have a very patient & nice technician from morocco. Since I have to be in a weird position for about 25 mins without moving, she made sure i was totally comfortable before proceeding. That made a very big difference for someone who was already nervous and dislike needles to start with. And during the process she kept checking to make sure I am doing alright! Unfavorable Review for Orange Wave Imaging MRI experience. I had an MRI performed on July 31, and for a number of reasons , the final results are still not posted on the Radnet portal. Details: The technician had trouble inserting the port for the dye in the right arm due to bruising from lab tests at Quest earlier in the week, so moved to the left arm (we didn't start with that one because that side is shorter on lymph nodes after a 2019 surgery that included removing--so more vulnerable to infections on that side), when in the scanner the tech tried for two or three minutes to reposition the port for the dye. I can only guess it wasn't flowing. 12 days after scan I was contacted and asked to retake the scan and told that the more experienced tech (who had overseen the 7/31 scan) would do the scan this time rather than the unexperienced tech. The scan was re-done on September 4th at which time, I was told not to move or lift my head (because these admonitions had not been given the first time, this suggested to me that I should consider myself responsible for the first scan's failure. The only time I had moved that time was when the technician tried to adjust the dye portal, otherwise I had not moved, but noticed the second time that the machine vibrates. I have had MRI's elsewhere and had not experienced the vibration before. I also happened to glimpse upon standing, that it's Naugahyde surface cover is dry and cracked--might they need a new machine?). 4 days after the 9/4 scan, I received a text message that results of my most recent scan were ready to view. But no. The Radnet portal had a report and summary report for the scan dated July 31 (the one I was told had not come out) declaring I am cancer free. The purpose of this scan wasn't to diagnose cancer; This MRI was a routine check 5 years after a surgery intended to ascertain that an implant was intact. So, they'd posted the scan I'd been told was unsuccessful, and they'd not retained the information I'd provided at scheduling time explaining the reason for the MRI and access to the portal that had the previous MRI with which to compare. I contacted Gerard, who had been the one to ask me to reschedule, and he said he would put "urgent" on my recent scan so it would be posted in a few days. This did not happen. It is now October 6th and the Sept 4 scan has still not posted. Are they just that busy, or are they terribly inept and confused? And why can't they just contact me and tell me how long it will take to post the results of the second scan, if it's the former. It appears that my insurance has already paid, so Wave Imaging of Orange (AKA Westcoast Radiology, Orange (according to the Reference Solutions database), and Beverly Radiology (according to my insurance payment))) are content, and it would seem it doesn't matter to them, that I am not as I have left Gerard and the Medical Records department each messages every couple of weeks on answer machines requesting information about the efficacy of the current post and when the correct scan will be posted, and received no response from either. I check the Radnet portal every other weekday hoping for an update, but nothing has appeared. If they are guilty of nothing else, they are at least guilty of an absence of communication. read more

I had to redo a CT Scan and the location available was Orange! When I got there was welcomed- little paperwork then waited.. Sabrina called my name and away we went. She was aware that the last test with contrast made me throw up.. she is so sweet- made me feel very comfortable,professional and has a way to put you at ease. Thank you so much Sabrina!! read more

sheduling is a sh*t show. There scheduling department is not based in the US and will make appointments or double book and not tell the office. The manger line goes straight to voicemail. If you choose to till go here you better be prepared for them to not have your appointment on the schedule. read more

I am in the waiting room waiting for a dexa bone density scan. As always, the room is hot, but today it is not crowded because their X-ray tech is not here. People who show up for x-rays are told to go somewhere else, or come back another day. The guy in line in front of me had been sent here by their Anaheim location, I guess because they didn't have an available x-ray tech, AND they didn't know that the Orange didn't have one either. The man said he'd called this office to confirm that he should come here, but no one picked up the phone. The gentleman was much more patient than I would have been. Of course, none of this is the fault of the people who actually work there. They were extremely pleasant and patient, in spite of what I'm sure is shitty pay and working conditions. Staff at Radnet facilities are always pleasant and patient, in my experience, so my 1-star is really for Radnet, not it's employees. The last time I was here if come in for a mammogram. My appointment was downstairs at Breastlink. Breastlink'waiting room is a totally different experience. It is spacious and filled with comfortable chairs and couches. It has nice art, coffee, and a gift shop. (or it did, I think it's been closed due to Covid) they were busy, though and they sent me up to the second floor office where I am today for the mammogram. It was hot and crowded. All the seats designed to accommodate fat patients were taken by people who were not fat, along with their purses and other possessions. I chose to stand. I complained to the mammogram tech about those conditions and she told me that in the future, I could request to have my mammogram downstairs and stay in that waiting room. I was pleased to learn that. So Yelp wants me to provide feedback for the business, but we know that for-profit healthcare does not give a shit. The CEO of Radnet, (which acquired most of the imaging centers in this area a few years ago) Howard G. Berger M.D. makes, at a minimum, $2,835,761 yearly, and that's what matters. read more

The staff for my upper GI series was very kind and they even took me early. The offices are very clean. However, the signage to find their office is AWFUL! Please place a large sign at the back of the building where patients come in from the parking lot and not an arrow on the glass door. We need to be able to figure out where we are supposed to go. My Doctors are asking me for the information and somehow it is up to me, always, to try and navigate, because they do not send the reports to the primary or specialty Docs, unless I beg and plead nicely to a front desk person with an attitude, eye roll, and acting like I should be a whiz on the portal. Just difficult all the way around. The practitioners do care, and do know what they're doing. There's got to be a better way for the patients, who might not feel good, and might not have the energy to chase down reports, or try a portal with a code. What if you lost the paper with the code ? Call them ? Not really. Healthcare help isn't by telephone, much, anymore. Just frustrating. read more

Hospitality doesn't exists. My mom had a procedure done and I personally gave the receptionist my number as I took my moms belongings. They do not have any cubbies or shelf's to place personal items. My mom asked to use the phone serval times and it didn't occur for Ashley the receptionist to give her my number. I'm surprised being that I had given instructions to the receptionist for my mom who's impaired. I left my mom thinking she was in good care and she wasn't. Worst wave imaging center I've been to. The negligence and indifference of this place is saddening to the health care community. read more

I am so sorry that there are so many bad reviews for this place. I have been to so many other imaging locations and was so impressed with this one. My 91 year old mother was very stressed about getting a PET scan. She has never had one before. PET Technician, Garrett, was incredibly awesome with calming my mom down and comforting her throughout the entire process. This will be my go to place for all of our imaging from this point on. Thank you Garrett! Also, I'm so sorry that I did not get the name of the person at the front desk who helped me. She was so patient and kind with such a warm smile everytime I went up with a question. What a place. Clearly I'm impressed! If I could give more than 5 stars I certainly would! read more

Been here 3 times and have had to reschedule or leave from them being incompetent to keep my appointment! They never have an X-ray tech staffed all 3 times I have shown up for one and the ultrasound tech department suck at being on time the 3 times I've went in for one as well ! I will emphasize once again as another patient did, military command style. "Do you know why you're here? Do you know why you need that? It'll be sent to the person who ordered this." There was no "Hello how are you?" Or "Have a good day." She opened the door and expected me to be on my way out. They don't know how to build rapport with clients, and instead the young girl who took my MRI was rude, harsh during procedure - did not ask if I was okay or if she was hurting me, and treated me like I was just a tool to complete a job. Where are the social skills? Also don't bother scheduling an X-ray, the person conducting those calls off whenever they want to. No respect for your time. read more

I had to settle for an appointment for yesterday Feb 21, 2023 at 7:10pm; otherwise, I had to wait even longer if I wanted it an appointment during daylight hours. We are speaking at least a month or more for a decent time slot. My appointment was at 7:10pm. I was to arrive at 6:50pm. I was early and arrived early at 6:40pm. The parking lot was dark. Only one other vehicle parked nearby. It had started raining softly. I look around to make sure I was alone and with my disability, I walk as quickly as I could inside the building. The whole reason for the MRIs (I am scheduled to have 2 done) is because I am in pain and I am having trouble walking. I am a senior citizen. The receptionist tells me the technician is on their way. I asked why was I asked to come in at 6:50pm if there's no technician? She only apologized to me. I reminded her my appointment is at 7:10pm. She replied that if there was no technician by 7:10pm, she would be calling her manager. At 7:10pm she contacted her manager who tells her she will call to find out where the technician is and what ETA was as well. Come to find out the technician was stuck in traffic (which I know is BS). ETA was 20 mins. I tell receptionist I am not waiting and I rescheduled. I told receptionist I did not appreciate the email, the text message & 2 phone calls I received to make sure I was keeping my appointment to find no technician. I received one phone call in the morning of my appointment & the 2nd call an hour before my appointment. They were so freaking worried about me showing up to my appointment & no one was making sure the technician made it to work on time or have a backup technician. Why am I asked to come in early when no technician is in the building? I have to drive home alone in the rain to my dark parking lot to walk myself to my apartment. I called and made a formal complaint with UHC. I also called the office and left a voicemail for the manager of the facility to return my call. We will see if she calls me. My next complaint will be with the medical group themselves who told me I had to use them for my MRIs. Do I recommend this facility? I don't know. So far this was a very unpleasant experience for me. I don't know what the other lady who came in after me did. Did she stay and wait? Did she reschedule? Update it is Feb 28 & manager never returned my call. She can't say she didn't get the message because I left her a voicemail. It is ok because I know she will hear my complaint through my insurance and my medical group. read more

I went for an open MRI procedure and waited 6 weeks for an open MRI appointment to open up- They did a closed MRI instead and didn't realize their mistake until I was checking out. I am still getting invoices with different amounts each time. I contacted my insurance carrier and they told me their billing is wrong. Their billing department is absolutely a mess and they are now actually getting into fraudulent billing practices- It's very shameful of them read more

Although I've been to this location a couple of times prior to this recent visit, the visits were not as disastrous as this latest one. The technician, whose name was Charlie, treated me as if I was a trash bag that had just fallen from the sky. He never used phrases such as 'Thank You', 'Please', 'Take Your Time' and so on. Instead they were dictatorial military style commands that were extremely insulting. Although I had advised him of my existing body pains and the difficulty in moving too fast on the table, it had simply fallen onto deaf ears. When the exams were complete this person wouldn't even bother to give me anything to clean my mouth which was completely covered in white due to the solution I was given to drink during the exam. Fortunately, when I was exiting the receptionist saw it and handed over some tissue paper. This Charlie dude never returned the mask he took from me when I entered the exam room either. How people like him are able to maintain positions in such public service environments is beyond me. They should get the hell out and make the position available to a more deserving human being. read more

I had a great experience at this location. The front end office staff was very polite and greeted me immediately. The young woman that checked me in was very professional and kind. She made me feel welcomed, and set the tone for my visit. I sat down for a minute or two before I was called back for my imaging. The technician that performed my imaging was very empathic and caring. She made me feel really comfortable. My appointment didn't take long at all. I came as a walk-in yesterday and was told they are short handed no exray technician at 12 pm would be 2pm. They refuse to give an appointment. Today I called the number which a woman working here gave me at 1 pm and no one answering. So I called at different location as I want to know if a exray technician is there today. I was told yes. I came at 1:30pm(expected 2 pm the tech would be here what I was told yesterday, he was here earlier. Now, I care for my 95 yr mother they told me the wait is 1 1/2 hrs minimum. Not a good place if they haven't enough people working! Also the number she gave to me nobody answering at 1:05 pm you must be kidding. If there were 0 stars I would have left that. Trying to schedule an X-ray with them is a nightmare. Have to do online, no problem. Online system was not working for days. Call a location tell them that I have tried to make an appt for days on line and it is not working. Girl says "oh X-rays have to be made online". Tried explaining it and got "but xrays have to be made online". Asked if there were other options the company provides if the online system is not cooperating. No. I tried their help desk...was even worse. I tried other locations...got transferred in a circle. Never got and answer. Used another vendor here on yelp with a much better rating. read more

After wave imaging canceled my first apt for no technician the day before i was scheduled. The next available apt I was 3 weeks later. I had to leave work 3 hours early to make the apt. I arrived 20 min early checked in on line, per my email & got stuck waiting over 40 min. Literally everyone went in before me include the lady who came 20 min after me for the same procedure. Probably one of the worst experiences of my life and I feel so sorry for my grandma and anybody else that has to come here. My grandma needs X-rays for her foot and we got sent to come here. Only two of the workers were actually assisting patients and you could tell they were backed up because there were many people waiting. One of the workers was an older lady who I overheard her giving an attitude to other patients who needed assistance and not to mention those patients stood there almost forever waiting to be helped and another worker sitting in the back of the others probably could of helped but instead it was only the two younger workers up front trying to get patients through. We ended up waiting at least hour even with an appointment which is ridiculous. We finally make it in and the technicians name was Paul I believe and guess what even more waiting. I don't understand how slow functioning this place could be. If anything with the time we spent here my grandmas foot could of finished healing. read more

The Staff is OK friendly, the Techs were fine, I had very bad Knee issue, the lady works late shift, I felt I had to cheer her up and I was the one in pain with bad Knee. The worst part is when I called got bounce around, left on hold, and all I wanted is my receipt e-mailed to me, but they will not do that, you need to pick it up. I am not even suppose to drive, customer service, is customer disservice . Wasted a 1/2 hour of my Life, jut for a receipt I never got :( read more

Went in for our ultra sound, happy times right? I had a baby in 2020 so I get the Covid craziness and restrictions that they placed on us back then. CA still has a dumb mask requirement for medical facilities. What about people with a genuine medical condition? Well don't even try. I basically was reprimanded by the lead receptionist and humiliated. I refused, I cannot breathe, get anxiety and most likely will loose oxygen while wearing one now. She told me I couldn't go forward with the exam and I needed to leave. Their policy is mask or nothing. I said you will have to tell my midwife why you are refusing my ultra sound. She walked away and called me to the back. Isolated me in a hallway and made me wear a face shield. I observed two nurses with masks pulled down below the chin. What about them? Do they have to be isolated or leave? No they are fine. But PAYING customers are treated like they have leprosy if they aren't wearing a mask, aren't sick, etc. Tech was nice, but silent. No talking whatsoever but had music playing from her phone. Took some profile images but also some weird ones and then compared our baby to something spooky because it will be Halloween soon (skull image). Unprofessional, discrimination against a pregnant person and horrible experience. Told the head nurse she was discriminating and she said no I'm not. And I said read your policy on the website, it says you don't discriminate against anyone regardless of who they are or what they believe, look like, or medical condition. Def. Do not recommend. Previously with baby #3 in 2020, at a different Irvine imaging place we went to the ultra sound room with masks, tech told us no need, pull the masks down. He was friendly, asked about our other kids and joked that he would see us in 2022. How I wish that was the case. Lastly my insurance barely covered this so that also was bs. Never again. read more
