Very difficult company to deal with. Software Alarm.com which they use is not intuitive and we had…read moreproblems the first five months. When we had to reset the camera, I had to get up on the ladder myself and reset it and then the audio wasn't working, which was a software problem in the first five months and they charged me a trip charge. I would think there is some sort of # Warranty the first year of service. The claim that my son ripped apart the system is false. He inadvertently knocked off one of the internet extenders in the first month of service. Also, I was insistent on learning how to work the software system which they became very impatient with and because of that they consider me high maintenance. I would think paying $900 for the system and installation and then $85 a quarter for service would and entail some training, however, they were very impatient. Upon further investigation, I could've had the same system for only $400 including installation and only a five dollar a month fee for surveillance service which provides the same as Alarm.com. In a nutshell I feel I was over sold on a system. I was very happy to be relieved of the 36 month contract that I signed with them.

Recognizing and appreciating the home's age and historical significance, he proceeded to provide recommendations that would avoid or minimize drilling into the concrete walls and hard wood floors as well as keep the wiring out of sight. The Simply Wired team was amazing! They first focused on troubleshooting the phone landline and ports and found various fixes that needed to be made including up on the roof at the entry point of the phone service line. Once all the phones were working, his team proceeded to crawl into spaces in the basement and attic to route wiring throughout the home, which was a difficult and dirty task on a hot day. They successfully installed a router and multiple access points and drops and made adjusts as needed based on signal strength and reliability. The Simply Wired team was professional, responsive, thorough, and clean throughout the entire job. We have worked with other contractors over the years in various fields where the service and quality were lacking, but working with Brian and Ramon was an absolute delight, and I highly recommend Simply Wired.

It constantly malfunctions, giving false alerts and telling me doors are open when they're not. Total failure.
