The email said I cancelled the appointment, but he understood and I could set up a new appointment. I did Not cancel the appointment. I called his cell number he had given me at 8 am. It has been almost 2 hours and no response. This is the second cancellation. The first one I found out about after arriving to the appointment! This is unacceptable. I…read morehave been a patron for over 20 years, but am transitioning to another bank due to the decline in services within this branch as well as at the corporate level. The fees are significant and unfair, and the lack of staff knowlege has resulted in account errors that have been costly (depending on who you ask you will likely get a different answer). Should you make a mistake on your register (for example forget to deduct a random autopay from your balance) you will be charged $35 per item (even if the withdrawal is for less than $1) in the order they came in. Within a day this mistake will easily and unfairly cost you over $200 and common sense cannot be negotiated, and they won't consider reversing the fees no matter how silly they seem. So, if you are at any risk of making a simple mistake on your register for less than a cup of coffee, I recommend you bank elsewhere. Its unfortunate, because switching banks after 20 years is a pain but makes sense for me...because chances are I will at some point forget to add that cup of coffee to my register and I will need some understanding and grace from the person I am speaking with at my bank so that it doesn't become a $200 mistake. This is not that bank. Original review in 2018: My experience with this branch has been so good. A few months ago, I had a restaurant incorrectly charged me over $1000 on my bill (I paid with my credi/debit card). I didn't realize it until the next day when I looked at my bank account online. Aleta was so helpful in getting it all sorted out, and truly went above and beyond. Since then, I have opened a new checking account there and she as well as the other employees at this branch were so helpful. Next I will be opening a savings account there. I banked privately with Chase for about 7 years before opening a business account with them. After having the account for less than a year the child bank manager, I believe her name was "April" took care of one of my transactions. She was obviously seething about me bringing in cash. She flat out told me "I THINK WE SHOULD CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT" because she was unhappy about my cash deposits. I was both amazed and dumbfounded. I called her supervisor, no response. I emailed him, no response. Shortly thereafter I did close my account there. I now happily steer all national affiliates in the same business a mile away from using Chase Bank.

I really like this branch and its is not very far from work and not very out of the way to get to…read moreunlike the one around my neighborhood. I really only have to physically walk in to my bank about twice a year, the location varies on where I'm at in the city. I have noticed that banks are generally empty ghost towns in this day and age but this branch is never busy and I can get in and out quickly. The tellers are always friendly but chase is still starting to suck because they don't have a change counter for the customers any more so if your used to bringing in your change when the bowl is full, not any more because they only accept rolled change. I'm not about to count and roll $300 worth of change I have each year to deposit, are you fu*%ing kidding. There is a machine that can do all that so why would you take away my access to one. I'm going to have to get another bank that still offers a change counter for its customers. I see grocery stores have change counters all over the place but a bank who's sole business is money doesn't offer one is just intentionally pissing off there customers.

Very simple. i made a payment a few weeks ago for the full balance of my account. It was for a big amount and it was drawn from my bank. I made a similar large payment from the same account months ago without any problems. This time, the bank put a block on my card WITHOUT EVEN TELLING ME and the card stopped working without notice, leaving me without my primary form of payment. This means that auto payments on my account were being rejected, damaging my reputation with my creditors. They even kept the BLOCK on my card AFTER THEY RECEIVED MY PAYMENT. When I called the Bank, the representative told me that she couldn't do anything about this because of their "system." A supervisor finally lifted the hold, but the card still did not work. When I called back, I was frustrated and direct. I did not use bad language and I was not rude. She made it personal, and started lecturing me and hung up. A person like this has no business in customer service, especially if they cannot harness their own obvious insecurities. She should be fired. I have had nothing but problems with this institution. The same thing will happen to you.

Not good service. People are awful to work with who work there. They are short and snippy. They do…read morenot help or explain things. I seem to be bothering them every time I ask a question. They are rude and condescending. When I got fraud on my card, they said "we can try to help" - really?! The bank itself does not provide notice of shut downs. Only reason I am still with them is that I have banked there since I was 16 but I am getting closer to switching banks every time I have to go inside and interact with them. And, the bmo 24 hour phone service is a joke.
