I have had a lot of paperwork lately due to a few complicated matters. I needed something notarized in a hurry and was assisted right away. Kelly was informative, helpful and friendly. She treated me like a person, not just a customer. We were able to get through the paperwork pretty quick and then I was on my way. She was the epitome of perfect customer service! I really only have to physically walk in to my bank about twice a year, the location varies on where I'm at in the city. I have noticed that banks are generally empty ghost towns in this day and age but this branch is never busy and I can get in and out quickly. The tellers are always friendly but chase is still starting to suck because they don't have a change counter for the customers any more so if your used to bringing in your change when the bowl is full, not any more because they only accept rolled change. I'm not about to count and roll $300 worth of change I have each year to deposit, are you fu*%ing kidding. There is a machine that can do all that so why would you take away my access to one. I'm going to have to get another bank that still offers a change counter for its customers. I see grocery stores have change counters all over the place but a bank who's sole business is money doesn't offer one is just intentionally pissing off there customers.

I…read morehave been a patron for over 20 years, but am transitioning to another bank due to the decline in services within this branch as well as at the corporate level. The fees are significant and unfair, and the lack of staff knowlege has resulted in account errors that have been costly (depending on who you ask you will likely get a different answer). Should you make a mistake on your register (for example forget to deduct a random autopay from your balance) you will be charged $35 per item (even if the withdrawal is for less than $1) in the order they came in. Within a day this mistake will easily and unfairly cost you over $200 and common sense cannot be negotiated, and they won't consider reversing the fees no matter how silly they seem. So, if you are at any risk of making a simple mistake on your register for less than a cup of coffee, I recommend you bank elsewhere. Its unfortunate, because switching banks after 20 years is a pain but makes sense for me...because chances are I will at some point forget to add that cup of coffee to my register and I will need some understanding and grace from the person I am speaking with at my bank so that it doesn't become a $200 mistake. This is not that bank. Original review in 2018: My experience with this branch has been so good. A few months ago, I had a restaurant incorrectly charged me over $1000 on my bill (I paid with my credi/debit card). I didn't realize it until the next day when I looked at my bank account online. Aleta was so helpful in getting it all sorted out, and truly went above and beyond. Since then, I have opened a new checking account there and she as well as the other employees at this branch were so helpful. Next I will be opening a savings account there. Very appreciative of all of their help and I would definitely recommend this branch.

He provided no guidance or recommendation, just told me that they were the busiest location (with three people inside) and there is nothing he can do. His insensitivity caused emotional turmoil at an already emotional time. As a member of 25+ years, I expected more from UW Credit Union and do not recommend this location at all.

My mom has power of attorney for her father and was withdrawing money from his account. During the process, she was asked what she planned to do with the money she was taking out. (the month of august he has 4 of his grandchildren's bdays and he was always a gift giver, not to mention he loves to still hold onto cash to buy things but thats none of their business) I understand a bank verifying someone's identity, confirming that a power of attorney is valid, and taking precautions to protect an account. I actually appreciate those safeguards. But asking what someone personally plans to do with money they are legally authorized to withdraw felt unnecessarily invasive to me. not to mention every time she has gone in for anything to do with his account she has had to deal with the same female bank teller who just seems to be a jerk. i thought it was just my mother who had issues with this person but turns out when i was telling my friends about what happened they too have had similar situations happen to the point they feel once they find a better bank they will be closing accounts with them cause they dont like the invasion of privacy and her attitude There is a difference between protecting a customer's account and making someone feel like they need to explain or justify what they're going to do with their own family's money. The whole interaction left a bad taste in my mouth and changed the way I feel about this bank.
