    My experience with Don's was outstanding from purchase to delivery. Our clothes washer konked out…read moreafter more than a decade of faithful service. Logically my wife wanted the same make and model- GE Profile. I found it at Best Buy online at a good price. I had to wait 3 weeks for delivery. Two days before the delivery date Best Buy notified me that I would have to wait 3 more weeks and MAYBE it would be in stock by then. I canceled that order and spoke with Chantel at Don's. I was told they just got delivery of GE Profiles, and that she could have one delivered in 2 days. Nice! Because the dirty clothes was piling up. On delivery day, two young men arrived ahead of schedule. They unboxed, installed and were gone all in 20 minutes. As for my experience with Don's, everything was perfect. Oh, and I was given a veteran's discount. Forget the big chains. Go local.

    I would give them 0 stars if possible, but it is not. What should have been a straightforward…read moreappliance delivery turned into a drawn-out and frustrating experience. We initially placed our order with a confirmed delivery date of April 2. However, when we called a week in advance to confirm, we were told that the refrigerator and cooktop would not be delivered as scheduled. Only after I followed up was the refrigerator added back to the April 2 delivery. On that date, several items did arrive--but the dishwasher showed up damaged, with a crushed rear corner. While we agreed to a replacement, there was no proactive communication about its status. The replacement didn't arrive until April 9, and the cooktop--originally scheduled for April 2--was delayed until April 16, a full two weeks late. Because of this delay, we were forced to postpone our countertop contractors, creating additional disruption to our project timeline. In total, we had to rearrange our schedules three separate times just to accommodate deliveries. The most frustrating issue, however, was with the double oven. Our cabinets were built according to the dimensions provided in your specification packet, yet the oven did not fit. When we raised this concern, instead of working toward a solution, your team chose to argue the measurements. Ultimately, we were forced to pay out of pocket to have our cabinetry modified--something that should not have been necessary and was never offered to be remedied by your company. Between the missed delivery commitments, damaged product, lack of communication, and refusal to take accountability, this experience fell well below expectations.
