They are just contractors so they hired other companies to come out here and take care of each of those components. they were too remove the current calcium line first from the rock outline (from my understanding that can bead blasted or another assortment of ways) and then re-stain and seal. But they did not do that they just re-stained it so where the calcium line was before the paint is not sticking. It apparently has a two-year warranty but I have called several times trying to get in touch with somebody and on one occasion I got Letty to answer the phone and she advised me that the company they used for the Boulder stain only speak Spanish so she would call and talk to them for me. But I have not heard back I have been following up for over a year with this issue. There's absolutely no customer service they will not call you back or email you back if there's a problem. So your warranty is basically null & void because you cannot get in contact with anybody. We had them servicing our pool once a week but literally the guy they would send would come out check the chemicals empty the skimmer baskets and occasionally vacuum the bottom of the pool. But he never brushed or kept up with that calcium ring where the waterline is so that ring has just grown out of control again. And I had to remind him when it was time to clean the filters because they had not clean the filters either. So we canceled our weekly service because we just felt $170 was not worth the lack of care for our pool.

He's been flexible with our timing, had a very well thought out pool and construction design (our house is mostly geometrical so we scratched the initial design I brought to him and went with his geometrical design as well as went with his suggestion to have a retaining wall built so that the structural integrity of our pool is not compromised). When you meet Chris you'll notice that he is very knowledgeable about what it takes to build a quality pool. There are many small things that Chris has pointed out that I'm sure any other pool builders would have missed (like pouring the gunite first entrance step one inch lower to compensate for coping, pouring the second step wider so that the overlapping coping doesn't shorten its width and makes it shorter than the other steps etc). We are very happy of our current build (still in the plumbing phase) - I will update this review with pictures of the finished project once it's done! Have already started recommending him to family members who will be building a pool soon and recommend you give Chris a shot too.

That might have been the end of the review but they have proven to be an outstanding provider. Eric (one of the proprietors), is very responsive and overall, just a great guy. Recently, I noticed a small leak in our Rollo injector that was squirting onto the grass. The leak was pure chorine and there was a significant dead patch of grass. I sent Eric a text (I believe it was on a weekend) to which he immediately responded, he came out the very next day which was also on the weekend. He found the leak and sent one of his guys out to fix it. Now that would be amazing in and of itself but there's more. He sent a man out from a landscape company to dig out the contaminated soil and re-sod the area where the dead grass was. This level of customer service blows me away. Blue Cube is the real deal, there was no begging and cajoling to do the right thing. They just did it and it was their idea. As for the price, I am amazed they can be so competitive. They are careful about what they take on because they want to be able to provide the best customer service so they have chosen grow their their business responsibly, while some pool services just take on as many pools as they get calls for, Blue Cube limits the clientele to a number that they can manage. I waited to do this review because I wanted to be sure they were the real deal. We are coming up on one year and I am very pleased. If you need pool service, get your name on their waiting list and say your prayers. If you are lucky, you will be pleasantly surprised.

As a first time pool owner I occasionally find my pool isn't behaving according to my understanding of the rules. Maybe that's why I switched my major from Chem E to Mech E in '78? 2 Stars only because at one point, this was a well run store with helpful employees. I just…read morefinished my last visit to this store. Here is why: For about 3 years I've come here for my pool. Every visit, I buy everything they say I need. Each visit usually comes to $50 to $150 and I never complain or question them. In that time I've also made larger purchases around $1000 for additional equipment like a new Polaris, a new motor for one of my pumps, new housings/fittings/etc. All together is probably safe to say I've spent between $5k and $10k dollars there. So today I replaced the 5th piece that's failed on my Polaris I bought from them. I'm a little annoyed by that b/c it cost $1000 and I feel like being 2 years old, that's just a bit ridiculous. I've also had parts sold to me at a discount because "they were opened by accident" only to find that parts where missing and I was denied a refund... but in general, I was just a little annoyed about the Polaris failures. I went into the store to get my water checked just now. The one manager (female, young, didn't catch her name) was helping some other people and a young guy took my water. I casually mentioned how I've just replaced the 4th or 5th piece on that (I think i said $1400, but it's actually $1000... no matter) Polaris, and how crazy that seems. I didn't say it aggressively. I just sorta mentioned it while the guy was testing my water. Anyway, the girl was not having it. She was sure I only paid $800 (as if that makes it somehow ok) and insisted on trying to argue about it in front of the whole store, even going so far as to stop helping customers and go print my old receipt. Okay, so it ended up being $1000 and not $1400. Still... my point was that it's not a great product if I have to spend $300 over the next 2 years repairing it (and thats just parts. if i paid labor for someone else to do it, who knows how much it would be). As I left, she came storming out of the store and began to berate me and my wife for our unacceptable behavior. I remained totally calm. Her voice shook and her eyes became bloodshot as her blood pressure elevated and she assured me of how she was an excellent manager and she just wasn't having that in her store. I calmly told her that I would have no problem apologizing if I made her feel disrespected, and I even did apologize. I then told her that perhaps a better manager might approach a long time customer with a different tact and the benefit of the doubt before talking down to us like we are children. None the less, she assured me she wasn't going to put up with my behavior (i guess of expecting value out of a product and just idly mentioning it calmly in conversation) before exclaiming "That's just the way it is!" and walking off. I'm now looking for somewhere else. Go here if you want, I wouldn't.

Their long-standing history--founded in 1918--and their friendly, knowledgeable staff gave us the confidence we needed. Construction on our pool began on July 30, 2019, and just 30 days later, it was fully completed, including the deck. We've been enjoying it ever since! The quality and craftsmanship were outstanding from day one. Even more impressive is their ongoing support. Over the past six years, Pulliam has consistently provided excellent service, whether for rare warranty issues or minor post-warranty repairs. They've always responded quickly and professionally. Everyone we've worked with has been wonderful, but we'd like to give a special shoutout to Robert and Sean--thank you for making the experience smooth and enjoyable. The communication was impeccable. Even with weather delays they finished earlier than I expected and almost to the day of the quoted lead time. The craftsmanship and quality execution by their crews is fantastic. Robert basically held my hand every step of the way. Shawn, the owner, made it very clear that my satisfaction was paramount. The entire team went above and beyond to make the process as seamless as possible. I am so glad that I selected Pulliam Pools. I would do it all over again with this team.

Enough to remove filters and the top of spa. He stated he needed a compressor to blow the lines, and the spa jets seemed glued on and were not popping off easily. He left. And second, almost the same day almost exactly the same negative review was posted on here Yelp, screenshot attached too. A&S even thought it was written by our daughter (who is 13), so we are definitely not the only ones in absolutely same sad situation with A&S. So we entered into negotiations about settling this matter. Half an year has passed since then. A&S sent us an agreement according to which for $3200 we take down the negative review and waive ALL and ANY claims against A&S "from the beginning of time". We had our lawyers review and amend the document, A&S agreed, we signed from our side, next day the lights in the pool die (three months into operation), we withdraw our consent. All this time I haven't said anything on social media. Now they send us again the OLD version of the agreement claiming it is the one we agreed on. Do you think we are idiots, Mr Owen S? Entire houses have been built in our neighborhood the time it's taken them to build PART of a pool. They constantly send out schedules that are basically imaginary. Their project managers show up once a month at most. Their schedulers apparently can't schedule a thing beyond whatever the next step is.  At this point I don't even want a pool. I just want Anthony and Sylvan out of my life. Update: My pool is nearing completion. During the winter storm, they never tried to prepare the equipment. Unknown to me, despite having an empty pool, the equipment was full of water. So now I'm waiting for months on a new heater, and more repairs. Update 2: Its been a 15 months, and my pool has not passed final inspection. My project manager even had the nerve to ask me to change a review/survey so he could get paid more! Very unprofessional!
