TRIPLE FRIED DUCK FAT FRIES. the end…read more Beautiful restaurant. It looks like a gorgeous farm home on the outside with ample parking and the inside is stunning with brick, metal, and wood accents as well as a beautiful stained glass door. The waitress was efficient and knew the menu well. We ordered a burger with no bun to make it gluten free and a pepperoni pizza. The absolute star of the show was the amazing duck fat fries with homemade ranch. The burger was excellent as well. Will definitely come back with our little guy so he can experience the best fries around.

Let me start by saying the evening began beautifully. My family of seven and I walked right in to a…read morecozy, warmly lit atmosphere that immediately made me feel like we were in for a lovely dinner. The ambiance was giving classy, the lighting was giving romance, and I was ready to EAT. Our server was genuinely sweet, and I want to make that clear because she really did have a lovely personality. However, the attentiveness was a little inconsistent. She would take our drink orders, then we'd wait around 15 minutes before she came back to ask about appetizers. Baby, why are we ordering in separate episodes? We could've ordered our drinks and appetizers together and saved everybody some time! There were moments when she'd chat with her friends instead of checking whether our table needed anything else. I understand wanting to socialize, but when you've got seven hungry people at your table, a little more attention would go a long way. Now, let's get to the MAIN EVENT: the steak. I ordered the striploin, which happened to be the most expensive item on the menu. And honey... that steak was TOUGH. I'm talking jaw workout, chew-until-next-Tuesday tough. I genuinely struggled to eat it, and unfortunately, the rest of my family had similar experiences with their steaks. Listen, I don't expect every meal to change my life, and I'm certainly not demanding a discount just because something wasn't perfect. But when I'm paying premium prices for steak, I expect to be able to actually ENJOY eating it. If my jaw is working harder than I am, we have a problem! It's such a shame because the restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, and our server was a sweetheart despite the inconsistencies in service. There was potential here for a wonderful family dinner, but the quality of the main course simply didn't meet my expectations. Unfortunately, the steaks were the dealbreaker for me. A beautiful restaurant can set the mood, and a friendly server can make you feel welcome, but neither can rescue a steak that feels like it's been training for a bodybuilding competition. For the price point, I expected much better. Two stars from me, and I truly hope the kitchen takes another look at how those steaks are being prepared.

Great experience at Ol Wisco Bar & Grill!…read more We both ordered sandwiches and honestly, they were both fantastic. I had the Wisco Melt with sweet potato fries, and my husband had the Wisco Lovin Burger with waffle fries. His burger was cooked perfectly exactly as ordered, and my Wisco Melt was excellent. I'll admit, I liked his waffle fries better than my sweet potato fries, but that's a pretty minor complaint when everything else was this good. Our only real issue? We went through A LOT of napkins. Everything was so delicious and messy in the best possible way. Definitely a place we'll be back to!

Hands down, the best part of this visit was our server, Rosario, as she was kind and patient with our group. She organized our bill early on to make sure things matched up and didn't make a fuss when we asked for separate checks. She also grabbed us boxes, took a few group photos, and helped grab us everything we needed. Typical pub fare - burgers, sandwiches, apps. They serve sandwiches/burgers without a side but you can make it deluxe and add a side for $1. Heard great things about the food around the table but the big hits were the mac and cheese bites, the wings, and the large portions. Good beer menu with a couple local options which I loved.
