Excellent. Incredibly helpful, knowledgable, and friendly. This will be my go to place from now on.

I promised Ricardo I would write a review, and now I'm only sorry that I waited this long. Ricardo passed away unexpectedly last week and he'll never see this post. Ricardo was the one of the store managers, I think, and was always helpful and funny and just an overall fun guy to see whenever I made trips to Watersavers. He will be missed. I am a DIY weekend warrior. Yet when I come here I am still treated with respect and the staff here are always very friendly and eager to lend a helping hand when I have questions. They have a great selection of anything you will need for your drip irrigation project. Not only do they have a better selection than places like Ace Hardware or Home Depot, the prices here are competitive as well. Highly recommended. read more

For my needs they are a full and complete irrigation supply store. Great for the home garden or large acreage projects. Folks were knowledgeable and friendly. read more

They sold me a used part (thinking it was new) for twice the price of a new one. Thus, made two round trips (60 miles,1.5 hours,$20 fuel) to return the used questionable part. They never apologized. read more

What am awesome business. Fair prices, awesome, helpful, knowledgeable staff, good hours, and they will deliver locally. If you need to build an irrigation system, even if it's your first time, come here first and the super friendly people at Water Savers will help you get started. read more

Really disappointing experience at Watersavers. I've been a customer for twenty years and never had a problem. I purchased some LED bulbs for my outdoor lighting system that I bought at Watersavers. The replacement bulbs didn't fit, so I brought them back and they told me they absolutely would not accept the return because it was 35 days, and they won't accept anything over 30 days ever. no store credit, nothing. They had the exact same bulbs on the shelf, so there was no reason that they couldn't have re-stocked them. Literally, any other store would have given me credit. I left the bulbs there, along with receipt since there was no reason for me to keep. Losing a long time customer over a 30 day return policy is antiquated and one reason I should buy things online instead of supporting a local business. Buyer beware, their policy is no returns over 30 days ever. read more

This place has only been open at this San Rafael location for a few months. It is open to the general public. If you have a landscaping job, it's likely your people will be buying supply's here because of their prices and inventory. I got exactly what I needed within seconds. They have many people working here for great customer care. The young man who rang up my order carried it to my car! If you have a need for landscape watering supplies this is your place! read more

Oscar Sr. and all of the guys at Watersavers take amazing care of their customers. I've been coming here for many years. Oscar always goes out his way to help and provides valuable information about his products. read more

Big shout-out to Rico the Water Wizard! He recommended a product that saved a friend's two beautiful oak trees after an arborist had recommended they be removed. My friends were ecstatic, as the trees gift the property with their majesty and beauty, and they referred me to WI. Rico was wonderful, taking me under his wing with his gift for making everyone feel important and leading me to the perfect products for all the trees on my property. Just an A+ experience! read more

Thank you, Ricardo Navarro @ Watersavers Irrigation! I went to the store looking for a new irrigation controller and Ricardo knew exactly what I needed. I will be back soon to talk more about outdoor lighting. I am so glad to find this place for future needs. read more

The employee I spoke with was condescending and rude in response to a simple "do you have?" question. And also wrong--he said no, but I walked around and found it. And both employees had their masks dangling at their chin. read more

I've been a customer at Watersaver's for over a decade and I can honestly say they are the best. Oscar and the staff are knowledgeable , approachable and the store is well organized. It is the 100% better experience than going to a big box store. You're greeted at the door and the staff works hard to make sure the customers are taken care of honestly and with a smile. We are lucky to have a store like Watersavers! read more

These guys are solid. They're nice, they handle questions with professionalism and speed, and they have what you need. They're handling the Covid-19 thing well too. They won't bother you, but if you have a question, just ask and you'll get the answer you need. They've gone above and beyond for me many times. highly recommend for all irrigation and landscaping needs. read more

It can be intimidating to walk into a specialty store like this when everyone else seems to know exactly what they're looking for... and you don't. I usually ask for help, and someone always points me in the right direction. But today Ricardo really went out of his way to be sure I found what I needed, and he gave me some great tips about making the parts work more effectively. Although my purchase was quite modest in the whole scheme of things, Ricardo treated me as if my business was important to them. That's why I keep coming back. read more

Watersavers Irrigation is the hands down best place to pick up any Irrigation/ Landscaping/ Lighting supplies that you need! They are super knowledgeable and helpful. I go out of my way to purchase supplies from them as they are also reasonably priced. Oscar and Ricardo are amazing at what they do, ask them anything and they always know the best methods or best materials to use for any project. read more

At first, I found the place intimidating... being a woman working on her own irrigation system, I felt I was not welcomed in this pro Irrigation store. The first few times I came in, I was ignored and dismissed... it felt like a lot of negative 'boy's club' energy. When I came in a 3rd time I was greeted with a sweet smile from Ricarello. What a nice guy. He totally changed my mind about this place. He got me all set up with what I needed and then some. I was expecting to be ignored again but he actually helped me. Thank you Ricarello, I really appreciate your willingness to help a non professional. I installed the new valves and fittings and the system works great thanks to your assistance and sunny demeanor. Thanks again read more

Great well stocked store and really nice, service-oriented staff who know their stuff. Big shout out to Ricardo Navarro the service lead... models the way everyone should be treated in a store. Went out of his way to make me feel welcomed, gave me a great deal on a irrigation controller and some overall recommendations to consider to replace my old one. Definitely the place to go in southern Marin for your watering needs. read more

I am in the process of installing artificial grass in my backyard and was advised by a friend to stop at Watersavers as they have all the product I need for my project. Not only did they have all that I needed for the project Ricardo Navarro and Oscar were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Ricardo gave me a pictorial that was detailed and made the task bearable. He guided me on the materials and made recommendations that helped me out. Oscar assisted me with all my stuff and both provided excellent costumer service. I will be shopping there again once I decide to take on the front yard. What a gem of a place in San Rafael! read more

I don't know about those negative reviews but my experience have been awesome. The people there are really nice and very helpful, especially Ricarelo, I had been working with him twice. He went extra miles to help me out. I'm not a contractor but they treating me the same. I had bad experiences with other local lumber stores in the area where they would treat contractors better (since they make more money from them). By the way, the owner are also awesome. Love this place. I wish they sold everything else they had at HomeDepot. I totally would've shopped here all the time. read more

Positive: A good selection at reasonable prices with some friendly staff. Negative: Wasting my time. As a professional wanting to get in and get out, my time is being wasted in multiple ways over the last twenty four hours: I asked for brass pipe thread to male hose thread and was sent to the place for brass nipples. Not seeing them, I was directed by someone else to the other end of the store. Then I was sent back again to the brass nipples, only to repeat myself again, asked whether I wanted brass (I had said this twice in the last minute) be sent back to the original place and ask where the brass pipe thread to female thread was. The person looked confused. I pointed at something that looked possible and said: "What about this?" He said "yes," so I then bought it, only to find that it was hose to hose thread. Time for a return it after all that because the staff is not trained, the labels do not say "female pipe to male hose," but use a code, and the staff could not tell the difference. While there I noticed some lights I liked and asked if they were in stock. "No." The next day I called to order them and this was the phone dialog: I call up this morning: "I'd like to place a special order." "Wait a moment.... OK" "It's Hadco model..." "Oh, you want a light?" "Yes." "Wait a moment." New voice: "Can I help you." "Yes I want to place a special order." "Hang on...." New voice: "How can I help you." "Where's Oscar. This is the third time I've repeated myself." "Oscar's busy with another customer." "I'm not going to repeat myself again." Oscar's voice: Hi "Oscar you have shuffled me three times without being able to write down a one sentence order." "I'm with another customer." At this point I hung up and placed my light order elsewhere. There was no apology and this waste of my time makes it easier to order online. Bottom line: The staff need better training about store parts and how to handle the phone. I thought it would be courteous to send this to the corporate office, rather than publicly, so I went on the website and used the e-mail given for the corporate office. This was the automatic reply: [[Your message to corporateoffice@watersaversinc.com couldn't be delivered. The group corporateoffice only accepts messages from people in its organization or on its allowed senders list, and your email address isn't on the list.]] So it seems the issue of poor communication begins with ownership. Perhaps they read their yelp reviews more than their e-mails. I hope the reply includes plans for crew training and updating the contact page on their website. That's what the customers of this store need. read more

Watersavers is one of the rare suppliers who services both the professional and the non-professional equally well. I have happily shopped there for over 15 years. The counter-staff is very helpful. Some staff members have been there for many years and they make sure the place runs smoothly. If you show up prepared with thoughtful questions, they will probably be able to help you. They can't do your design for you, but they can help you identify the components you need to bring it to completion. It's a busy place during contractor hours, so consider off-hours if you need more help than usual. read more

I visited Watersavers after being referred by a friend. I was in such desperate need due to our sprinkler system freezing up. We had not used our sprinklers in months, due to the drought. We decided to make sure they were still functioning one weekend and they completely stopped working! I went to this establishment and I had such great customer service. Ricardo showed me that good customer service still exists! It was even more amazing to see they had landscaping tools! No need for Home Depot! Thank you Ricardo for all of your help! I will certainly refer my friends to Watersavers! read more

Stumbled across this place a little while back. We had a mole problem and really needed to fix up some huge holes we had as well as fix some irrigation pipes while we were at it. I read the review before going and saw how friendly and helpful the staff was. Well when we visited the store we really were not disappointed. A gentleman by the name of Ricardo helped us and I am amazed by the level of amazing customer service we got. I could not be happier with the help we had by Ricardo. I'm so happy we looked up this store on yelp and got all of the info we needed to make our decision to go here. Thank you Ricardo! Make sure to ask for him, you will not be disappointed! I want to give this business a higher rating because they are a local business and in the end they did resolve the issue I had , but only after calling their corporate office. The individual who claimed to be the manager, Oscar, was rude and confrontational. Try and deal with Victor. He was pleasant, present, and helped me resolve the issue in a some what timely manner after being ignored by Oscar. read more

Great prices for all of your garden tools and especially irrigation system controllers and parts. I am a contractor and have shopped there over 20 years they beat out Home Depot in their inventory of irrigation supplies and parts.
