Should have read other reviews before working with Adam. It's true, he doesn't follow through on projects or return calls. He completed my business cards for my startup in 3 days which was great. Then I was told he does great work on shirts through a mutual friend who was just trying to help feed business his way. I bought several different types of shirts/jerseys to have printed in exchange for installing a easy wrap job for him and another customer. I told him to let me know if he had any questions to let me know and the cost on top for creating the image and prints. After a while he stopped answering my calls and still has my gear. Six months later, I still have not gotten a call back. All in all, not do work with Adam. You'll regret wasting your time and money. Especially if you have a deadline to meet. I missed a photo shoot that I was planning because I didn't have my shirts done. I don't like posting negative reviews but here we are. read more

Let me start by saying that I have not created a Yelp account until today... The only reason I am right now is because Adam, and Waterloo Printing, are INCREDIBLE! I called earlier this morning for the most OBSCURE request, and for only two t-shirts. I was honestly expecting to be laughed at, and hung up on. But, Adam was patient with my rambling, and so very nice. I wanted ridiculous Nic Cage photos screened onto a shirt for me, and one for a friend. And I needed them done by tomorrow morning, as we are attending a Nicolas Cage marathon, and my friend had come to town from Baltimore specifically for it. (Yes, I'm a terrible procrastinator.) Adam was absolutely wonderful! Despite not really being available today, he still listened to my request, and promised to call me back after he checked their t-shirt inventory. He promptly called me back, and said he could get it done for me today! I about had a heart attack! I knew my friend would just love this. I sent Adam 5 options (as I had found the images on my phone, and wanted to ensure they were big enough to be printed on a t-shirt without distortion.) Less than 5 minutes later, Adam returned my call to let me know which images he thought would work best. He even had the BRILLIANT idea to do a different image on each shirt, which is genius - because my friend wouldn't be the type to want to wear matching shirts to the show, anyways. We worked out the details of the sizes, and which image was to go on each, and he got to work. Within 3 hours, he called with the shirts being done! I was blown away! In fact, I was just outside of Austin when he called, and he was SO nice about meeting me in another hour or two. He even stepped away from FOOTBALL to come meet me. (That's a BIG deal in Texas!) Upon meeting him, he was just as kind as he was on the phone, and despite my feeling horrible for asking for this request so last minute, he made me feel absolutely fine about the whole situation. OH, and the shirts? They turned out absolutely terrific. I couldn't have expected any better. Thank you so much, Adam! I had a last-minute bulk order t-shirt need and was scrambling to find a place in Austin that could help out over a summer weekend. Adam at Waterloo Printing was fast, honest and fantastic-- he got a dozen orange shirts made for me and my friends just in time for our march to the Texas capitol. He dealt with all our last minute changes to the shirt, and produced a fantastic looking T! Adam also explained that because the order was so last minute, the price per shirt was higher than usual (by about $3), so in the future we should try and give him more warning. My business partner and I needed some fashionable v neck t shirts made within 10 days for an event that we were hosting. I called Waterloo printing and the owner Adam answered. He was extremely professional and pleasant to speak with. He explained the process to me and the cost which was extremely reasonable in comparison to all the other companies that I had researched. We met within a few days to show him our logo and mind you these weren't your typical t shirts to be printed. We wanted V necks which required more detail in placing our logo. We received the shirts on time and they looked better than I actually thought they would. Adam took the liberty of making a judgment call about the color on the logo and didn't even charge us extra for using a shimmery gold because he stood by what he had quoted us. Our shirts are now selling like hot cakes which is why I ordered more from Adam the day I actually received them from him. I would highly recommend using Adam's services. I've been using Waterloo since 2010 for various printing needs and here has been my experience. My first set of business cards turned out great. No problems with quality and quick turnaround. I ordered brochure prints for door hangers later on. The quality was low on a few portions of it which I feel would've been easily corrected with an initial Proof Print before making all of them. My first company T-Shirts were nice quality on the print but low quality on the shirt. We had made a suggestion for the style and Adam sold us on a stock style that was comparable. It was not however and we ended up ordering another set down the road of what we really wanted. My second company T-Shirts, Tanks and Polos were ordered in the exact style of our choosing. This order has been screwed up multiple times: T-Shirts - The prints turned out great on the T-Shirts but the wrong size was ordered for several of them. It took Waterloo almost 4 months to get us the correct shirts. Tanks - Print was good here too but the colors are slightly off. One of the sizes was too small but not Waterloo's fault. We ordered new ones agreeing to pay additional cost 9 months ago. Still have nothing. Polo - The Embroidery was twice as big as we expected. We ordered 3 Shirts and Adam agreed to get us 3 replacements. Again I feel a Proof would've been great here. I received 2 of 3 replacements and still have not heard back on the last replacement. Overall my experience had not been severely poor until now. The biggest problem is that Adam had lied to me on a few occasions in writing about my shirts being ready when they weren't, and has completely stopped communicating with a repeat customer. In my experience as a business owner that is completely unprofessional and I don't take it lightly. I'm 10 months in now and have not finished my last shirt order. My texts have delivery receipts so there is no excuse at this point. read more

I recommend that you go elsewhere. I placed an order of shirts that I needed for a bodybuilding competition. I was ensured that they would arrive no later than a certain date. The shirts were ready two days later than I was told. After communicating all day to meet and pick up the shirts I came to find that one of the shirts was printed with a stain. I was then told to just try to wash the shirt to see if the stain would come out. As a business owner that claims to deliver top quality he should not have delivered the dirty shirt in the first place. The adjustment should have been made immediately. I took the shirt home and lo and behold the stain did not come out. After returning from my competition which was in early July I asked if a new shirt could be mailed out to me since I had just moved to Killeen from Austin. I was reassured that I would receive a new shirt to my home in the mail. After about a month I contacted him being that I had not received my shirt. He said he did not have a tracking number for the shirt and would send out a new one. I asked for the tracking number to be sent to me for the second shirt that was mailed out. Several weeks later and two months after I have placed the initial order I have not received what I have paid for. I contacted him yet again for a tracking number or to just give me a refund for the price of the shirt. My emails are not responded to nor my calls answered. As someone that owns a business I make sure to always deliver the best customer service I can, and this my friends is not good customer service. read more

Terrible customer service! We paid up front in cash for t-shirts, Adam (owner) promised a delivery time frame of 5-7 days didn't happen! I called and texted and he always had an excuse as to why I didn't have my order. When we finally received out order it was wrong, the shirts we had paid extra for were missing. Again I call and text until he responds, excuse after excuse but he tells me he will fix it. As of today I have not received my order I paid for, my order was placed in July. I wish I could say our experience using Adam has been as stellar as some of these other people's experiences, but unfortunately, we had a surprisingly awful experience when we tried to have business cards made for 13 people in our small/medium-sized company, and it took nearly THREE MONTHS to fulfill the order completely. I feel my letter to him best describes our experience with Waterloo Printing: Adam, After reviewing the timeline of events for our order (via our email exchanges), [we are] extremely displeased with Waterloo Printing's customer service. The reason(s) we are so dissatisfied are all underscored by our belief that it should not take nearly [THREE] months for us to receive the cards, especially not after we have paid you for roughly half of the order up front. Although we realize some timing factors related to the printing are beyond your control in this case, this email comes in addition to a previous email I have sent you in which we were dissatisfied with how long it took just to get the proofs correct. According to my records, from the original time I placed the order (11/19/13) to where everything was finally correct, approved and ready to be sent to print (12/16/13), it took approximately four weeks [which, considering the fixes required were very minor, seemed unnecessarily long]. As for the printing, you initially told us that there was about a 7-10 day turnaround time once it was sent to print. We are understanding of the fact that the holidays interfered with the delivery of this expectation; however, we rely on you to communicate with your printer and, in turn, communicate with us to manage our expectations of delivery. If there were issues beyond your control with the printer (store closure, unusually high workload, etc.) we would have needed to know that. We are mostly very disappointed with your perceived lack of communication and sense of urgency. I would like to schedule a meeting with you to discuss how this already difficult situation can be remedied. Perhaps it can be discussed once you deliver the cards? In the meantime, please do all that you can by any means necessary to put a rush on those business cards, as they are now needed ASAP. Thank you. ______ In all fairness, Adam did not charge us the second half of the balance we originally owed for the order, and offered us a future discount if we gave him another chance, which we greatly appreciated; however, once the cards WERE finally delivered, two people's cards were messed up, and we were promised they'd be redone ASAP. It STILL took an additional 2-3 weeks to get those cards delivered to us. In all honesty, we would prefer to get business cards when we need them and have to pay full price for it than to get them several months after we actually need them and have them discounted. read more

Long story short at first he attempted to blame me and not take responsibility for his mistakes, it was my fault HE delivered the wrong shirts weeks after promised delivery date. He then said he would deliver shirts if I closed BBB complaint and removed Yelp reviews, which of course I didn't so he never replied. Please do not waste your money with this company!!! read more

I needed some last minute shirts for my son's karate tournament and after reading these stellar reviews, I thought I'd give Waterloo printing a call. I knew it was a long shot as I called on a Thursday morning and needed 3 shirts by Saturday morning. My common sense told me that it probably wouldn't be possible for anyone, but I decided to at least give it a try and see if anyone could help me out as the shirts were going to be very simple. Adam answered the phone and was extremely kind, understanding and professional. I explained my situation to him, and he said he could make it happen! I was so excited as I didn't think it would be possible. We went over the details and I told him I just needed something simple and basic. Three youth small shirts with the team name on the front.That's it. Nothing fancy. He made it sound like this was a completely doable task. We even went over the details and agreed on a meeting spot to pick up the shirts etc. I was super excited and knew the boys were going to be pumped to have "official" team shirts. He asked that I email him with the details once more so that he would have them in his inbox and mentioned that he'd email me back with the graphics. I sent the email within 10 min after getting off the phone with him (about 10:30 am) and then called to verify he received it. He verified it and that was it. I never heard from him again until roughly 5:30 pm when he emailed me to say that he wouldn't be able to print the shirts because he didn't have kid's sizes. No phone call, just an email. I responded with an "Oh no!" and never heard back. I realize that my request was last minute, but if had he told me he couldn't do it when I first spoke with him, I would've understood and called someone else. Now there's no way possible to get the shirts made and the boys (age 7) are left without team shirts for their tournament. Honesty and communication go a long way. I highly doubt I will be using Adam in the future. read more
