I LOVE Dr. Robinson. She is excellent- I have the best dental care and dental health I have ever had in my life, she takes all of my concerns seriously, and she always has a fix for any issue I have ever had. I have had cavities filled, a crown, and I did invisalign through her. She, and the hygenist staff have the most amazing bedside manner and (I come pretty often, to be fair) they always ask me questions that let me know they really pay attention to what I have shared in the past. The front desk and administrative staff is also amazing and really accommodating! I always hated going to the dentist and after working with her for the last 8 years, I could not imagine getting care anywhere else. My only downside is that over the last few years, they have changed which insurance they will/won't take multiple times so it gets a little confusing. Honestly though, if I had to, I would rather pay out of pocket and figure out reimbursement later because I just cannot go anywhere else (but it is pretty annoying!). read more

Dr. Robinson saw me after a visit to Watergate Hotel.. The day before, easter Sunday I cracked my porcelain veneer and on a Sunday who knew I would have gotten a call back. Dr. Robinson not only called me she reassured me she would see me the next day and gave me permission to call her cell phone if I had any issues. I can't help but echo the other 5-star ratings of this dentist office. While I didn't go to Dr. Robinson, I did see an equally professional and courteous dentist: Dr. Patel. Albeit a bit late to the appointment, he was nothing but smiles and chatter. I liked that he always explained exactly what he was doing and why. I truly felt like he was there to help me (and not to try to sell me extra services/products like some other dentists do). I even went home with a 'goody bag' filled with teeth-related items. As a recent transplant to the DC area, the search for an honest dentist has been like finding an honest mechanic... Nearly impossible! My first experience at another office I felt upsold and swindled. Needless to say I didn't stay long. After reviewing in network providers I stumbled up Watergate. I decided to call, and I was immediately sold with the warm customer service that I received from the receptionist. She was knowledgeable and patient, walking me through projected costs of an impending procedure. After letting me know that they were accepting new patients, I asked her to schedule me an appointment with Dr. Robinson, whom I had selected based off of the numerous positive reviews that she's acquired. The receptionist informed me that the inly available dentist was Dr. Patel. Although skeptical, I decided to give it a try anyway. It must have been serendipity because I could not be more pleased with Dr. Patel. He is very patient and detailed. I have gone in on several occasions and he's always warm and personable, remembering me by name (or maybe be just reads it off the chart) either way I'm a fan. I recently went in to have a root canal, and he explained every step of the procedure in grave detail. I would recommend this office, and more specifically Dr. Patel to anyone looking for an honest, personable and caring dentist. read more
