He can install what you purchase online or what he uses. He provides pros and cons to let you decide what choice to go with without pressure. 2. Russell and Cory came promptly at the time they said they were and pretty much finished in 2 hrs time as promised. 3. During the installation process, both of them walk you through the machine and tells you the do's and dont's and explain what they are doing throughout. I highly recommend R&S if you are considering a softener. He would not provide the filters to be replaced so we bought them online and replaced them ourselves. When he came out, he said it needed air and put some in. Water flowed from the reverse osmosis after he did that. He told us to wait to use it and let the tank fill up. Hours later It did not fill up and he is now saying he is not responsible for anything. He said we probably need a new unit. What a waste of money - he has been reliable and good for years but something has happened. He installed the unit for us 10 years ago and has always serviced it. Very disappointed and will never use him again.
