    Hot and sour soup
    Amy P.

I had a very nice lunch here. for the table we ordered the chicken curry lunch special, the sesame chicken lunch special and some sushi. The hot and sour soup that came with the lunch special was just that: Hot and sour, just perfect! The yellow Curry dish was amazing, and my girlfriend really enjoyed the sushi which was fresh and delicious. The sesame chicken was also quite good, nice and crunchy. They don't rush you so you can take your time. All in all a really nice lunch

Rainbow naruto, salmon avocado roll, tuna avocado roll.

I happened to be in Rye this evening, so I decided to check out Water Moon and get some sushi rolls to take away. They tout a 25 Zagat rating on their front door so I was expecting sushi excellence, or something very close to it. Unfortunately, when I got my order home I almost immediately began to lament that it was just your every day, run of the mill Westchester sushi and nothing special at all. The naruto roll was the best of the bunch, very fresh and quite delicious with the accompanying sauce. The salmon and tuna rolls however were totally forgettable and were about what you'd find in any average sushi spot. Don't get me wrong, the sushi was definitely eatable, it's just that some of it was poorly made. All of the non-naruto rolls quickly unraveled after being hoisted up on my chopsticks, and I didnt really like that the fish inside some of the rolls were tiny non descript pieces, very much resembling scraps. Whaddaya gonna do? Three stars.

    Fried Pork Dumplings

Saw the new addition of Water Moon to seamless and wanted to check it out. The food was awesome. My friend and I started with some the miso soup, dim sum and fried pork dumplings. The miso soup had great flavor to it and the liquid didn't separate. Both the dim sum and dumpling were also great so much flavor I could've just ate that for my whole meal. My friend ordered the garlic green bean and chicken bento box. I tasted her chicken and it was also very good could use a little more spice to it. I had the Thai curry chicken which again could've used more spice to give it a better flavor. With the appetizers alone I could give this place 5 stars. But the service was a little weird. As soon as we sat down our waitress brought water and asked if we were ready to order. Immediately after we sat down. We didn't even have a chance to look at the menu. And the place wasn't packed it's not as if they needed to get us out quick. We would be half way through a portion of the meal and she would ask if we were done. So they can def work on giving a little space and timing out when to ask certain things.

Excellent Food, but can be inconsistent depending on the chef. Here are a few of my favorites. Beef Pad Thai is so good that I find myself craving it. I'm not a big pasta person but this dish is so delicious I find myself eating the leftovers! Seared tuna salad is my new favorite. Nice portion.. Steak and Jumbo shrimp. The vegetables are so perfectly cooked I find myself eating them first and wishing I could just have a plate of them! I would not recommend their BBQ ribs or their wonton soup.

spicy titanic roll - huge chunks of fresh tuna in the spicy tuna???!! YUM!

Worse than dog food. The soup tasted like dirty dish water and the spare ribs were terrible. I don't even think they came from a pig.

*Look on clipp.com for coupons!*…read more My favorite Chinese restaurant of all time is basically right next door so I never was compelled to try Aria considering I don't eat sushi, but I got a coupon in the mail and decided to try it with my mom. First off just to note, it is absolutely FREEZING in there. Probably good for the sushi station that is right out where the tables are but definitely plan on bringing a sweatshirt. I ordered the dumpling soup which was really good, nice and hot in a cold restaurant on a rainy day. My only complaint about it was that they didn't pull apart the cilantro leaves and I got a big mouthful with a sprig of it and it was unpleasant, even as someone who likes cilantro. A little goes a long way! I liked the beef negimaki, naturally its a bit hard to eat and chew but that's how it always is. The flavor was good, nothing above and beyond. Surprisingly, I was much more partial to my mom's chicken tempura than what I ordered and I would definitely order that instead next time, I really liked the flavor of the breading. I was too full and cold to get a dessert but they had tartufo and fried ice cream which I'd definitely come back to try! It isn't the best Asian restaurant in the area in my opinion but not bad!

Immediately upon sitting down we saw that the prices were insane for what the menu items actually were. We ordered the shrimp tempura appetizer, which was $18 for 4 shrimp. It was very good, but worth it...? I don't know. The sweet potato croquettes had a great texture on the interior and exterior, but absolutely no flavor inside. The dim sum was delicious, but also overpriced for just 4 small soup dumplings. I ordered the stir-fried udon, and the noodles themselves were delicious, but the chicken was tough/overcooked and also had no flavor. The organic grilled chicken was a bit burnt on the outside and too salty. It was a $32 plate for just chicken and a few veggies-- it didn't even come with white rice or anything. For this price point, I'd expect that I'm paying for at least great service. But our waiter left us alone and only checked on us maybe twice the whole time? We were waiting about 15 minutes just to get the check because he'd completely disappeared. The restaurant wasn't crowded, and we were one of just two tables in the section, so I'm not sure why he left us alone for so long. Eventually, two other employees checked us out and packed our food after waiting that long. Overall, it was pretty disappointing and we left wishing we'd just gone somewhere else. I've gone to Japanese restaurants and had the same amount of food (if not more) for better quality, better service, and better price.

Thai Cookery Street Food has filled its spot, offering dine in, delivery, and pickup orders. Stepping inside of this high-class establishment with beautiful aesthetics that presented a well lite dining experience, through-out the restaurant, I found it to be a very relaxing and a welcoming environment. I was greeted and seated; the staff was very kind. I viewed the menu and chose Thai Crispy chicken rice bowl, the chicken satay, and a salad. The salad had a ginger dressing, and it was really tasty. I had the Satay chicken only because I tasted the Satay chicken at Boon Dee Moo Ka Ta. It tasted nothing like Boon Dee, so I found it the least and it was on the dry side, the Thai Crispy chicken was more on the bland side, but the jalapenos gave it a kick. This setting felt more like speed dating, instead it was speed eating. Everything was rushed and the timing of bringing out the food was way off; the food was brought out within minutes of each other. Maybe because it is Street Food, I mean, it's in the name. I had to rush eat so that the food would not get cold, but I failed. Maybe if I had a shovel, I could pack it in quickly. With a packed mouth, I desire to. Inspire more, Yelp more!

Over past visits, I've ordered the mango & jicama salad, mixed greens salad, seaweed salad, satay chicken, salmon avocado roll, and yellowtail scallion roll, and have also shared the wonton soup, spicy scallop roll, and Philadelphia roll. The mango & jicama salad is light and refreshing, the seaweed salad is standard, but I prefer the mixed greens salad -- it feels a bit more substantial and includes jicama, tomatoes, carrots, and a tasty peanut dressing. The satay chicken was solid and true to its name, though a bit oily for my taste. The wonton soup had a nice balance of filling to wrapper and was comforting. Both the salmon avocado roll and yellowtail scallion roll were fresh with a good fish-to-rice ratio. The yellowtail scallion roll wasn't rolled tightly enough, so it fell apart a little, but it still tasted great. The spicy scallop roll came mixed, which isn't my personal preference, and the Philadelphia roll was about what you'd expect. Overall, my favorites are the mixed greens salad, salmon avocado roll, and yellowtail scallion roll. I plan to stick with those three next time!
