Since I enjoy sitting in my porch swing on most evenings, this last Christmas, my wife said she wanted me to have a Mist America system installed in the spring. Well, I pulled the trigger and am glad I did! After contacting Mist America, I decided that I wanted them to do the install since they have experience with the stainless steel tubing installation. After calling, Jeff came by to assess the installation. We discussed, fan models, fan color, pumps and routing. Jeff was patient and knowledgeable. On my end, I needed to provide an electrical outlet and water source. No biggie there. Jeff took a few measurements, thanked me and was off. I was scheduled the next week and the guys were out to install the following week. Ruben and Kenny were my installers. I discussed routing and pump placement with them and they went right to work. They were to install two Mist360 Cyclone fans and their high-end 1000psi pump. When Ruben began routing the tubing, I could tell he was particular about his work (just like I am). The runs were straight and the bends precise. Kenny went to work with the fan installation. All-in all about a 5-hour install. I was very pleased with their work. We fired the system up and it worked perfectly. I use my ceiling light switch to turn the fan on and a key fob to kick the pump on. I was given instructions on winterizing the system and changing oil in the pump. With that, we were done. The guys were so enjoyable to have around, I kind of hated to see them go! It looks as though I have one year warranty on the installation and fan, and 3 years on the pump. Everything was professionally handled by all of the Mist America representatives that I encountered. Years after purchasing a high-end porch swing and thoroughly enjoying it almost daily, I feel that same way about my Mist America Fans and look forward to summers outside with my two favorite recreational pleasures!

I can confirm I was sitting with him when he spoke with both office staff and Ed on the phone on multiple occasions. And my son drove him to drop the deposit at Cave Creek Septic. My Dad's review: I hate having to write a review for a small business, but my experience with Cave Creek Septic has been extremely disappointing and has caused months of stress and unnecessary hardship. In early August, Cave Creek Septic agreed to repair the septic system for our tenant located at 6015 E. Cave Creek Rd. (Ledger Glass). During the second week of August, I paid a $12,000 cash deposit to begin the work. (Side note: my tenant has been using a Porta John since the end of July.) Since then, the only work they have completed is a camera snake to assess the damage and submitting two permit applications--both of which were filed months late. The first permit was not filed until October 15, and the second wasn't filed until October 28, even though I was told weeks earlier that they were "waiting on permits." (This information was confirmed on 11/20/2025 by the Town of Cave Creek at 2:30 pm. At the end of September, I contacted Ed for a status update and he claimed he was waiting on the permits. That turned out to be untrue, as they hadn't even been submitted yet. This kind of stalling, lack of communication, and dishonesty is an unacceptable business practice. Trying to get information was almost impossible. The office rarely answers the phone, and I had to call repeatedly to get anyone to respond. After weeks of delays and empty promises, I decided to take my business elsewhere in the first week of November. On November 3, I requested a refund of my deposit, and they refused to return my money. I have since spoken with multiple reputable septic companies in Cave Creek. Every one of them told me that permits in the Town of Cave Creek usually come back within weeks--not months, which confirmed my suspicions that something was wrong. I am a disabled veteran with ALS, confined to a wheelchair, and traveling is extremely difficult for me. I rely on drivers to get anywhere, and it is not easy for me to make personal trips to resolve issues like this. I truly feel that Cave Creek Septic took advantage of my situation, and all I want is my money (12k) back for work that was never performed. I am filing an official complaint with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors so that no one else has to go through what I went through. I strongly recommend choosing another company.

Another strange thing: the plumber told me I could continue using my plumbing -- showers, washer, toilets -- just don't flush toilet paper. That made no sense. It's now been weeks, we've used everything normally, and the system has worked fine ever since. I also never saw the camera evidence they said they had. I was later told by the receptionist that the technician's iPad died, so there were no photos or video to show me. After I uncovered the pipe and found no root, I called the company. The plumber, Curtis, said, "I guarantee there's something there," and then said he would replace the baffle (the T-shaped fitting at the tank connection). He also told me that if I didn't replace the baffle, I would "have problems again in 7 years." Not next week, not next month -- seven years -- which made no sense to me. When I spoke with the owner, I got yet another explanation. He said they were not replacing the baffle, only two 45-degree ABS fittings that he claimed were "compromised." They are not. I offered to send photos, but the owner didn't want to see them and told me to just cover everything back up because "everything is good." I have now received four different diagnoses from the same company. In my experience, the owner was rude and unprofessional, and the plumber's behavior felt very sketchy and inconsistent. Between the changing stories, the lack of proof, and the refusal to even look at photos of the exposed pipe, this whole situation left me with zero confidence in their honesty. Short Summary - excellent service, quality install, parts…read more Originally, I was going to use Prestige Mister, out of Mesa (they manufacture high quality mister pumps and get great reviews.) They refer installs and recommend Senor Mist. Rex (former owner, now employee who sold to his son) came out, took a look at what we wanted, made recommendations, and wrote an est. They use Prestige pumps, but also one or two other companies, depending on the required pump capacity -- much more involved than my DIY mind thought! Anyway, they did go with Prestige. I'd told him I hoped to go with a local manufacturer for quality and ideally wanted American made. We just had pavers laid and the pergola installed and I blew it by not planning misters in advance of construction. So, we'd either had to remove some pavers and lay the water line to one of the pergola posts (I didn't want to do that) or we could have laid the line on top of the pavers with a protective cover you could step over, but that would have been a little tacky. The Pergola is about 7 feet away from brick wall and I'd wanted misters on that, too. Rex did not push at all getting them on the Pergola as well and felt that on the wall would be sufficient. He could have pushed that, and I probably would have agreed, so appreciate him not trying to squeeze out extra work. Worse case is, I have it done in the future. 50% down payment required and had to tap water from inside of the house (we have soft water inside, but not out.) Had a recommended plumber take care of that. Made the down payment, and two weeks later, misters installed. Second day - still playing with them, but so far, so good. When windy, the mist blows over the fence, so not as effective, but in the evening very nice and in our covered patio definitely cools. Professional installation with quality parts is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Would highly recommend (and use again, should the need arise.)
