They came right out for our emergency and fixed our issue quick, super knowledgeable and friendly and I appreciate he took the time to explain things to us in a way we could understand. The price is the best in the valley that I found as a bonus! We will always use Black Mountain for any issues in the future for sure! I highly recommend! ~Aimee and Andy T. read more

Highly recommending Black Mountain Septic Services! I live on the county island in Cave Creek and the septic backed up today. With a large party planned at our house tomorrow we were panicked. These guys figured out a way to send help out to me in the small window of time that I had and they got everything fixed perfectly. Great service and quality work, all at a fair price! Use them if you can! read more

Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We will be using their services again in the future.

The guys were great. They came out within the time frame that was originally set. What I was anticipating to be about 800.00 turned out to be just over 300. No BS, no upselling, respectful, talked to me as an equal, explained things very clearly. They were fast, and clean. 10/10 would call on them again. read more

Jake was amazing! Can't even express how I am appreciative of his professionalism, knowledge, willing to share and teach. He pumped our 1st septic on his first day, and he showed my husband some tricks to clean the filter. He came back another day to dig and find the septic tank that is attached to the house. There was not much info on the old septic, so he wonderfully was able to locate it; then he raised it so it would be easy to find it for future pumping. I would absolutely recommend this company, the owners son was the accomplice on the 2nd day, so I know this company will be in good hands for many years to come! I have them tagged for future business for us and will definitely be referring BMSS read more

The two young men showed up on time and were able to help me with an old owner installed 50 year old septic tank. Last time I had this done the business I used could not pump out of a 3 inch pipe , charged me for two hours backhoe time and took 3 hours to do the job. These pleasant young men took about 30 minutes, had a 2 inch hose they added to the big hose and I saved $350 over the other companies job. I highly recommend Black Mountain Septic and will use them again. read more

The job was to locate and pump a septic tank that had not been pumped for about 60 years. The location was nearly 5 feet deep and not an easy dig. Josh from Black Mountain did a great job of locating the tank, digging until he found the tank and opening it up for pumping. He also did a great job of backfilling and smoothing the excavated area. The work was professional and the price was reasonable for what was accomplished. Black Mountain will be my company of choice for any future septic issues. read more

It was 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon when my tenant called and said sewage was backing up into the house. It's not easy to reach a septic company for emergency service on a Saturday, even though they all advertise 24/7 service. I called one company after another and only got answering machines. But when I called Black Mountain Septic, Jake himself answered on the 3rd ring. I almost thought I called the wrong number when I got a real live human being! Jake and his son were at the job site in less than an hour after my call. They worked until after 6:00 to get the problem diagnosed and fixed at least enough so the sewage would stop backing up into the house. Then they came back first thing Monday morning and finished the job. After they were done, they refilled all the excavation holes and raked up the yard, leaving it as good, or better than it was before they dug it up. Jake kept me informed every step of the way, sending me pictures on my phone and facetiming me. He is knowledgeable, professional, friendly and dependable. I highly recommend Black Mountain Septic Services. read more

Dont believe their less than 5 star review here. Just go to their google reviews hundreds of 5 stars. Yelp sucks anyways. These guys are the best read more

Excellent service! Helped me locate all the info I needed about my septic! Jake is the best!

This is an amazing company and if you are having septic issue, this is the place to go and Jake is the guy you WANT to talk to. There is nothing they haven't seen and they will fix your issue. My story may sound familiar. Cave Creek has had its share of construction cowboys and my house and septic were no exception. My builder put in a proper tank but took every shortcut possible and the icing on the "poo" cake was the inspection port into the second chamber was knocked over when it was buried and just covered up. For 27 years, this chamber was exposed to falling dirt into the chamber. I was required to have a septic inspection and since I had no idea what was at issue but after a quick call to Black Mountain Septic, Jake arrived on short notice. The precision bucket digs to skirt around existing irrigation plumbing was a sight to see. In short order, I had a man trap installed and a compliant septic system access. This is the company to call for all of your septic issues. read more

Wonderful company! I called after Christmas to have my septic pumped and was scheduled within a few days. Jake is honest, professional, and upfront with the pricing. Even the young men who came out prior to the pumping to dig were extremely pleasant. I highly recommend this company. read more

Called several septic companies in my area, two said 24/7 service. Jake at Black Mountain Septic was the only person who called me back. Unfortunately, there was nothing they could do on a Sunday, but they were ready to go at 9am Monday morning and had everything cleaned out in a few hours. They cleaned everything up and we are very pleased with their services. I highly recommend this company! read more

Came out located our septic tank and pumped it and said we needed a new tank. I paid him via check While Jake the owner was there he indicated was willing to install new tank without permits if I was ok with it. He told me that it would take a couple of days to provide a quote. I had contacted a competitor the day Jake was there and received a quote that day as well as a time frame for permitting of 3 weeks. My wife called a few days later to see about the quote he told her it would take a week to provide quote plus 3 to 4 months to get permits. Please note my wife is member of the BAR and basically has photographic mind and memory. Mensa ect. She told him we were going with the competitor. After leaving this review on google he responded that I wasn't in his data base and I must of had the wrong company so I called him. At first he wanted to act like he didn't even remember who I was because the account was in my wife's name even though I spent most of the time 3 or4 hours he was at my house outside with him and his crew. Claimed since the account was in my wife's name and since I left the review technically he was correct. Can you say sleazy. Then he said my wife was lying and denied telling her it would take 4 months to permit despite claiming not to remember who I was in the first place. Nice to have selective memory. Just think others should be aware of they are going to face if they have any problems dealing with Jake. Just think read more

They did not at all provide a good service. They told me all these things they were going to do to make sure the system is healthy. Instead they did a $400 pump and run and I got to listen to the tech scream at his wife on the phone the entire time The company denies what they were hired to do and claims that leaving poor reviews is harassment. They can eat it read more

Sunday night ended up with backed up pipes. They answered my call 1st thing Monday morning and had us back up and running by end of day. I have nothing but great things to say from the customer service, friendly and knowledgeable technicians and prompt service. read more

Had a fantastic experience with Black Mountain Septic! They came and drained and repaired our septic tank and remarked and rebuilt the ingress areas for us as time and weather had damaged and taken a toll on them. Very professional staff and owner. Black Mountain Septic Services is an all around 5 star company. The professionalism and quickness to problem solve septic situations is second to none. We had gurgling toilets in our house which came on rather suddenly. We were walked through quick preventative steps to ensure the situation didn't escalate and setup a quick turnaround for project completion. Customer for life now, recommending to family member also on septic, and would recommend to anyone else who would need septic services. Septic services aren't something you think about until you absolutely need them, but after having this scare and connecting with Black Mountain Septic Services, I have a little bit more piece of mind now. read more

On Saturday our septic system backed up. We called and left messages at two other septic pumping companies, one being a 24/7 service. By Monday morning we hadn't heard back from either of them. At that point, I called Black Mountain Septic Services since I had checked out their reviews and found them to be a reputable company. Jack called me back as soon as he got off the other line (he sent me a "ready made" text). I, in turn, sent him a text with our address and phone number. Before we knew it, Travis was ringing our door bell. He was very close so came right on over before we could even get a call back. Travis was knowledgeable, kind, respectful, helpful, and surprisingly we didn't get charged an astronomical amount for his service. We strongly recommend Black Mountain Septic to everyone! Thanks Jake and Travis!! read more
