I've had this restaurant in my list for months and finally got to go. My family loves Vietnamese food. We started with the spring rolls, the spring rolls with Vietnamese sausage and the pork buns. The spring rolls were the standard with a good amount of mint, which I love. The rolls with sausage were interesting. Truthfully, not sure how I felt about them. The pork buns were tasty. For dinner, we had two bowls of pho and the whole shabang. The whole shabang has a really nice marinated pork and shrimp with noodles and lots of veggies. I've had something similar at other restaurants but this one had more veggies in it. My husband got the the beef stew bokho and really like it. The broth was very tasty. Overall, everything was great and we will be back! No pictures for this trip. We were way too hungry to remember! read more

It has changed over the years. I loved it when it first opened and the first few years. After they expanded and the staff has turned over it's not as good as before. Staff is very friendly but food has declined. They seem to have gotten cheap or changed food sources and/or cooks. Ok for first timer's or the novelty but for serious foodies it's just another Asian restaurant. read more

I came here for lunch with a big group and experienced wonderful service. Our orders were taken quick and the food was also brought out quickly for the amount of orders placed. Came to Dayton to explore the Air Force Museum in a cold winter day. We wanted some hot soup and found out about this modernize restaurant with a long list of menu items. We ordered beef pho, Sizzling Cake, and Shaken Beef. The beef pho was so tasty and flavorful with so much topping (steak, brisket, tendon, tripe, and meatball), sizzling cake was crispy but not burnt, and C5 was delicious with medium well beef, fries, and sausage. Tried this place for the first time with a pick-up order. We were impressed! The pho broth is very flavorful and the large bowl is a generous portion. They thoughtfully package the toppings and noodles separate from the broth, so nothing gets soggy and you can assemble your pho at home. The soft spring rolls were good, but the egg rolls were too greasy so we wouldn't order those again. Prices are also very reasonable. We will be back! read more

We came here for lunch on a Friday and it was packed, which is a sign of how good it was! So yummy, affordable, and they give massive portions! I also love that they offer plenty of vegetarian options, which is usually a bit rare for Southeast Asian cuisine. If you're dining in, they'll bring the menus and food out to you, but you pay up at the counter. The two of us shared the Bahn Bao Kep appetizer (steamed buns with BBQ pork, pickled carrots, and cilantro), Bot Chien (Pan Fried Egg Rice Cake, crispy rice cake pan fried with eggs and green onion), and Vermicelli with Grilled Nem (vermicelli noodles with Vietnamese style grilled ground pork). To drink, we had the Taro Bubble Tea. Everything was delicious! Food came out quickly, too. My favorite dish was the pan fried egg rice cake because the rice cakes were perfectly crispy and paired so well with the egg and onion. We also really enjoyed the grilled pork that came with the vermicelli, but we wish that dish had had either a more flavorful sauce, or contained more of the sauce in general. I really wanted to like Wat da Pho since I love Vietnamese food. It wasn't bad although they forgot to give me an eggroll with my bun. (BTW I didn't factor this into the rating of the restaurant). Overall, I prefer Linh's or Xuans. I didn't get the Pho here, but I tried the Banh Mi and the Bun. I also tried their taro slush with boba. It was mostly ice unfortunately.
