The electric furnace I had was 11 years old. I called N. S. B. for a second opinion. I should have called Marvin (N. S. B.) first! After testing gizmos and what-cha-ma-call'ems, he found a widget that did not switch off - or maybe it was stuck on? It cost a TOTAL of $180.00 to have Marvin replace the widget and get a new thermostat (the one that the other company sold me did not work). He came back on Saturday to ensure that the furnace worked without problems - he double checked the other gizmos to make sure nothing else was stuck in the wrong position and that the furnace was truly fixed. It was - and four days later - is still silently providing me with quiet efficiency. Marvin saved me from spending over $3400.00 needlessly with that other HVAC company. It was actually perfect. We finally got to the dreaded end of life for both our furnace and air conditioner and right during the busiest time for all companies, midsummer and right after two rounds of very damaging storms. We got a quote from the company we had been using and that quote wasn't necessarily gross outside of reasonable but we felt that with such a high investment we should get at least one more quote. We called Enright, who handled the quote and all of our questions immediately. They were less expensive than our previous quote, had a much better warranty and better financing. They are also clearly competent. The owner, out of mercy on our souls after the storms came to see our broken system first and we didn't hear him at the door and he had to leave. We felt horrible. He is busy! He treated us with such grace. The company is family owned and operated and works around the clock and are very accessible. The installers came right on time, were extremely polite and conscientious the entire time and finished their quality work ahead of time. They were clean, well organized and cheerful. Do not hesitate to use this company. I really don't see how their service can be beat.

Our AC…read moredied and after another company told us that our unit could not be repaired and had to be replaced ($6,000), we contacted Harmonic for a second opinion. Daniel the service technician opened the unit up and tested everything. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why. He discovered a bare wire that had been chewed (possibly by a mouse) and was touching the metal housing which tripped the circuit breaker. Daniel replaced the wire and the unit is working perfectly. The honesty and integrity of this company is refreshing. We will not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to all our friends.

I was told the diagnostic would cost $149. I asked to be informed of any repairs that had to be done. Technician checked the system and recommended replacing unit. We discussed replacement unit and cost. I was ready to pay deposit. In the next 10 minutes I was told that the model I selected is old and not available. New model costs $1000 more. I asked for a proposal to decide later. Technician told me that the visit costs $396. He said that he fixed air conditioner that was not working. He never told me that he is fixing anything. Through our the visit it looked like he was figuring out the problem. I talked to the owner and we agreed that any repairs that were done will be undone so that I do not have to pay for repairs. Then the technician removed all the wires from the board making both heat and fan unusable. He did not just undo the "repairs", but made entire system unusable including fan and heat which were working before his visit. See the photos to show what was done!

The fire department was called and we (me, my wife, and our 3 kids) were without heat on a 20 degree night.
