We woke up to a 73 degree home when it was set for 69 degree. Of course, I called them and OF COURSE, they couldn't come out until the end of the week! I was so glad I ended up calling another hvac company because within minutes of opening the side panel on the AC unit, he saw the leak from the accumulator right away! The refrigerant connectors are located on the outside of the ac unit, so I know for a fact he didn't open the side panel. So the $100 level 2 diagnostic is a joke!!

So I requested the "second" appointment which they said they can't guarantee the timing of arrival. I told them I am not available after 2pm due to needing to then get my son from school/other activities. Was warned it was a 60-90 min appointment. So tech would have to be here by 1230. 9/28 was my initial appointment. I cleared my garage and the space around my tank, sent pictures, and waited at/near home constantly by my phone for me to get a text about an "emergency situation" at 12:20. I cancelled and rescheduled for the following Monday (the only day I have free) for the "second" appointment again because I'm only available from 9-2. 10/5 attempt number 2. Morning comes and goes and I got the same exact text, copied and pasted from before about an "emergency situation" that arose. I texted them back and told them I was no longer interested after not being able to be accommodated twice and having my time wasted. I was then called and texted multiple times in a short span around 12:45 saying they magically had someone available. I told them it's already too late and the tech wouldn't be done with the flush before I need to leave. I told them clearly on the phone I am going to look for a different company and they continued to tell me they wanted me to reschedule. I finally told her that I was done with the conversation, to have a nice day and hung up on her because she was NOT getting it. All in all pretty terrible experience/scheduling on their part. This is for a very short and routine appointment too so I can't imagine if I actually needed help in a timely manner.

Due to a misdirected email that we weren't supposed to be on, we saw that what they tell customers is different from what they discuss internally. System cools when there's no need to cool and heats when there's no need to heat. Register blows cold air in the winter when the system is in heating mode. Technicians have no idea how to fix any of it, and repeatedly make the problem worse (and then go radio silent) when they come for a service call. Go somewhere else.

I then asked if they could also quote me on routine maintenance for our furnace. They could have easily charged me for an added service, but told me they had a fall special for doing both jobs together that was $30 less than what they had quoted me for just the HVAC work! Says a lot about them, I think. Of course, it's the actual work that matters most. My service tech, Matt, called enroute and gave me an accurate time of arrival. He was very professional and even showed how to do periodic cleaning. He found a leak in our furnace that needed a small repair. He did the repair with no additional charge. This company is great. I've already put them in my calendar for next year's routine maintenance and I would definitely call them if I had any other issue before then.
