Washable Laundry I am writing this review to say that Washable Laundry in Bend, Oregon is the loveliest laundromat I have ever had the pleasure to patronize! It is immaculate, modern, and well maintained, it has an excellent location and great parking, and on the day I was there it was cared for by a wonderful attendant (a blonde woman whose name I did not learn) who was constantly cleaning and providing help to everyone who needed it. I assume it is not the cheapest laundromat in Bend, but every penny has clearly been reinvested in the the machines, the facility, and the service. And the money is going to good people, because the attendant told me that the owners are the nicest people she has ever worked for. Laundromats aren't normally the most enjoyable places, but I will actually look forward to the next occasion when I need to use the services of Washable Laundry! read more

I've been to many laundromats in my life and this one has to be THE cleanest... Everything is shiny, clean, and obviously well maintained. I didn't see any machines with any "out of order" signs. It's been years since I've had to go to one so I wasn't sure what to expect as far as prices go. I don't know if it's reasonably priced for the area or not but I just needed to wash a king size comforter and it cost me just under $11 to wash (I paid a little extra for an additional rinse cycle) and $3 to dry for one hour. The parking lot is really small and street parking is a hot commodity, with the food truck and tap room spot across the street, but I found a spot in the Washable parking lot right when I pulled in on a Saturday afternoon! So I haven't been to a lot of laundromats, but I do occasionally find myself in need when I'm traveling. Just stopped in here after being unable to purchase laundry detergent at another laundromat in town. Not gonna lie, I'm shocked at how clean and sparkly everything in here is. The machines look like they're all installed within the past year. It was relatively inexpensive to do all of our laundry and everything was washed and dried in under an hour. There was a lady that was working that was walking around and checking on people to make sure they didn't need anything. They even had nice little desk set ups for people to sit at so that they could do some work while they were waiting for their clothes to finish. Great little place next to a take out pizza joint and some other stores- grab a beer and a pizza and do laundry! We honestly went here just to wash a couple of king size down comforters, and it did the job. Not too pricey. Comfortable and clean facility- bathroom was closed at 5 pm when we got there. read more

When you are traveling in the van and it's finally laundry day (a few days after it's really laundry day), finding a place like this is golden. Modern machines that take credit cards, with XL bin options for the dogs bed, and plenty of machines so you are not sitting around waiting to start. Parking is a bit tough, and it's kinda expensive relative to other places I've done laundry ... but I am in Bend!!! read more

Always so clean & the machines are well maintained!! To make matters better each time I've been there the employee never stops cleaning machines and making sure the floors are spotless, always checking with customers. Rare to have such dedication at work these days! read more

the prices were a huge shock, but in all honesty, i have not used a laundromat in eons.. the nitty gritty, traveling with animals will change my frequency to laundry facilities.. once i reconciled the price in eon terms, i walked around and familiarized myself with all the machines.. they were clean with nice big signs above them to help decide what size washing machine to use.. there was no waiting for a machine.. the dryers worked amazing and the grassy area out front allowed my 4legged to wait with me.. i can only hope all the laundromats in my traveling will be as nice read more

While traveling a couple of weeks ago we needed a quick laundry day. Washable Laundry was clean, safe and had food trucks for snacks right across the street. I sat and read while our clothes washed and dried. The facility was light, bright and clean. read more

Really nice kept machines, card friendly on machines, has working coin change, has nice options in size machines from small to X-Large

We travel fulltime and this is by far the nicest laundromat we've been in. Clean machines and dryers and I love that you can use a credit card. read more

I HATE going to a laundromat, but Washable Laundry made it almost painless. I had several VERY heavy rugs that needed washing. I was able to choose a washer that could hold 40 lbs, took my Visa card, and was simple to operate. All the washed rugs then went into 1 heavy-duty dryer that dried them all at once. Yaaay! I sat at a nice table outside and read while they were drying. The building was clean and had enough parking. What more can I say? read more
