This place abused my son 8 years ago. I found him covered in pee under an air conditioning on his third birthday, he said that a university volunteer did somethjng horrible to him, and then they kicked him out. BE VERY CAUTIOUS, this place is not Christen, and not a good place for your children. If you value your child, you need to rethink this place. I am very sad to see this place under the management of Amanda G., she has no heart, and will look for any excuse or misunderstanding to place the blame on your child. DO NOT LET SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS GO HERE, they do not have to people trained for these children. I caught them in lies, and my children would come home with bruises that they wouldn't explain. It is very sad, because this place used to be so good, and now it is horrible. We were forced to have our kids go to this school because they refused to run the school buses after using covid as an excuse. No to mention they dropped us for months during Covid with no warning. Other daycare did not close, but they will leave you in the lurch at a moments notice. This review is not from having my children here a week or two, I have had my children here for years, and I am sad to see this once great and caring daycare become what it has today. I have to move my children in the middle of the year right before Christmas break, and all three of my children have cried because they are going to miss their teachers, and friends. If they really loved your children like they claim they do, would they do this horrible thing to them? If you really love your children, don't do this to them ether. Go somewhere else. I had my kids here for 4 years, and the first 2 years were great, but after that, it became one disappointment after another. My son who has special needs was kicked out because they don't have the resource to help him. Amanda who is the school principal decided to inform us the night over the phone that he can't go anymore, even though they knew all these years that he had special needs, was considered a 504 (ADHD student), and they never had any state required accommodations for him. So what happened during the other 3 years he was a student, why inform me now? They just wanted to take my money, and now they can't care for their children because their staff keeps on quitting on them. Not only that my child is in fourth grade but because they are so short staff that one teacher is teaching second grade, third grade and fourth grade in the same class. This was supposed to be for a short time until they hired more teachers but it has been for months. They also suspended my 4-year-old daughter because she was acting up and accused of doing horrible things. I requested to see the videos as they told me that they have cameras in the classes, she never acted anywhere else as they claimed, we had babysitters over the weekend, at church, and family members who never had a problem. I ask principal Amanda to show me the videos but she said she couldn't get the video to work and to this day I have never been able to see what they claim happened. Later I found out that they had accreditation inspections that week and didn't have the staff to care for the number of children in their care, so they suspended some of the children to pass their accreditation. This principal plays dirty and needs to be replaced. She is a calculated cold-hearted person, not a Christian at all. read more

Love love this daycare, they're so great in the infant room 0 to 12 months, I put my foster daughter in all white just to see how dirty she would get & I was surprised she looked great, they are so caring & friendly & understanding. Great security Drop off is great she doesn't cry when I drop her off which is a good sign ! read more

Don't send your children here... the only thing Christian about the place is in the name. They have huge turn around in staff, they have some really wonderful teachers, but upper management is awful and cares only about there agenda and money. Just don't send your children here. read more

We have been extremely unhappy with this daycare. Our daughter was left waiting at school by this daycare for nearly 2 hours. The daycare said they were "stuck in traffic" even though the school is 5-10 minutes away. There have been several instances when the daycare did not open at the regularly scheduled time. One time, my husband waited 45 minutes for a sitter to show up and we had to pay another sitter to watch our children. We were told that we should have just left our children with the custodian who was the only person in the building and didn't speak English. When we addressed this with the director, she refused to discuss it and we were told that she didn't want to hear our "sob story." The administration here make endless lame excuses and refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes. I'm sure there are a few good employees here but the administration is horrible. Take your kids somewhere else! read more

Putting my 4year old with babies cause he isn't there right at 830 but when hee is there at 830 we sit and wait for the late teachers. no one cares there. it's hardly glorified babysit ting let alone pre k. the absolute worst place you can send your children! and if you consider taking them still, if you have a 0 to 12 month old check out their car seats... i was threatened by my daughter's teacher that she was "personally going to call cps on me" because she said her carseat was on a recall, which later i found out, it is not!!!! my 2 yr old also cried everyday (which isn't normal for his personality) and he often came home with scratches from other children and insect bites. worst daycare in ogden, ut. it has been more than 20 unnecessary cps cases reported from that daycare this year. you could be next!!! read more

We love WCELC - We have going to the school almost five years now, and enjoyed all our experiences. We have had three directors and a multitude of staff members and teachers, most persisting throughout the years, and some changing. Through each change, we have learned from each; each have their own strengths and weaknesses. Moms who are new to the daycare experience and have certain 'great expectations' may quit the daycare, look around, and will eventually come back despite the complaints. I looked at other highly rated facilities around my workplace vicinity, up to 20 miles away, and immediately latched onto Wasatch. The cleanliness, safety concerns, attitudes of staff members, and un-deniable concerns of the students in the building and under their care is palatable and extra-ordinary. We are blessed to have WCELC in our lives and I have no gripes - My children are getting an individualized and A+ education with teachers that care and are obsessed with teaching and improving their students' lives. We will stick around as long as we can! read more
