Hello, wow. Where to even start. First of all I want to highlight that, while I may not ever promote this business, there are some people here that I'm sure tried and cared about the kids the way they should have been. Unfortunately, the majority of the people that work here seemingly don't care that much about the kids they are watching. This was demonstrated to me over the course of many many incidents over a month or two. The first horrible red flag was walking on on of the teachers in the three's class, Timber, grabbing a little girl by the face and squeezing her cheeks, forcing her to make eye contact with the teacher, while she scolded her on the importance of listening. She didn't know I was in the doorway with my daughter when this happened. I spoke with the owner, Stacy, about this and told her that I didn't want my daughter in that class anymore. I then ignored another huge red flag when explaining to Stacy that that kind of behavior was unacceptable. Stacy told me that while she would love to have qualified help in her daycare- she simply cannot afford to pay qualified people. The new class my daughter went to was not any better. Many days she would come home with a diaper half way on, or not diaper at all which caused her to pee or poop her pants. The final straw was today. I bought new diapers that were very specific, ones I knew the daycare wouldn't have. My daughter came home in the same diaper I dropped her off in two days in a row. Meaning she wasn't being taken care of. When I called to talk to Stacy about it, I was told they had "spare diapers" that were the same as mine but I was also told that it wasn't going to work out anymore and my daughter could no longer come to this daycare anymore. I came in to pick up my daughters things and asked to see the spare diapers. A nice lady there showed me and there were no diapers there that matched mine. The owner lied. I was also told that everyone had "tried" to change her diaper but they can't force her to be changed because the state will come after them. It seemed like the consensus there was to avoid changing her diaper just because it was "hard" and to keep the state off their back. This is not taking care of children in anyway and I have no way of knowing before this how many times my daughter sat all day in a pee or poopy diaper. While I was expressing my frustration in a normal tone to someone there, Stacy called and said that if I didn't leave the cops would be called. This is not a place for kids, it is not well kept, the owner can not afford to pay good people, and the people that work here will lie to you to cover their own butts. I only wish I had seen it sooner. You can make your own choices with childcare, but this is my honest review of a place that flaunts their awards but doesn't do the things they actually need to do to take care of the kids. read more
