The teachers are fantastic and there are plenty of staff on hand so I know that my child gets personal attention. I know that each one of the teachers loves my daughter and cares about her progress. I know that my daughter is Kindergarten ready after two years here. I love the sense of parent involvement provided with programs, special occasions, and parent accompanied field trips. Any time I've had a concern Miss Mary has been completely sympathetic and devoted to coming up with a solution. The price is very reasonable. We are paying $115 per month for three 2 1/2 hour days per week. The school follows the Weber School District calendar which is great if you have older children in school. I think If I had one complaint it would be that many parents ignore the pick up and drop off procedure. Many of them are pretty inconsiderate and will pull right in front of those who have been waiting patiently or will omit the procedure altogether and jam up the street parking all over the place to walk up and get the kids. The school does its best to make this streamlined so it is just the parents. I'm sending my second child to the preschool next year because I've had such a good experience here! I couldn't rate it highly enough. My daughter loves going to school and this school has provided a positive introduction to her education. I'm amazed at the knowledge she continually surprises me with and I credit Mary's Little Red Schoolhouse for many of the things she has learned.

I popped in once or twice for a forgotten jacket and the teachers and students were working in such harmony. My son didn't even notice me come in the door he was so engaged in the activity. I am beyond happy with the teachers and grateful for his excitement for learning. There is an upstairs classroom and a downstairs. Between the two there is a lot of variety (yet routine) offered to the kids.

Ms Andrea and her staff are so great with our kids! They learn so much in class...I'm consistently blown away by what they have learned! One of our children had a very tearful drop off just about every morning for many months and Ms Andrea was so good to encourage him to keep coming to class and eventually the tearful drop offs disappeared entirely. He loves his preschool days now and has made many new friends this year! We've been so pleased with our choice with New Discovery Montessori. We highly recommend!

He never cries and clings to my leg at drop off like he did in with the previous babysitter he went to. In fact, he likes it so much here that he walks me to the door every morning and literally shoves me out the door and goes in before I can tell him goodbye. The staff is friendly, and I have not seen a grumpy face yet! I always get a hello and a good morning from whomever is in the office in the morning, and my son teachers always make a point to say hello and tell my son good morning. The staff is always so amazing about informing me what goes on with my son and what he does during the days and ways he's been improving overtime. And the director, Ty is absolutely phenomenal! She goes ABOVE AND BEYOND! It's a friendly atmosphere all the way around.

It is extremely disjointed and disorganized. Nothing is planned ahead so if you aren't checking your 6 different inboxes for info from the school you are bound to miss something. But they do make sure to text multiple times to remind you if you leave your kid there after closing on Tuesdays is $5 per minute. So if they want you to receive a message they know how to send it but if it doesn't benefit them you can expect to go hunting for any info you need. The director is cold and short. I couldn't wait to get my kid out of the school. Nothing like what it says on paper. Mrs. Helen is also a horrible teacher she has no patience or care for children. She shushes our child many times when he needed assistance resulting in traumatic experiences that could have easily been avoided if she had any capacity to work with small children.

They are amazing at making sure he gets fed on a schedule and everytime I come to pick him up he's listening to classical music or a fun kids channel. The babies will all be sitting in a circle playing with toys or looking in a mirror. He gets his own crib for naps. The class is also small which is nice. It is hard to leave your baby with somebody else, but I don't worry about him because I know he's in great care! Prices are affordable and comparable to nearby places. I pay $155 a week for full time care. They were also able to get me in without a lot of notice too!

For many years, we had a great experience and there are still some truly wonderful teachers at the school. However, over the past two years, I've had serious concerns--especially around bullying and how students with disabilities are supported. A recent change in administration brought about many changes that, in my experience, have not been positive. My oldest child, who was in 5th grade, had an extremely difficult year, and ultimately, I made the tough decision to withdraw both of my children before the school year ended.

The price is reasonable and they have Jesus time. It's quiet and well run. The only thing is I wish they could stay another hour because it's hard with my work schedule to get the timing right.
