Fitness has always been huge in my life coming from a military background we always need to be fit. I used to go to golds gym a lot however this gym has everything and then some regarding equipment. My main focus is gym equipment and this gym has all the necessary equipment to target every aspect of your muscle groups. The staff is awesome and friendly and the crowd and locals are also awesome and friendly. There is also plenty of parking which is more than I can say for my previous gym. There is a lot of awesome perks to this gym however my only interest is the weights. They also have a child care which is perfect for my kiddos however we have not got to experience the child care yet due to the current covid conditions and it being closed at the moment.

It's been this way for at least a month and there is no evidence of anyone doing anything to repair any of it. I wish I could say this is unusual for this location, but it's not. Ive stayed with the EOS membership because they have a good yoga class. I joined VASA in Ogden (in addition to EOS) so that I could swim a couple of times a week-VASA's amenities are rarely out of service, I saw the steam room down for one day, once. EOS was doing better...For about 6 months none of the stuff in the pool area was broken. So, I quit VASA. A couple of months later, it's just as bad or worse than it was before! I halfway suspect that they just don't want to pay the (heating) utilities so they just turn stuff off!

(one of the reviews) was exaggerating the truth when she talked about her grandson. I was part of the recital that year, and he was so cute! Though he did not get as much stage time as he deserved, he was dancing for the majority of his class's number. He was a ladybug with the most adorable collared shirt. He was the only male in the class, and his dance was almost exactly like his classmates. For the recital, be warned, the performance has always been held in June, and measurements for the costumes are usually taken in December. If your child is growing at a rapid rate, be sure to ask them to "be a little bit bigger" for the measurements. Most classes generally begin to learn their dances in January or earlier, depending on the class. In my experience, anyone below the pre-pointe class has one dance with his or her class, and then performs in the opening and grand finale. For those starting pointe, Miss Penny sells shoes for around $60. (believe it or not, that's really cheap!) however, she only sells a few styles, and only Capezio. In your child's first year of pointe, I assumed that at least one of the three days each week would be spent on regular ballet slippers, but this is not so. From the very first day with pointe shoes, a pupil will be dancing on pointe shoes for one hour. Yes, in the beginning it does NOT feel good, but I truly believe it has led me to grow stronger, value physical effort, and live a healthier lifestyle. If your child does not feel fitted to Miss Penny's Pointe shoes, I would recommend Puttin' On The Glitz, which is located nearby. They are very knowledgeable and have a great selection. For regular slippers, I would recommend Revolution Dancewear's shoes with a stretchy middle. These allow growth, both because of the stretchy middle, and the leather, which can expand half an inch, maximum. Mine lasted me three years, while I was growing. Though Miss Penny can seem intimidating, she does not mean to be, and does not instruct the younger students. She begins teaching pupils once a week when they start in their first year of pointe, with younger instructors doing the other days. The younger teachers are also in charge of the younger classes. For the younger classes, there is the teen instructor that has gone through careful scrutinization, and then there is a student teacher, who can be anywhere from 10-14. As for the number of days per week, I believe that young classes are taught once a week, and I know that starting in pre-pointe, 2 days is the norm. In beginning pointe, there are 3 days.

However, the management is simply atrocious and unforgiving, especially considering this is for K-12 dancers who have other commitments. In November of 2012, I was accepted to go tour Washington, D.C. on scholarship with my United States Representative. Obviously, that's an incredible and once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Unfortunately, it meant that I was going to miss a Ward Christmas party performance. I told the management in October about my trip. Nothing was done about it and two weeks before the performance, they were scrambling to find someone to learn my position. Instead of cooperating with me, I was replaced on the High School team that I had tried out for and paid to be on by two Jr. High girls (the daughter of the costumer and her best friend) not only for the performance that I missed and the following concert (which I would have understood, because I missed the penultimate practice as well), but for the remainder of the year. It was absurd. Despite my complaints, the manager would do nothing. In addition to this, my brother joined a team for a semester in 2012. The coach decided to choreograph in a somersault... at 6'1", my brother's physique is not able to easily do somersaults. He was hurting himself just trying. The coach wouldn't change the choreography to accommodate his team, and the manager would only lecture my brother for not doing it. Eventually my brother was literally kicked off of the team because he wouldn't 'cooperate.' I would look elsewhere for ballroom dance lessons.

Those years covered many different maturity levels and the drama associated with teenage life added lots of opportunities to grow both socially and physically.
