So far, so good! My son has been coming here for a little over 2 years and he loves it. He likes…read morehis teachers, and LOVES playing outside and doing art. He never cries and clings to my leg at drop off like he did in with the previous babysitter he went to. In fact, he likes it so much here that he walks me to the door every morning and literally shoves me out the door and goes in before I can tell him goodbye. The staff is friendly, and I have not seen a grumpy face yet! I always get a hello and a good morning from whomever is in the office in the morning, and my son teachers always make a point to say hello and tell my son good morning. The staff is always so amazing about informing me what goes on with my son and what he does during the days and ways he's been improving overtime. And the director, Ty is absolutely phenomenal! She goes ABOVE AND BEYOND! It's a friendly atmosphere all the way around.

The facility itself is not fancy but it is clean and safe. They have structured class time during the school year and a schedule of fun rotating activities during the summer like park and water days. They have also been flexible with my schedule, allowing me to bring my kiddo in on different days as my needs have changed, even at relatively short notice. It is nice to work with such a flexible staff. Other facilities may look fancier, but you would be hard pressed to find a place that cares as much and treats the kids as well as Sunrise. I love it and highly recommend them.

Disclaimer: I am the "over protective" mama that does the endless research, tours a dozen…read morefacilities, and asks a million questions before choosing a program to put my kids in. I LOVE LITTLE ORCHARD KAYSVILLE! Just by meeting the program director (Michelle Paez) you get a sense of the high standard Little Orchard PreSchool is held to. My 3.5 y/o has a speech delay, mild sensory sensitivity, and severe separation anxiety. Ms. Michelle reassured me that the staff are prepared to help kids with any transitioning difficulties they may experience. They are INCREDIBLY empathetic and patient with each student, my son actually hung out with Ms. Michelle his first 2 days of school and once he felt safe with her; she helped him transition into the classroom without her. The level of compassion and respect they give to our kids is outstanding. Other things I found note worthy... - CLEAN: The facility has a modern and updated interior. The layout is simple and very clean/organized. - STRUCTURED PROGRAM: The program is Montessori based and is very much routined and structured. They have a set daily schedule and implement early education skills (reading, writing, etc.) - GREAT COMMUNICATION: The program director is the bridge of communication between you/your kids and the teachers. This makes communicating thoughts and concerns consistent and easy! If I have a concern about my son, I can just call, text, or email Ms. Michelle and she does the rest. I decided to write this review bc last week I noticed a bruise on my son's face on a day he had school. I reached out to Ms. Michelle and asked if she could check in with his teachers and see if he had an accident or hurt himself. She called me and said that she had talked to all of staff that interacted with my son AND she personally reviewed footage from his school day to make sure there weren't any incidents where he could have been hurt. I just felt very impressed with the level of safety precautions and immediate communication to re-iterate that our children's safety is their top priority. - COMMUNITY: There are activities that families can participate in that make it fun easy to interact with the school community. - PROCARE APP: Little Orchard has a smartphone app where you can sign in/out your child from school, get personal updates from teachers, get pictures/summaries of activities the kids are doing in real time, update personal information, pay tuition, direct message the staff, etc. The app is user friendly, easy to navigate, and makes it easy to never miss an update! Long story short; if you want a community that will enable your kids to thrive socially, emotionally, physically, and academically, CHOOSE LITTLE ORCHARD!

I consider them part of our family and value their role in my children's lives. Every single teacher in the center knows and interacts with my children lovingly and as if they were their own. Management and teachers have always been professional, responsive, and considerate. Procare is used to provide updates and photos on their daily activities, and funny stories/info on their days are also shared during pick-up/drop-off, always keeping me - and even Grammy - involved. Communication lines are always open and parent-teacher conferences are offered regularly. Activities indoors and outdoors are plentiful, allowing my kids to burn their massive amounts of energy. Meals are kid-friendly while meeting and exceeding State standards for healthy meal plans. Any concerns are resolved promptly. I've never had to question the safety - physical, emotional, or otherwise - of my children while in their care, and any incidents between children are well-documented and handled appropriately. The facility is clean and maintained, providing a sanitary environment. Teachers are trained regularly, and turnover is infrequent (all but maybe two have been with the center for 1y+). In the time my kids have attended, we've seen many wonderful updates, from the installation of security cameras and complete remodels of rooms to new playground equipment and strollers for walks. In short, my kids are happy, well-taken care of, and the dedication and commitment of management and teachers to each other, to the children, and to the facility is clear to see. Thank you Miss Katie, Miss Ann, and staff for providing quality care - We could not ask for better!

They once tried to convince me she had chicken pox (site definitely didn't) just so they could have one less kid to supervise. She was only 1! In one month, they called me 8 times to come get her. And I finally asked the owner how they got paid and whether the child is there for 1 hour or 8 hours, they charge for the full day, so the staff was getting their full pay and then just sending kids home! It was AWFUL.
