I asked to put my daughters tuition on hold but because she was only there 3 full days I didn't qualify. I thought it over, over the weekend, and decided I needed to just withdraw her. You see, I also work in healthcare, and while I am NOT on the front lines my job is essential and I will be working outside my home everyday through this Stay Safe, Stay Home and it wasn't just about my daughter or my finances (although as a single mom that was a HUGE part). I could have continued to take my daughter to Bravo, perhaps one day unknowingly exposing all of the children and staff to COVID-19. I chose to withdraw her instead. As a consequence I was charged over $250, 2 more weeks of full tuition and then withdraw fees. No, I would not recommend them. I understand, this is what I agreed to when I signed up for childcare and in a normal world I would not expect anything less than to abide my strict policy, but this is NOT a normal world.

When I first took my daughter who was 1 then, it took her 2 weeks to settle and the staff remained gentle and patient, even gave me some pointers to break her into the daycare schedule. The teachers are fantastic and there are plenty of staff on hand so I know that my child gets personal attention. I know that each one of the teachers loves my daughter and cares about her progress. I know that my daughter is Kindergarten ready after two years here. I love the sense of parent involvement provided with programs, special occasions, and parent accompanied field trips. Any time I've had a concern Miss Mary has been completely sympathetic and devoted to coming up with a solution. The price is very reasonable. We are paying $115 per month for three 2 1/2 hour days per week. The school follows the Weber School District calendar which is great if you have older children in school. I think If I had one complaint it would be that many parents ignore the pick up and drop off procedure. Many of them are pretty inconsiderate and will pull right in front of those who have been waiting patiently or will omit the procedure altogether and jam up the street parking all over the place to walk up and get the kids. The school does its best to make this streamlined so it is just the parents. I'm sending my second child to the preschool next year because I've had such a good experience here! I couldn't rate it highly enough. My daughter loves going to school and this school has provided a positive introduction to her education. I'm amazed at the knowledge she continually surprises me with and I credit Mary's Little Red Schoolhouse for many of the things she has learned.

I am beyond happy with the teachers and grateful for his excitement for learning. There is an upstairs classroom and a downstairs. They are amazing at making sure he gets fed on a schedule and everytime I come to pick him up he's listening to classical music or a fun kids channel. The babies will all be sitting in a circle playing with toys or looking in a mirror. He gets his own crib for naps. The class is also small which is nice. It is hard to leave your baby with somebody else, but I don't worry about him because I know he's in great care! Prices are affordable and comparable to nearby places. I pay $155 a week for full time care. They were also able to get me in without a lot of notice too!

Nicole and Tiffany made the transition into preschool for both of my boys so easy. They felt safe and comfortable being away from me and that peace of mind is such an important thing for all of us. My boys truly loved them both! The date-nights they offer are such an awesome bonus as well. I'm not very trusting with a random babysitter so it's so nice having a place they can go, where they are already comfortable, I know they are safe and it's honestly a great deal as well. We are so grateful to have found Kool Kidz.

We set another one, got the confirmation email again and AGAIN got a cancellation with no explanation as to why, we call and they tell us they had to cancel for another meeting. No call to explain and reschedule, no explanation in the email, just cancelled and we had to chase them down for an explanation.

Not only is Ms. Karla not the Director anymore, but the center itself has went to s***. I was promised things were changing with the new Director Launa & to expect great things in the near future. My daughter knew a few kids there & begged me to keep her at CFT. My daughter has been there for 2 months & NOTHING has gotten better, although her teacher Peggy is absolutely the best I have NOTHING positive to say about CFT. The staff are NOT professional (Wearing flip flops, basketball shorts & a dirty t-shirt) they have no clue what the other is telling the parents nor do they practice what they preach (rules, policy.. etc) My daughter is 5 years old & being told she must take a nap, I went to pick her up one day @ 5pm & she had been asleep since 1:30pm. I understand quiet time & maybe dozing off, but NO this is rediculous & completely messes up her routine. I have spoken to the staff repeatedly about her NOT taking naps & once again it has happen. I have put in our 2-week notice to leave CFT. In 2008-2009 when Ms. Karla was the director the classes were full, the staff was professional (actually taught instead of babysit) & everything was ran smooth. I am not blaming the new Director Launa who I still have yet to even meet, but CFT is not an environment that I want my child in any longer nor would I expect anyone else to. I recommend anyone who is considering enrolling their child in the care of CFT to go for the tour & judge for yourself & make sure you don't fall for the same promises that I did.

My 1-year-old has a life-threatening egg allergy, which the daycare was well aware of. Despite multiple reminders, he was repeatedly exposed to egg 2-3 times a week. That's not a mistake--it's negligence. Every day I dropped him off, I worried it might be the last time I saw him alive. On top of that, my 8-month-old's personal formula, diapers, and wipes--which I purchase out of pocket--were consistently used on other children. I was rarely given back everything I brought each morning, and I had to wait 15-20 minutes most days to pick them up because parents are kept in the lobby, unable to check on their own kids. I paid thousands of dollars a month to this facility, yet it felt like I had to supervise their staff every single day. My job is to work and provide, not to constantly fear for my children's safety in a place I trusted to care for them. Parents, be aware: if your child has any medical condition or specific care needs, look elsewhere. No family should have to live with this kind of anxiety, especially while paying a premium for care.
