Crazy Friday Roll.
Dee D.

Food deserves 4.5 stars but service is 2. This was one of the favorite sushi place with many choices of rolls. The appetizer was creative. I liked the Crazy Friday and Volcano Roll. The presentation was pretty and flavor was good. Here comes the BUT. I went there again with friends for sushi and reserved a table in advance. But when we got there, we were asked to sit at the Hibachi and told that we could still order sushi. The place we sat was cold and there was some cold air blowing into our direction, so we had to wear coats the whole time. We ordered some rolls and the waiter forgot one order. We asked several times and he told us that chef was making it. At the end we still didn't get our till after 30 min and everyone else was already done. I wonder if the chef went to catch the fish? So my friend cancelled his order and left the restaurant without eating anything. It was really disappointing and the waiter never apologized.

I always love getting hibachi steak and chicken, as well as tempura. The service was good, and the ambiance was pleasant.

Wasabi is always great whether I sit at a regular table or the hibachi. They're fast and courteous. The good is always on point.

This place is clearly popular because it's packed out on a Friday night. The best I can say is that the fried rice wasn't bad at all

Confirmed. Approved. Rounds for 3 Cold, refreshing Sapporo was flowing too. Given that hibachi rooms are usually a full-volume symphony of knives, fire, and birthday chants (in just over 2 hrs, we enjoyed 4 gongs!) -- I was pleasantly surprised. Even without sound-absorbing decor or cozy furniture, the noise level stayed lively but not chaotic. No shouting across the table, no sensory overload. A win. Our chef brought the right mix of skill and personality (entertaining without trying too hard), our server was on it, and drinks showed up consistently and on time -- which, let's be honest, is half the battle. Officially found a go-to outside of Manchester for sushi and hibachi. Cheers to good food, good company, and Saki shoots, but safely.

We decided to check out this new spot in Salem. When we arrived noticed a large counter in front of…read moreyou, 4 tables squeezed in to one end of the restaurant and one lonely table on the right side. All tables were occupied so we asked how long the wait was and were informed that maybe 30 minutes or we could get take-out. We opted to wait and were seated less than 10 minutes later. We were offered a laminated menu with several items blocked off. We selected to go for the spring rolls as an appetizer and I went with the pad thai wunsen with chicken. Spring rolls were hot and served with a very sweet sauce. They were ok but nothing stood out about them. I enjoyed my pad thai served with glass noodles. It had a few pieces of chicken that were tender. We were seated by the kitchen area and there was an open door to that area. I am unsure of some of the things that I was seeing including seeing pots on the floor and someone handling all sorts of food while wearing the same gloves. The overall vibe of the restaurant is confusing. It appears to be a counter service restaurant when you enter. It seems like there have room for more tables yet tables are close together in one area and plenty of space with one table on the other side. It would appear to me that they might want to consider re-arranging the entire place to accommodate more tables/guests.

The place is very cozy which offers dine-in and takeout. There are 5 tables here, for up to 14-18 diners. The menu offers a bit of Thai, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, & Vietnamese cuisines including noodle soups, rice & noodle bowls, appetizers, milk tea drinks, refreshers and iced coffee. I stopped by Sen Noodles for dinner recently and decided to dine-in since I was going to order one of their ramen soups. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen ($16.99 plus tax) which came out to my table in under 10 minutes. The hot bowl of ramen was comprised of soft ramen noodles, chashu pork, Naruto, boiled egg, ajitama, corn, sprouts, mushroom, scallions, nori, wakame in a light soy chicken broth. I added a bit of chili paste and pepper to the soup. The shoyu ramen had good flavors and very satisfying on a cold evening. I finished the entire bowl of ramen. The check was $18.43 with tax and before tip. Overall, I enjoyed the ramen here. I would try their pad thai and katsu bowls next time I stop in.
