Kind of a weird experience! I was out of town by myself on business and decided to give this…read morerestaurant a try. Checked out their menu and saw that they had hibachi dining, but they also had a menu to order from. When I walked in, I only found a few large hibachi tables, but no individual tables. Because I was by myself I really wasn't too interested in joining a group of people. So I asked someone if they had individual dining, where I could order off the menu. He said yes, and asked if I'd like to sit at the bar. The bar was small, maybe had four or five seats. I sat down and was given a menu. I sat there for 10 minutes, never got a water or had anybody come over to take my order. So I left! As far as I could tell, I think they only had three people working. All three of them at one time or another, during my 10 minute visit, were behind the bar mixing drinks. None of them addressed me in anyway. Point to this review, I'm sure the foods good. But not sure if this is a place for the non-hibachi crowed. Especially the individual diner.

He tells me he's not our server. Then he asked me what plates to clear, and I pointed to the big stack in front of me which he begrudgingly took. Then he turned around and kicked the door to get into the kitchen. Horrible attitude and rude. He was a young kid probably 20 at most, so I'm not sure what his role was in the restaurant. The food is also way too salty. I had the fillet and chicken combo and it was almost inedible. I think Sushi is a way to go because that was much better than the hibachi.

I never saw the sushi or any other offering filled once in 30-45 minutes we were there. The sushi was maybe 1/3 full when we got there and was gone when I went up a second time. The miso soup was just broth, no tofu, seaweed or green onion to speak of. I saw a family having hibachi which looked ok and obviously fresher than the buffet. The location itself is very dated. The lighting over the buffet is also terrible. I like to see what I'm putting on my plate. It looks like they tried to revamp the furniture themselves at some point and the whole inside is run down. If you're a sushi lover I'm pretty confident this won't be for you.

The crab rangoon was spectacular and had that really nice handmade quality to it. Service is basically counter only.
