My local shop was going to charge me a fortune but Craig came to the rescue, going through the other company's quote and explaining it to me and then offering my multiple options at different prices for the repair. Really disappointed in what used to be a great place for auto body work. Several years ago I was involved in an accident and had the repair work done by Warwick Valley Auto Body. The work was great, tyyhe staff friendly and caring and overall, it turned out to be a great experience. So, when a storm recently sent a large tree into the passenger side of my car, I naturally chose to have them do the work again. I took the car in for an estimate and all went well. I was told that the first opening they had would be August 27th - close to a one month wait. But, based on my past experience I thought that having the work done there would be worth the wait. I noted the appointment in the calendar on my phone while I was till on their lot. The Friday before I was due to bring the car in, I called to confirm the appointment. Craig told me that he had me in his book for the 20th - so obviously, there was some sort of miscommunication. Craig told me in what sounded like a bit of an abrupt tone, that he could get me in on September 4th and that he absolutely could not get me in beforehand because he was down a man in his shop already and way too busy. OK ... not too bad ... only a weeks delay ... I'm thinking that I can live with this.What happened next though sent the conversation into an unexpected tailspin. I mentioned (and here you'll have to trust me) in a completely non-confrontational, non-accusatory way that I was 'surprised' and 'disappointed' that if indeed I had been scheduled for the 20th, that no one there thought to call me to ask where I was or let me know that I was expected. The words 'surprised' and 'disappointed' must have really touched a nerve. Craig started yelling at me telling me that he had "way too many customers" and was "far too busy" to call anyone that didn't show up. He honest-to-god literally told me that if I was disappointed in anyone, the I should be disappointed at myself!!! Really?!! THIS IS HOW YOU TALK TO A REPEAT CLIENT?!!! I tried to (calmly) explain that in my mind, a phone call would have been a simple act of courtesy but Craig was too busy talking over me to hear. He kept repeating that he was busy and could get me in on the fourth in the most condescending, take-it-or-leave-it, I-really-don't -have-time-for-you kind of way that I'm pretty sure I've ever experienced from anyone at any business that I've ever dealt with. I told him 'fine - I'll see you on the fourth' .... and he hung up on me!!!! Needless to say that after taking 30 seconds to collect myself and get past the initial shock of this conversation, I called back to cancel the appointment and again ... he hung up on me!! I'm still not sure whether or not I should be more angry over this rude and really inexcusable interaction or saddened that I've lost a place that a few years ago, really seemed to take pride in making my experience with them one that I'd want to repeat. Could be that I caught Craig in a bad mood on a bad day ... we all have them. I would understand. But my phone has been silent ... no call to apologize for the outburst or to try to win my business back. I can't speak to the quality of their work these days but if you want to avoid a hair triggered temper or a really volatile and uncaring, dismissive and disrespectful interaction with someone who seems to have forgotten that customer service extends to simple things like making a follow up phone call or being courteous when a customer mentions being 'disappointed' then do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague! read more

I'm a new driver, just bought an old car from a friend and unfortunately got into a car accident not too shortly after. I called my insurance company (USAA) and they recommended this place. I'm glad to say that I was not disappointed. friendly customer, very supportive and understanding, I'm assuming they noticed I was a bit of a nooby. I brought two of my vehicles to Warwick Valley Auto Body the second week of April. Both needed minor body work and a few spots of rust removal and painting. After leaving both my phone number and email address, I was assured that I would get a quote for the work within a day or two. It is now July...still no quote, phone call or email. Apparently, they don't want my business. It would have been nice if they'd told me up front that they weren't interested in the jobs since I was going to pay for them out of pocket instead of going through insurance or that they were really backed up and it would be awhile before they could get to my vehicles. If you want a place that will put the car back together properly and fix everything this is not the place. My daughter picked up her car from here, drove it home and told me it seems louder than it used to. All I had to do was start the car and could tell the transmission was not longer up right from the grinding noise of the starter. My daughter hit a 6" curb and all they fixed was the rim, side skirt, replaced the fender. I jacked up the car and you could see all of the under carriage damage. Brought it back. Asked nicely to go through the car more thoroughly. Owner said they wouldn't be able to get any more money from the insurance company so it was on us. Called the insurance company and that was it the case at all. Tranny mount was bent and the bent it back. Told him no replace it. When you cold work a bracket back and forth it's a matter of time before breaks and insurance will cover it now and not later. So they replaced it and I went to pick up the car. Bumped into the side skit and it fell of. They didn't replace any of the clips. Drove the car out of the parking lot and right to another body shop cause it didn't drive right at all. Wheel bearings, CV/axle joints replaced along with a ton of the undercarriage plastics. So yeah I'll go to the second shop first next time. Bunch of hacks at Warwick. read more

Took my BMW Z4 here after hitting a deer. The damage was bad enough that i was surprised when the insurance company chose to repair the car rather than just total it out. Got it back from Warwick Valley Auto Body and there was no evidence the car had ever been damaged. The people over here are friendly, professional, and highly skilled. read more

where not to go!!!!! brought my daughters new 2020 ford escape there for body liftgate dent repair. the car looks worse then we brought it there! chris argued unprofessionally with my daughter & i. insinuating we were trying to get it done for free. i was willing to pay whatever they estimated. chris said, no worries, will just charge you for labor $150.00. we shouldve known that was too good to be true. chris feels because he didnt charge us for his crappy work that its ok! we were told his shop could fix the dent to 80% better. its 100% worse. chris called my daughter & i liars! shameful. im not able to post before & after pics here. they cracked the paint, used the wrong tool to pull & massage dent out. i still cant believe it! i didnt want to even give 1 star but had to to post this! read more
