I'm a senior citizen on a fixed income. My daughter gave me a gift card from Fischer's Auto Repair for a Christmas present this Dec. (2022). When I went to redeem the card for oil, lube and filter that my daughter had already paid for, the owner wanted me to pay 1/3 more on top of the value of the card. When I explained that I was under the impression that it was paid for, he took the bill, ripped it up right in front of me, and said in a sarcastic voice, "Merry Christmas." As I got up to leave, he said in a menacing tone, "you oughta be thanking me, lady instead of walking out the door." Frankly, at this point, I was a bit frightened of him and was shaking by his abusive tone. This was one of the most unpleasant experiences I've ever had. I do not recommend this place. read more

THE MAYO CLINIC OF CAR SERVICE! My Subaru suddenly failed and was towed to Fischer's. The computer indicated a typical issue, but didn't tell the whole story. John and Rick worked tirelessly for 2 days. It was a huge and successful diagnostic in deductive reasoning to identify the cause. If I could give 6 stars I would! What amazing service! My wife's car was dead in the garage one morning this week; stranding her with our three young children. I called Fischer's and out of the kindness of their heart, they drove over to my house to take a look. They not only identified the blown fuse in about 5 minutes, they used a piece of wire to temporarily bypass the fuse, got the car running in no time and even drove it back to the shop to order a new fuse and replace it. Sparing us the cost and hassle of a tow. The blown fuse also locked out the stereo system, but they knew just how to extract a code and called the manufacturer to reset it and get my wife's car running again also with a much needed new battery :) I will now only take my cars to Fischer's. I brought my 03 VW GTI 1.8 turbo to FISCHERS to have a simple thermostat installed. I was quoted $700 dollars. yep, you read that right. SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS. WTF ? Had a motorcycle tech install it in 2 hrs TOTAL- $160 bucks. This tech who knows and has never worked on a V Dub before. !!!!! So, they were going to charge me $350hr to put a SIMPLE part in. A MONKEY could install it. Want to get ripped off, head to Fischers where they will gladly rip you off and laugh all the way to the bank with your hard earned money. read more
