What a find! Warren's Harborview was fantastic from start to finish. The stuffed quahog with linguiça and melted butter was ridiculously good, and the clam chowder was honestly one of my favorite chowders of all time. We also got the fisherman's platter, which was excellent. The scallops and shrimp were especially tender, fresh, and perfectly cooked. And what a cool place! The building itself is gorgeous, with huge vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, plus a great bar where we really enjoyed our cocktails. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Then there's the setting, complete with a dock and gazebo. Great seafood, great drinks, beautiful space, genuinely friendly people. Warren's Harborview feels like one of those special Massachusetts spots you're really happy you found. Easy five stars. read more

When I arrived, I informed staff that I was accompanied by a trained service animal for PTSD. I was refused seating because my dog was not wearing a vest and I did not provide paperwork. Please be aware that under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Massachusetts public accommodation laws: Service animals are not legally required to wear a vest, harness, or special tag. Businesses are legally prohibited from demanding paperwork, proof of certification, or medical records. Staff are only permitted to ask two specific questions: 1. Is the dog required because of a disability? 2. What work or task has the dog been trained to perform? Demanding documentation or a vest and denying entry to a individual with a service animal is an ADA violation. The site of this restaurant is what drew us here. Looking out over Wareham harbor the view was lovely. This place has everything one might need for an event venue; outside seating, bear garden, fire pits, etc. We only had appetizers at this visit and were not impressed with the food, frankly. The appetizers were just OK, nothing special. The 'crispy' calamari weren't really crispy and the coating fell off in the ordinary marinara. The banana peppers were oddly served on the side rather than tossed in the the squid. Personally I like when they are fried along with the squid, but that's for another time. I don't know... it just wasn't right. We had OK but not unusually so chicken tenders and some mussels. The mussels were very tasty, I must say but perhaps a few more than 12 and 1/2 piece of ciabatta for $18 please. Service was prompt and friendly. We were given another table's check though. That happened to us the last time we went out for a bite as well. Probably won't go back. Great for a younger crowd who aren't looking for haute cuisine. read more

We have loved this restaurant since you first opened. We love to sit at the bar and meet new people. The bar staff has always been great and attentive. We have heard many people tell us that the service is terrible. We experienced this multiple times when sitting in the dining room, but never at the bar. The dinner service at the bar is always great. We have watched as our favorite bartenders have come and gone and notice that the servers in the dining room are also different every time we go. We were every Friday night customers for the longest time, but our visits have become less frequent over time. Tonight we came back because we missed the food. It was insufferably hot inside and we were told when we asked if they could turn up the A/C that the chef is the only one with the key. They said they would address it, but I don't think it was. I am only saying this because I want you to get better because we want this to be our go to spot. Right now, you are losing us. It would be really sad for this restaurant to fail, because you have the ability to be great. Right now, I am not sure if the management team has what it takes. I LOVED my stuffed scrod dish. Great lobster filling and sauce. Also our friends had great scallops in their entree. Excellent cocktails. Relaxed and comfortable outdoor upper deck atmosphere that feels both lowkey AND upscale.. BUtT JUST FYI to management - the clam "cake" app on the menu was disgusting and an absolute MISS. For one, they are round so croquettes or balls not cakes and the flavor was OFF. More filler than clam, just meh. I'd reconsider the recipe entirely or do a shrimp cake (not ball!). It failed compared to everything else which was excellent - on down to the kids tenders and even the chowder. AVOID THE CLAM CAKES. We went to Warren's for the first time this past weekend. 8 family members from out of town were interested in the menu & area. It wasn't busy at the time - 2pm. Everyone was friendly. Our server was good,maybe a little slow at times though he did get everything within a reasonable time. The appetizers were great! Mussels and Prime rib rolls! The entrees varied in quality and taste. Chowders were flavorful but not hot. The Boneless Duck was not boneless and very dry, skin wasn't crisp. The Stuffed Haddock was dry, the accompanying mashed were cold. The rest of the entrees were good! Scallops cooked perfectly; Tuna was great, especially the dressing; Fish n chips good; Salad with chicken very good; the Seafood Risotto was good, unfortunately the Calamari was inedible. We decided to have desserts & coffee, I would recommend the Fried Cheesecake & the Cobblers! It looks great inside, comfortable seating by the windows. Will we return? YES! read more

This place is gorgeous and has an awesome view with the deck right over the rivew. They also have a very cool pavilion but haven't tried that yet. I give the ambiance a 10. It's big beautiful and impressive when you walk in. Whoever designed and did the renovation did a great job. The first red flag was on a hot beautiful Friday evening I didn't see a table where the average age was under 65 years old. Typically not a great sign the food will knock your socks off. Started with drinks, my wife got a painkiller, it was all pineapple no coconut and not very flavorful. I got an old fashioned, i didn't want the vanilla bitters or maple listed on the menu so I asked for a "regular old fashioned." It arrived with bourbon, ice, a cherry and an orange peel, no simple syrup or noticeable bitters. We give the drinks a 4 out of 10. The calamari app looked amazing but lacked flavor and was a little chewy 5 out of 10 not bad but definitely room for improvement. I ordered the Linguine Vongole and presentation was 10/10 but unfortunately lacked flavor 6 out of 10. My wife ordered the Firecracker Salmon and it was bland 4 out of 10. Our server was kind and polite, could have been a little more attentive but overall good service 7 out of 10. This place has so much potential, I hope they improve the food and drinks. We have enjoyed Warren's Harborview for many months and have recommended it to friends, including restaurant owners that we have a relationship with. Last night was so disappointing that I had to write this review. We always sit at the bar. Last night the barmaids were not usual - not the happy, attentive individuals that are usual (with the exception of one who is always terrific and she brought us drinks, also got me some water since our waitress never returned). We ordered our usual mussel appetizer and it was awful. The broth, which has always been so excellent that we take the remaining broth home, was bland and not even similar to the usual, delicious one. The mussels - several were floating in the broth, which is expected and not an issue. But most were very chewy and some could not even be removed from the shell! Very undercooked!! We did advise our bar waitress but she offered no explanation nor alternative. Our meals finally arrived and my caprese salad with scallops was replaced by a tossed salad, no scallops. I called her over and advised her of the mistake and she answered that it was what I ordered! I told her it was not and told her what I had ordered. She looked in the machine and returned telling me that the scallops are seared, she wanted me to know. I have had that salad there with scallops several times, I know how the scallops are cooked. Meantime my husband began eating his dish, a ceasar salad that looked like yesterday's chopped lettuce. It took forever for our waitress to come clear our plates and hand us the check, so I asked someone else. It was extremely obvious that the head chef was not present last night nor some of the regular staff. It was not busy at all, many tables open, outside not busy, only the bar finally filled in. On our way out (it was early, maybe 7:00), the desk had many people hoping to be seated but were told the restaurant was full and had no open tables. Wow. I told my husband that there must have been a wedding or something that key staff was attending, including the head chef. We would be hesitant to return. Upscale menu choices served with thoughtful plating. Last time there I had the duck but noticed the menu has changed. Looking forward to teasing my palate again. Venue is very pleasant on an inlet. The building is large and I wondered if it was a rehabilitated mill of the past era. There is a delightful patio that I would like to visit in warmer weather but it is small so maybe for an early dinner. Everyone very friendly and eager to please. Drink and appetizer orders placed but was informed that they wouldn't do split checks for our party - on a Toast system! Food was average - had better at local seafood shacks. The restaurant is beautiful and has a great water view. The bar makes a good mixed drink. Service was less than okay. William, our waiter, didn't write anything down and got the order wrong. Never came back to see if our meals were okay or if we wanted another drink. Meanwhile he was out in the deck chatting it up with a customer who must be a 'regular'. We were there in the afternoon with only a handful of patrons. The food was okay. The turkey roll up had almost zero cranberry mayo so it was dry it was put into a panini grill so it was even dryer. Seems to be managed very poorly. The problems I have every time I come in seem to be consistent. The waiters and waitresses we've had have been very polite and the same goes for the bartenders as well. Food and drinks are good but too expensive for what they are. I paid $15 for 5 tiny chicken tenders that came with no blue cheese or the sauce we asked for. I asked for a manager who was very dismissive and seemingly annoyed to deal with us. Unfortunately I can name about 5 places in a 2 mile radius that I'd rather spend my money at. This place just doesn't seem like it will last. read more

We had a fabulous dinner. We ordered the general tso's chicken tenders and the French dip eggrolls. Both were delicious. We also had Cesar salads which were really good. For our main course we had the fish and chips, pasta, Warren's four corner's special and the miso salmon, all were fantastic. The strawberry shortcake shooters were delicious. The server was great. It is unfortunately true about what people are saying here -- food is expensive & nothing great. View & ambience deserve much better wait staff. Those behind the bar would rather flirt with eachother & be on their phone than check in with guests. One woman who waitresses there is awesome & goes above and beyond to accommodate for others' BS. It is too bad, as someone else mentioned - what a bold move hiring people like this with barely 8 months under your belt. What they say is true - what starts in chaos, ends in chaos & this place had so much drama surrounding their opening that I'd love to be hopeful about their sustainability, but seems doubtful -- I've worked in food service, server, catering, etc-- and there's something really wrong with this place. Sat at good sized bar, bartenders were excellent. Good drinks, and attentive. For dinner had lobster tortellini topped with blackened shrimp and edamame. Was very good and fairly portioned. Oyster as an appetizer that were fresh and delicious. Special shout out to Lilly the hostess who was very sweet and friendly. My only complaint is is is very loud inside. To say that the service was terrible would absolutely be an understatement that I can't even justify. When I looked up restaurants in Wareham this place came up and their menu looked amazing so I decided to pop in. The restaurant is big and has a nice interior. The salmon I had was good. That is all I positively have to say about this place. From start to finish the bar staff made me feel unwelcome and like my presence was a burden. I have never dealt with this level of disdain for a complete stranger in my life. I came into the restaurant I was greeted by the hostesses I asked to sit at the bar they directed me to it. The bar was relatively empty about 5 patrons outside of myself. At the time I sat there were 2 bartenders and 2 wait staff at the service bar. I waited a couple minutes thinking I would get acknowledged eventually. Matt the bartender never acknowledged me until I called to him and asked to be served. He walked past me before that to the two women seated at the end of the bar to ask them if they needed anything. It wasn't until he was walking back and I literally called to him that I got a drink menu. I then had to ask for a dinner menu. From then on I was treated like I was invisible at the bar. I genuinely feel like I could have gotten up and walked out. They probably would've continued their whispers in between refusing to even engage with me. Like me asking for anything was a problem. I watched a regular named Larry come in and get served immediately. I also watched a party sit next to me and get plenty of attentive service. I wasn't even aware that the other guy at the bar was a bartender until the party came in. I got my food and not once was I asked about anything. When I got my appetizer I had no utensils and I asked for them once again feeling like I was a burden. I had the nerve and audacity to unfortunately ask for another drink and was once again met with disdain and a sense of me being a burden. After I got my second drink I asked for a box and my check. I used to be a server I know exactly how annoying people can be. Considering that the piss poor service started the moment I sat down I definitely believe there is a huge staff issue. As a new restaurant it's bold to have bartenders who blatantly show how much they don't want to serve patrons especially during a recession when people are still coming out to support restaurants. There are so many other places in wareham and surrounding areas that have amazing service that nothing about going here would be justified. I had taken a break from reviewing restaurants and this terrible experience brought me out of retirement and motivated me to uplift restaurants that at bare minimum just make you feel welcomed in their establishment. The food was amazing. I had the seared scallops. No lobster bisque. I'm allergic. The scallops were perfectly seared and tasted great. The tiramisu was a special treat. The portion is even shareable but I ate it all. It was so good. This is a new venue. Open I believe less than a year. The service was a little slow but the servers were nice. We had a very nice lunch experience at Warren's Harborview today. Entering the restaurant and looking at the beautiful architecture was only the beginning. We started with the fried calamari , which was obviously fresh, not chewy and accompanied by a nice marinara. We each ordered a salad, seared tuna, roasted pear and Warren's Cobb. There was an ample amount of tuna on the salad and the dressing was perfect. Roasted pears were sweet and also plentiful on the salad. the Cobb was equally as delicious. Unfortunately there was no room for dessert. The pricing is reasonable and the service was good, as our waitress stopped back several times to check on our needs. Definitely a return trip for dinner. Really pretty building but lacks the homey feeling due to the open, empty space. Food was really good, but room temperature by the time we got it. No real veggie with the scallops either. Portions for all four meals were not abundant. The lobster linguine was good, but the lobster was chewy. Service was slow overall, but our waitress was pleasant. I asked another person at the front desk about my daughter's 18th birthday dessert to get the message to the waitress and surprise her, but the message never reached the waitress. Once I cued the waitress, she gathered other employees and they sang to her and gave her a torte with a candle. The desserts were delicious (if you're ok with cold crème brûlée). One of the worst restaurants to open up in Wareham in a very long time. Our server Shannon had a very snotty and snuck up attitude. She seemed annoyed we wouldn't order any alcohol. Restaurant was not that busy and food still took a long time to come out. Food is comparable to something you would order at Red Robin, but at least Red Robins service is better. Went for late lunch with a party of 5. The place was almost empty when we arrived, but for some reason it took a very long time to bring drinks. We ordered several sandwiches as well as shrimp and mussels, all of which were average at best. One fish sandwich had a piece of cardboard in it (!!!), so the waitress took it back. We asked for utensils but the waitress forgot, so I stole several sets from a nearby table. They were real metal wrapped in a cloth napkin, whereas the one set she had given us were plastic wrapped in paper -- she took the metal silverware back when she noticed. Then, to add insult to injury, a band that was truly awful started playing very loudly at the outdoor bandstand. Before we left, the waitress did apologize for the lousy service and I do give her some credit for that, but all in all it was a bad experience. read more
