The space was a nice open hang and there's snacks and games, and there is staff there, but the experience made me realize I prefer a guided human tour for some things, wine tasting being one of them. Prices also snuck up on us a bit, it's easy to lose count of how many you've had with the card reader. I was also a bit bummed to find that if you liked a wine you cannot purchase a bottle on site. But I'm glad I tried it and had fun.

I could have spent all afternoon there, reading and sipping. But I had places to be. If I stayed longer I might have tried some of the food. It's more in the line of light snacks than an actual meal, mostly cold, but they were more interesting than the standard charcuterie plate offered by similar venues, and I liked that they listed the country or state of origin of everything. For dessert, how about a slice of cheesecake from Chill's of Warren, RI - or a flight of 3 for $21! Beer lovers, don't fear Coastal Bubbles. Menu listed five, all of which I've never heard of, from Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, and Portugal, sure to interest the connoisseur. The menu that day included 25 wines by the glass. Their high-tech "Coravin System" keeps the open bottles fresh, and my Croation Matsuško was flawless in that respect. Port lovers might try the "100 Years Of Port Flight": the 10, 20, 30, and 40 year vintages of Van Zellers. I'll be doing that next time, with the cheesecake.

I walked out sore with myself for not sending it back, but the salsa was good and I was hungry. This is poor work, and I expect much better from a place like this.

They call themselves a wine bar, but it's more of a restaurant and nothing special about their wine list. When I googled the definition of a wine bar it mentioned they offer flights which they did not offer. I wonder how so many restaurants can call themselves actual wine bars yet by definition not follow the recommendations. Sigh! Anyways, we ordered some drinks and their Fried Mozzarella which was amazing. The sauce was very well balanced. Then we shared their special meatball and ricotta pizza. It was not cooked to our liking, but still good. We had a great time here and would come back to try other menu items. If you are looking for a good lunch or dinner spot in N. Wine was still available in 3oz. and 5oz. pours, and we found a couple that we really enjoyed. We received fantastic service at the counter, and we were checked on several times while we were seated (we were lucky enough to get the plush chairs by the window). Their full wine list is extensive and interesting. Depending on from what direction you approach, navigation might give you a very scenic route along the circular "road." Parking is spread out in that area, and one-way arrows exist, but not enough of them.
