I certainly didn't until I treated…read moremyself to an extra cozy Boston Interiors sectional and the sofa portion wouldn't fit up my front or back staircase. Whoops! I had already been waiting two months for delivery, so to say I was disappointed is an understatement. Then the panic kicked in. Since it was a custom sectional, I would get majorly dinged if I returned it. But what other options were there? That's where Melo and Sons came in. The delivery guy put me on the phone with his manager to talk it over. Yes, returning the sectional was an option, as was taking out my dining room window to bring the sofa portion in that way (hell no!) Or... I could have some pros disassemble it at their warehouse then reassemble it in my living room. Of my three options, the third was the winner by a longshot. As I was the first delivery of the day, I patiently waited until Melo and Sons opened then gave them a ring. Joanne immediately answered and put my nerves at ease. It was obvious I wasn't the first numpty to purchase a too big piece of furniture that needed saving by them. After providing her all the requested information, I had a delivery date for about three weeks out. By the time my Boston Interiors salesperson called to discuss the failed delivery, everything was already tucked and tied with Melo and Sons. When the big day finally arrived, Mike and George showed up right on time and quickly got to work. They laid down moving blankets to protect the floor then brought up the disassembled sofa in several carefully wrapped pieces. Aside from being the consummate professionals, they were funny to boot. It took them less than two hours to reassemble the sofa and at long last reunite it with its other half. That evening, after three long months, I finally got to relax on and enjoy my sectional in its full glory. All thanks to Melo and Sons and their niche specialty.

I emailed Melo & Sons and quickly received a response with a quote from Joanne, who was extremely nice and helpful. An appointment was scheduled on 1/16/26 between 10-12. However, they came early, which was greatly appreciated. The two men that showed up were two for the nicest people. Both men had that leather sectional disassembled, brought up the stairs and reassembled in a few hours. After all their hard work, you can't even tell that the sectional was taken apart and put back together. NO scratches, dents, or rips. There work was impeccable. I sincerely want to Thank them for everything, because my couch would still be sitting in my hallway if it wasn't for their help.

I know excellent service when I experience it. This review is for the exceptional service I received when using Atlantic Marble & Granite, in Falmouth. We were doing a very needed remolding of our kitchen after over 35 years of use. During the remodel, I contacted three countertop companies and visited each one of them. From the three quotes, I received the best price from Atlantic. Not only did I get follow up with them on their quote, one of the companies never followed up with us at all. That made my decision easier. We met with a very lovely person at Atlantic, Bella, short for Izabella, and she was amazing from the start. She was knowledgeable and very patient as she helped us pick out the perfect color. We gave her all of the measurements and she took it from there. Within just a short time, they were out doing a template and a week later, the counter was ready to be installed. Unfortunately, because of issues with our cabinet makers, they had to hold it for 3 weeks. No problem they said. When the time came, they came out installing our new quartz counter. They were very courteous and professional. I was amazed the counter fit like a glove, especially where it had a jog in it and they were able manufacture it with no seam. We were very happy and the new counter looks amazing. If you ever need any type of marble, granite, quartz work, I would strongly advise you to check them out. I'm sure you will not be disappointed. She was careful not to overwhelm me with too many choices and even suggested a slab which was in stock which saved us some time & money. I really appreciated the template process they used. I was able to see what the counter flow would look like before they cut the slab. Most importantly, they removed the old countertop on installation day! He finally agreed to meet me at Mid Cape in Orleans and then tried to get me to overpay by $4500 on a $17,000 bill and told me he couldn't give me a receipt. When the windows arrived the first one was the wrong size. He's the one who measured the windows I was replacing. The next shipment was missing windows. The next shipment had four windows when five were ordered. When I told the drivers how awful I thought he was they all said that it was not the first time they'd heard this from customers and that it wasn't even the 10th time. My other experiences with Mid Cape have been great.

I see some of the bad reviews on here and think maybe those people need some meds or another hitter…read morefrom their pipe! I have been here hundreds of times and never had 1 bad experience. Great service and staff and they always have what I need or a substitute that works just as well, I think some of the people who come in expect to get the royal treatment they got when Cape Cod had 1/4 of the population it has now, unrealistic expectations lead to disappointment. Everybody is a big time contractor/builder/carpenter/painter/landscaper on the Cape so they think. Get a grip and some patience before you show up thinking your the most important person in the room at all times! Your just another face on the Cape now it isn't 1997 anymore so stop cryin about it!
