I would be cautious if booking a party…read more It's very hard to rate because the facility is a 5 star, I don't know about the gymnastics aspect, but for having a party, it's a 0! They are new, (open about 2 months) so they are still learning, and there is quite a bit that they need to learn. My first issue, pricing. $450 for a party of 10 kids. That does not include the adults. I was planning on feeding my adults. They wanted $60 extra for the additional seating/aka bigger room (which was fine) on top of that they wanted $9 per adult, AND then the cost of the additional food for the parents!!! So that's an extra $200 for only 10 parents. Once they found out, I was not paying for the adults. They refunded my $60 back threw me in a small room and had all my adult standing along the wall. Don't ask me why they just didn't keep the $60 and provide a bigger room with seating for my parents. It didn't make any sense. If you have adults in your party, they have to stand?! Secondly, they control the entire party, which is great if that's what you're looking for. 1:You're not allowed to bring a cake, they offer cupcakes and when they sang happy birthday, they didn't even put a candle in it. SMH 2: decoration, they have two options, sports or princess, if you don't pick one of their options, then they charge you additionally 3: I ordered a popcorn machine as an add-on. The popcorn is popped while the kids are playing and they place it in bags on the table which I felt it was just there, no one cared. It would be exciting for the kids if they said popcorn time and every kid stood in line with a bag and they scoop some in their bag. 4: they give you two hosts and you have to tip both of them which a party with 10 kids does not need two hosts. In my opinion, they need to step back and let the parents feel like they have control over their child's party. All of the parents that attended my daughter's party had the same views & opinions. I thought it was gonna be a great venue and everyone would wanna have their child's party there. All of my party guests said it was a waste and they were not impressed. On a sidenote, the manager in charge (I think her name was Lauren) chased down a mother in my party because I did not pay for her for open gym. She was watching some of the girls not participating, but she had her mom sign a waiver, (which is understandable)and then proceeded to charge her $20 for watching less than 40 minutes of open gym. With how much I paid and how bad it looks on your facility. A better approach would have been to tell the girl, she didn't have a waiver signed, and they don't allow anyone to watch so have her come out of the gym. Positive experiences hardly get recognized, unfortunately negative experiences stick.

It doesn't dismiss our bad experiences here even though mostly out of the owners/ coach's control. my daughter enrolled into the gold xcel program last summer as a 10 year old. I gave her a text/ call only phone for emergencies to bring to class. A group of girls on the team( 2 and 3 grades OLDER than her!)asked for her number and harassed her over days via text. My daughter was nothing but kind. She was also harassed enrire classes by same girls in person. I screenshoted the texts to send to coach/owner so it was undeniable. Gym had a meeting with the girls families and I was apologized too. Coach said the harassment was jealousy of skills. My daughter broke both bones in her arm very badly during a practice while doing a flip off bar. I met ambulance there and was told by my daughter and another student my daughter landed the flip on her feet and arm hitting bar was cause of break. You sign a waiver and assume risks when doing gymnastics so I did not blame coaches/gym and was kind. I kindly emailed Olympia after incident asking any coach input how my daughter broke her arm so that if she returns to gymnastics she could learn from mistake and not repeat it. Almost 2 WEEKS later , a coach called me and said she saw my daughter fall and she broke arm on ground. I told coach it doesn't really matter but since my daughter's story did not match is there video they could review? Coach told me the " No. No video evidence. cameras don't reach to the back of the gym where the bars are" So I was lied to or they don't have cameras in the back of the gym which is a safety risk on many levels to me.

While the gymnastics part was fun, I was bullied by another kid in the camp for several summers and staff never did anything about it. This person tried to drown me during a field trip to the YMCA, locked me in the bathrooms and wouldn't let me leave until I did what she said, jabbed at my eyes, and verbally abused me. My parents were clear with the staff that the bullying needed to stop and needed to be monitored, but the staff did not care. This has forever left a bad taste in my mouth about Mills, making it a scary and uncomfortable memory. I would hope they strive to give every kid a good experience from now and instead of leaving them with lasting trauma. Do better.

The new time didn't work for us, and the only alternatives were on completely different days. When I asked for options, the so-called manager called back and gave me two days to use the makeup classes or lose them. Two days, for classes I already paid for. When I asked for a little grace since I had just found out about the change, she refused and condescendingly reminded me that she "didn't have to" refund me for July, a payment I had made less than 24 hours earlier before being told about the schedule change. Meanwhile, my husband took our daughter to class the same day we were told about the change, and no one said a word to him in person. I paid $250 for two classes, got zero flexibility, and was made to feel like I should be grateful for a partial refund they never should have taken in the first place. They clearly care more about squeezing every dollar out of parents than providing good communication or customer service. Completely unprofessional and borderline scammy. Beware. IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS RESPONSE: Your response is a perfect example of the problem. You claim to "do your best," but the facts tell a different story. You asked for payment before disclosing a major schedule change, then gave us just two days to use makeup tokens for classes we had already paid for, all while refusing any flexibility when I requested a simple extension. Offering a refund after collecting money under false pretenses is not a favor, it is damage control. You also did not offer to save the makeup tokens for future use. I specifically asked for that and was told no. And no one mentioned a word to my husband in person during the next class, which shows how poorly communication is handled across your team. Parents deserve transparency and respect, not excuses after the fact. I paid $250 for two classes, received no real options, and was treated like I should be grateful just to not lose more money.
