I have spoken to so many of them and they're all so personable and caring and take the time to get to know you on a personal level which I admire. The manager Lauren is fantastic and is so knowledgeable and personal trainer Alex has taught me so much in just the two sessions I've had with him, so grateful!!

Extremely Misleading Sales Tactics & Unprofessional Experience…read more I walked into Edge Fitness today after speaking with a representative named Blake yesterday. I was literally online completing my membership purchase when he called me -- told me to stop, said he had better "in-house deals," and even mentioned a "buy one year, get one year free" offer. He asked me to come in Saturday, and we set an appointment for 12:30 PM. I rearranged my day, left my kids at home, and showed up exactly as scheduled. When I asked for Blake, I was told the deal he promised was "gone" and that the price had actually gone up from what I saw online. Not only was the $19.99 mid-tier no longer available, but the price was now $22.99... and suddenly the "one year free" became "three months free," which could "change tomorrow." Why would you call me, stop me from purchasing online, tell me to come in for a better deal, and then act like none of it ever happened the next day? The young woman who tried to help afterward was polite, but the damage was done. The experience was misleading, dismissive, and honestly embarrassing for the gym. This isn't how you treat people who walk in ready to do business -- especially someone recovering from spinal surgery who explained they're just trying to get back into fitness with basic stretching. This felt like a bait-and-switch situation, and if this is how Edge Fitness trains staff to operate, corporate needs to know. Completely unacceptable.

I really love Life Time! I am seriously having a blast going…read moreswimming several times a week. That alone is worth the monthly payment. Although a bit steep at $75/month - there was no start up fees (New Years Special) and no contracts, so you can cancel at any time. The club is gorgeous, huge, clean, and the staff are very friendly. The staff talk to you like they've seen you coming to the club for ages, it's a very warm and friendly environment. They are very prepared in terms of Covid 19 - cleanliness, safe distancing, and all that jazz. I just really enjoy my time spent here!

The Service is decent. Here is the Not-so Great..I pay well over 200 a month for both my wife and myself....OVERPRICED..thats 2500 per year...talk about inflation. I am over 65 and asked about the Silver Sneaker program...(they said they do not participate even though every other major Gym in the area does)..WHY NOT ? I am also a retired Veteran...no discount for that either..even though other gyms do. I am thinking of leaving due to the price.. but hate to do it since I have been a member for 25 years. Joined the first week the Gym opened in the year 2000. Here is my email... john.whitworth3763@gmail.com .. I would like to speak to the staff. Lets see how good their service is..!

I joined Sola shortly after it opened. I had been searching for the perfect gym for what felt like…read moreforever, but I knew I was going to join Sola before my tour had even ended. Sola used to be perfect- clean, free (included in the membership) fitness classes, fitness trainers ready to assist, a smoothie bar with post-workout snacks, a pool, etc. The gym is very clean, and there is a very large variety of equipment that is available for use. There is an indoor track for running/ walking, that loops around the perimeter surrounding all of the exercise equipment. There are 3 studios for the variety of classes that are offered. These are always clean and well maintained. Yoga mats, exercise balls, cycling bikes, etc. are provided for use during these classes. The locker rooms are sanitary, and are regularly maintained by the staff. Shampoo, body wash, towels, mouthwash, q-tips, lotion, and blow dryers are all provided for use in the locker rooms. On the main floor, through each of the locker rooms, there is a jacuzzi, a therapy pool, and a regular pool with lap lanes. On the weekends Sola hosts family days where small children are allowed to splash around in the pool. Ever since the new management has taken over, there have been some obvious changes- not all necessarily for the better. The first, most noticeable change was a price increase in the membership. If it goes up any more I honestly don't know if the price can be justified. The fitness trainers seem to work fewer hours or are just harder to find. They are definitely knowledgable, and want to work with you and get to know you. There used to be at least 2-3 fitness trainers on the floor at any given time, but today I'm lucky if I can find one! The original instructors for the Zumba classes seemed to be a lot more lively and the classes were more full. There was such a great variety of music that everyone- all ages- could listen to and dance to. I felt like I was definitely getting a workout. Nothing against the current instructors, but i've slowly stopped attending the fitness classes because they've gotten boring. I haven't tried any of the paid classes yet, but maybe that's where all the fun has gone... The most annoying part of the change in new management was their social media/ membership outreach campaign. When I signed up I made the mistake of giving them my cell phone and my home phone. For at least a 2-week period I would get non-stop robo calls about joining Sola. I was already a member! This giant marketing push has really detracted from Sola's core values, and has really left a bad taste in my mouth. Please bring back the old Sola!

I've been enjoying going--lots of different equipment focusing on different muscle groups, great classes, and the staff are kind and helpful! The gym is locked 24/7 and only members or staff have access. This makes me extremely safe and at ease when I'm working out early in the morning or late at night and I am one of the few people at the gym. Although the HotWorx app itself could use some updating I do really like that it shows each level you hit based on how many calories you've burned. I feel like tracking my levels and my calories burned compared to the local leadership board motivates me each time I'm in the gym!

Even though HOTWORX has the same requirements, I don't have to wear my mask when working out. My work out is in an enclosed sauna pod, it's just me. I have tried Hot Cycle (sauna temperature is between 125-130f) a 15 minute exercise that normally isn't to difficult then add the dry heat. It is rough. Like a knucklehead after doing Hot cycle, I then tried hot yoga. Mistake, huge mistake. I nearly passed out about 10 minutes in. Hot yoga is 45 minutes and after doing hot cycle for 15 minutes may have been to much. You need an appointment which is easy thanks to their app and its open 24 hours.
