I'm really sad to be posting this. We had a very bad experience here. I think they have bad…read morebusiness practices and their classes for children are overfilled and not engaging at all. I have a son who has done aerials for a full year elsewhere. Because of Agora's policy and the way the children's classes are set up, they have the first and second tiers simultaneously. We were told that they would see if he would be advanced enough to place in the second tier within a few weeks. I've never noticed anyone actually take a second to evaluate any of the kids, but I have noticed some of the tinier, stretchier girls have been place with the second group. I get that girls are typically more limber than boys; but he is strong and skilled on the equipment.. Needless to say he's still in the first tier. So every week we go and every week he stands in line for approximately 30-40 minutes just to hang on a piece of silk or a trapeze or a Lyra for 15 seconds. We do this about 7-8 times and the hour is up. $160 for this for 8 weeks? It's disappointing. I guess my hopes were too high. Oh the other thing they get ya with is that in order for your child to be in the performance they have to register for the first course and that ends before the program, so then you must enroll in the next 8 weeks. We will head to Eastern Market to check out the group down there. Pros: clean Offer kids classes Staff is friendly

I am 50 years old, overweight, and about as flexible as a broomstick. I have had ZERO dance or gymnastics training in my life. I've never done the splits or even a pullup. My upper body strength is lacking. And sometimes I lack confidence in myself. In just a mere 3 months of Lyra classes, Aerial Dragonfly had me performing a wide variety of moves, poses, and flows in the Lyra, and they helped me develop so much conviction in my abilities, my body type, and my age. I became stronger and much more confident, and with the encouragement of my instructors and new friends, I participated in their spring Student Showcase. I was literally performing in front of a large, supportive crowd after THREE MONTHS of learning and practicing at the Aerial Dragonfly. It was amazing! I've *never* been in a community that was so instantly supportive, fun, encouraging, and gentle. I've spent time with 4-5 instructors and learned something new every time. I've made so many friends and I look forward to seeing them every week. We really support each other and enjoy each other...from all walks of life. You have nothing to lose. You can sign up for one class at a time. You'll be amazed at what you can accomplish, and the incredible community you can become part of. Your age, your experience, your body type-none of these things will hold you back if you just give them a try. You CAN fly!

I'm proud to support a woman owned business and a Veteran owned business. I've taken two lessons so far: Lyra (aerial hoop) and trapeze. Both of my lessons have been with Dari. She is one of the owners and she's amazing! Such a patient and kind teacher. I felt instantly welcomed in the space. Such a spacious and beautiful studio! There is a parking lot too. This studio offers a variety of modalities, including aerial hammock, aerial yoga, pole dancing, Lyra, trapeze, aerial silks and more. I plan on trying everything! Plenty of mats and things to stay safe. It's easy to book classes online through their website, and they offer packages too. These are private lessons, and the prices are very reasonable. It's amazing how much I get to try and learn in one hour! Such a gift to receive one on one training like this. Wow! Fantastic workout and so much fun. I'm really grateful I found this studio. I highly recommend coming here.

It seems she is not interested in any form of constructive criticism to respect her own brand, as I have just dealt with the exact same experience customers from 2017 and 2018 have dealt with. I've been a gracious fan of Monica's for about 15 years and recently I ordered a 4 pair pack of her dancer socks. I really wanted some and I really wanted to support HER business and get some of her swag. I placed my order on 10/17/22. In all honesty, before my purchase she does explain that prep and shipping can take 6 business days or longer, and I can understand.. i imagined she is a small business and black women do deserve to be human and not robotic. I waited 2 weeks before contacting her via email as I could not find any customer service phone number any where and received no update about my order, even though the receipt email states I should be on the look out for an email when my order is ready. Even on my emailed receipted that I was indeed charged for the product, there is no information outside of an email to contact. The auto generated email stated I should expect a response within 72 hours. That was one business week ago now, 3 weeks total with no response or information about my order. I am so disappointed in Monica's business practices or lack thereof. I've read some of her lengthy reviews, and try to empathize with her experience: the issue is, she does not seem to empathize with the experience, OR LACK OF EXPERIENCE her clients and customers are getting. All those words, and nothing real is being said or any accountability taken. It feels like such a shame, I understand it isn't personal, she is a human and has the right to function however she so chooses and I have to respect that. And, also I have the right to express my dissatisfaction in my experience of her brand.

She told me to fill out the "refund request form" on her site... which I've already done twice..and yet SOMEHOW she still can't do her duty and refund people's money.
