You'll find candles for almost any ailment, predicament or situation. Baby mama drama, legal trouble, help winning the lottery, etc. Some of them are printed on the jar but other signs are taped onto the jar (a little low-rent for my tastes). Room for improvement includes pricing all the candles. I picked one up without a price tag and it was $8 when I got to the register, when I saw many others priced around $6 or $7. It was a gift for a friend so not a big deal. Discount Candles is a really fun shop whether you believe the hullabaloo or not. They offer a wide variety of candles, incense and oils to choose from, and they've got a large (free!) parking lot to the right of the store for your convenience. Second, I took a Hatha class and mentioned to the teacher that I just started Ashtanga yoga last year and the studio closed. She said very sarcastically "This is not Ashtanga yoga!" Which made me feel unconformtable. Third, the class had 0 sight lines. You cannot see the teacher. Direction was very wishy washy. Fourth, I won't be coming back.

Her husband is very smart as well and explained why things were created and formed a certain way. He had a lot of fun explaining fossils to my younger sister, and she was very intrigued. Their two children work at the store as well, so I was happy to support a famly business. They have chakra and wiire wrapping classes. If you look them up on facebook they provide the date and times. They also provide 10% off coupons often. Their son makes organic himalayan salt scrubs. Their daughter does Reiki classes at the shop. Julia makes a lot of beautiful jewelry and I believe she can custom things as well. They also have dig trips. I had asked about them and they provided me a sheet. The trip to go with them is free, and you only pay for your own hotel and food. They will drive everyone to a particular site and help people find amazing stones. They have a lot of photos online and I have always wanted to do it. They want to make their customers happy and treat them like family. They have many different kinds of large crystals, tumble stones, and medium sized crystals. You can find all kinds of fossils. They even have dinosaur eggs and such. We got to make 2 items during the 3 hour handbuilding class and it flew by- we could've stayed another hour or so. I saw classes at other studios that only lasted an hour and I'm so glad I went with Sugar Hill Clay. It was $180 for up to a 4-person private class and worth every penny. We were able to book a Saturday class with Chen (who was so talented, knowledgeable and set such a calming presence) and would do it again! After you make your items, Chen will glaze them with your color preference and fire them. Once they're ready, they let you know when you can pick up the pieces! 1000% would recommend- hidden gem!
