I had such a great experience here! I've actually been eyeing this spa for a while and finally got the chance to come in with my sister. It definitely lived up to my expectations. We arrived close to closing time, and instead of rushing us or turning us away, they still welcomed us so kindly. We never felt like an inconvenience. Lisa and Nattaya were absolutely amazing. They were so attentive throughout our entire visit and made sure we were comfortable from start to finish. Their professionalism and genuine care really made the experience special. Everything was so relaxing, and the service was completely worth it. We left feeling comfortable, refreshed, and very satisfied. I'll definitely be coming back! The only small suggestion I have is that if the spa closes at 9:00 p.m., it might be helpful to be a little more consistent with that. Other than that, I highly recommend this spa. I went in with so much tension and knots, and they really took their time working through everything. They also did a lot of stretching, which helped so much. Booked a last minute 90 min Thai/Swedish combo massage with Jimmy. One of the best massages I've experienced in my life. Great pressure, he feels where you're tight, and works it all out. I'm so pleased to have found this spa that opened up recently in Playa del Rey in the historic building on Culver blvd where Tanner's Coffee faces the street. I'm a veteran with disabilities and have lower back problems. To get a really therapeutic massage on my back there feels heaven sent. The spa just recently renovated and it is just beautiful. The atmosphere, surroundings and rooms are immaculate. I thought I'd try it out and afterwards felt like my back and neck were without any stiffness or pain. I know this is a chronic condition but I will definitely be back for more treatments. Places of this caliber are usually much more expensive and this is only $70 for one hour for a deep massage. There are 3 or more certified masseuses. Ask for May, though I'm sure they are all well qualified! read more

I've been disabled since 2005 due to an accident and post surgery, I have been to therapy after therapy along with chiropractic care and massage tending to my chronic pain. As you may know, finding a great massage therapist is difficult and finding one at a reasonable price is just as difficult. This spa has recently opened and they have hired my two favorite therapists Mae & Jenny so you know I'll already be a repeat customer for life. Not only that, but the price at $70/hr is a bargain when other places that have this level of quality are $100-150 per hour. Trying to find the place was a little difficult. They're in the same building as Tanner's coffee, but it's the last door around the corner on s vista del mar lane. When you first walk in it's got a very nice vibe with earthy tones to already promote relaxation. You need to fill out the intake form to inform them of your trouble spots with a graphic that helps minimize any language barriers and is friendly for people with communication disabilities. A nice stone wall lines the hallway to the room. The room is sized very nicely where it's not cramped and I don't have to worry about hitting the wall and making a ruckus when getting undressed. The massage table was long and has a face hole. Some may prefer the cradle to the hole, but I don't. At 6'1" the length of the table was a pleasant surprise because I've always had my ankles over the edge but not this time! No hyperextention of the knee for me anymore! The rooms are temperature regulated and the table was warm and cozy promoting even more relaxation. The sheets were a little stiff, but that's expected when the sheets are brand new. Each room has a towel warmer and an oil warmer so there's no need for the therapist to have to leave the room & prep anything, taking time away from the massage. The owner did an excellent job of considering what makes a good massage experience: Hiring the best therapists, including the right ambience and keeping the price down to allow for repeat business. I will be referring friends & family. Remember to tip your therapist well! It's a very physically demanding job. read more

I am sorry to dissapoint other reviewers but my experience this third time was not as pleasant as the first ones. I was expecting a combination massage--first the Thai massage over the sheets, and later the Swiss massage with oil over the skin. For some reason the masseuse I got seemed to be either tired or just in a hurry. She proceeded to do the Thai part directly over my skin directly and in a disorganized manner began rubbing different body parts--opposite limbs with no sequence of the massage I was expecting. Then, she applied Tiger Balm all over my body without asking me if it was ok. Then, she began yawning in top of me, and at the end, she rushed me to get dressed and she did not use a hot towel to get rid of the coconut oil and the Tiger Balm she had used in my body. So, I left sticky in the middle of this hot summer and smelling to the balm she had applied. When I was going to pay she told me that the tip was 30% for a combo massage. I looked at the card reader and 30% was the only option for tip unless I tried to customize it, which I did, but she told me, it should be 30%. Perhaps they don't understand that tip is voluntary and it is supposed to reward a good service. At the end, I just gave her the 30% tip she demanded. I arrived home and I had to immediately wash all the clothes I was wearing and clean the car seat because the smell to the Tiger Balm was overwheelming. Perhaps I just made the mistake of booking this message in the evening. In any case, I don't think I will return. So, the illusion that the prices are low is just that: illusion because with the 30% tip is just the regular price for that kind of massage. My advice to others, bring cash instead of using the credit card reader. Sadly, this place had the potential to be a great massage spot. read more
