The owner Richard is more willing to go off of "his gut" than actually be willing to talk to you. His exact words being "I'm gonna go with my gut on this one" I'd been going to Paradox for years by this point with no problems as far as I was aware. At no point was I approached and asked about the complaints made about me. If you wanna run a store off of your gut than open a restaurant. Don't play at Paradox if you have any kind of social issues. They won't bother to ask you anything.

You have to go inside and up a set of stairs, then down the hall to Comic Junction's suite. It's very low grade and nothing at all fabulous so it's easy to feel like you're in the wrong place. But what Comic Junction lacks in visual appeal it makes up for in the many different comics and knick knacks it sells, and the super sweet owner. He is totally a big comic nerd and it was awesome. I had so much fun looking through everything and chatting with him about some different issues and hero's and such. He really lights up when you start talking comics- you can just see how much he loves everything comics and his passion and enthusiasm for what he does. He's in the right business, that's for sure. And definitely check out the extremely special edition comics he keeps behind the register- sooo uber cool. Like I said, my inner nerd really showed out here. The customer was on a phone call and was not being disruptive whatsoever, but the woman snapped at her "You can take your phone call outside and come back when you're done." Excuse me? I dont know any store owner who would speak to a customer this way when they weren't being disruptive and had barely walked inside. The owner was incredibly rude, condescending, belittling and acted with a "better than you" attitude. Its a BOOKSTORE, not her own personal sacred library collection. They have all been friendly, knowledgeable and eager to assist me. They have an ever changing selection of fabric and notions at expected retail prices for quality quilting supplies and fabric. They have an onsite repair person who does excellent work. They likewise have a great showroom of quality sewing cabinets and sewing machines. They have a great selection of classes as well as open sewing classes for you to learn and get to know local quilters. They even have a fun sewing retreat several times a year. I have taken several classes and attended to sewing retreat. They do not disappoint and are reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

I had made my great nephew a quilted book Pillow that needed one 6" seam r-sewn to restore the handle. Unfortunately I do not travel with my sewing machine. I was hoping that someone at the Quilt Shop could possibly help me repair it (a six inch seam is all) or let me use one of the floor demo machines to sew it. When I asked I was told NO it's against store policy. Needless to say I was horribly disappointed. The clerk said at least I knew my Nephew loved the pillow for the handle to come off. As a quilter that has visited quilt stores all across the country this is one I would not recommend.
