i came in one hot day and when i tell you it was hot in there IT WAS HOT. I was sweating and i was expecting to walk into somewhere air conditioned but nope none at all. With that being said I got to wonder how good that is for all the records in the store. I walked around trying to find something good but all they had were used vinyl and tiny selection of new vinyl. I then looked in the back and saw records laying in crates horizontally and at that moment I left. as a vinyl collector it was a nightmare. Stopped by just to check this place out. Great spot for just about any genre of LP you want. They have all kinds of vintage record and recording devices. One side of this place has all kinds of board games and toys! The staff is super friendly, the establishment is pet friendly and if you want to hear a record they will play it. Owners are pricks. They like to talk down to you like you're stupid and I have seen some pretty ridiculous prices on things that dont cost that much. The owner himself is often rude in the store, even more so when running into him outside of the store, but that's another thing. Says they pay the best in town for used vinyl but that is a known lie. A great space downtown, with a huge vinyl selection and a friendly, knowledgable owner. They have a large section of gamer stuff, too. If that's your deal, then I'd check them out. They have a pretty good selection as far as records go - mostly used though. I bought 2Pac's "All Eyes On Me" and the guy working decided to belittle me about it because "Biggie is obviously the better rapper". Funny thing is they didn't have any of his records, yet they had several of 2Pacs! I could tell the debate wasn't going to go anywhere - he claimed to have broken up with his girlfriend over the same debate. Just wanted to buy a record, got a duel. As a photographer I have never been so insulted. I came here three months ago while doing a photoshoot for a clothing brand and received permission from whomever stood behind the counter to take photos wherever I pleased within the store so long as I give them credit on whichever social media it was posted on. And rightfully so I understand that they are running a business and would like whatever kind of exposure they can get and I'm happy supporting small businesses in any way I can. These photos mentioned have not been published but nonetheless I received permission. I returned today while wandering in and out of stores, camera in hand of course. I asked a young woman if i could take a portrait of her as she was leaving; she happily replied yes. and had her stand in front of the door for the photo. After taking the photo I proceeded to wander a bit and upon asking a question about a camera sitting on a top shelf I was stopped and told how rude I was to take a photo of the lady, of course I tried to explain that I was told I had permission to take photographs within the store but was interrupted every time I opened my mouth. I was told I wasn't raised correctly, and that my generation wasn't taught respect, basically calling me an idiot, but still I tried to explain and still I was interrupted. I was told I could risk driving away business and that I interrupted a customer who had already completed her transaction. I completely understand why he was upset but there was no need to insult me and guilt trip me about how little money the business as a whole makes all while not allowing me to explain or even apologize. I wish I could recommend this store the interior is truly beautiful and retains a wonderful collection of records and toys. But alas if you're looking for good kind people this isn't it. read more

Fine Records, but terrible service and electronics. I bought a stereo setup there 2 speakers, amplifier and a turntable for $720. (Big $$ IMO) You'd think for that amount it would be quality and dependable. Not the case. It's been back to the store 4 times and still doesn't work properly. Really bummed about my investment and feel like I've been had. Not good business from a small business standpoint. Buyer Beware!! read more
