I took the one back that I had bought and ordered online with pick up instore and 10% off the online half price, so I got a £30.00 Jumper for £13.50. I had to go to Braehead a few times but it is Christmas and I had other things to get anyway. Each time I was there the Staff were very friendly and helpful, I also did like the quality of the jumper.

River Island is my favourite place for trousers as they're the only place that I can ever manage to find my size, every other shop the trousers are either too tight, too big or too long. I also adore their accessories, especially their belts and hats. River Island is a strange place though, sometimes I go in and want absolutely everything and other times I can't find so much as a pair of socks that tickle my fancy. That's probably not a bad thing though as it's not the cheapest place and probably does my bank balance a lot of favours.

Their dresses are a favourite of mine, very well suited to the current fashion trends your bound to find somthing that suits. The shops in general aren't too big but offer a good range from casual to evening wear. Only downside would be that their clothes dont often last the pace, but for the amount you pay for high end fashion I dont think you can expect them to have longevity.

You will always see Lipsy dresses advertised in girls' magazines and a lot of the dresses are pretty much exact copies of designer dresses seen on celebrities. This branch of Lipsy opened up in November 2009 and is the only store in Glasgow apart from a small concession section they have in Argyle Street Topshop. Otherwise, you can buy their dresses online. I have always found their dresses to be very pretty and especially good for special occasions and formal dances etc. Sometimes it's a slippery slope between classy and trashy and the odd item here can look a bit tacky with too many diamantes and a whole load of glitter. On the whole though, it's a great little shop and if you're stuck for an outfit for something special then this place is worth a shout.

I'm afraid it was neither my style nor within my price range despite the fact it was second hand - or gently used as described on the shop front. I did get some strange looks from the woman behind the counter when I entered the shop too, so I get the impression I was not their targetted or desired customer - I think a classier, slightly older lady was expected, one who looks a bit more well-off too! It is all designer clothing, after all. Still, it's a very nicely set out shop - and all the stock couldn't look less second hand - beautifully treated. Maybe I'll come back when I get a proper career and a bit more cash to splash.

A lot of it even still has the tags on! You can tell that the owner of the store knows exactly what she is doing. She only selects the best of the best with nothing looking dated or "last season", think more classic and timeless, which is what you want when you're spending this kind of money. While you can definitely pick up a bargain at Isabella's Wardrobe it is a bargain relative to the items original cost. You can pick up a good as new Chloe bag for around £400 but you have to bear in mind that it would have originally been about £600-£800! This isn't a shop I can afford to buy from often but when I get my bonus this year I will definitely be popping in to buy myself to an extra special little treat!

Con's: The lighting in here is AWFUL ~ I don't know what they have/n't done but I think it makes the place look awfully sad and depressing... They don't stock any of their underwear or nightwear range ~ for a store this size that's a bit odd. The tills are usually woefully understaffed and you can be in a queue for quite some time on occasions. Although this is one of their bigger stores in Glasgow the variety/range isn't that great ~ it seems like its stuff that could fit in a much smaller store just spread out more. I don't really dislike this store; I would (and do) go back. I'd say it's more a 2.5 stars. I just feel with a space this size they could do SO much more with it...it's like they have the money to rent the unit but they've run out of money to do it up a bit. Shame. They should get Mary Portas in!

Looks a lot less cluttered and has a bigger range of products - including tall, inspire and mens. Its now an a par with the stores at Silverburn and Buchannan Street. Has a massive range of shoes and boots - I love them because pretty much any colour you want you can get and they soooo comfy! Always has a good stock, in fact it was pretty much the only place in Braehead we could find decent party dresses still in stock 2 weeks before christmas. Very affordable for whatever you are looking for and always keeps up with the latest trends.

I have lost so many nice bags due to it being bashed about at Uni but I have learnt my lesson and now it's Primark bags all the way! As with all Primark stores you have to queue for an absolute age before you get served, and if you're like me you'll pick up a few more pairs of socks or maybe even an umbrella on the way. A bit of sneaky impulse buy tactics there. This one is particularly busy and seeing as I'm a rather inpatient person I'll more often than not take one look at the queue and then walk straight back out again. In saying that, there's often a lot of staff on the tills, it's all hands on decks here! Even so, if you're in a rush then you'd probably best go elsewhere and avoid the wild bargain shoppers.

I've since noticed that there's a store in the St Enoch centre, and a quick look at their website told me that they have about 300 stores nationwide. Ah, silly me. Anyway, I was quite pleasantly surprised when I "discovered" this store at Braehead. Granted, some of their clothes are a little old ladyish, but they actually have some great value pieces. I was particularly excited by their knitwear pieces. They have a huge selection of colours and styles of knitwear, including big chunky cardigans as well as sparkly jumper dresses (which is a great thing in Scotland). Besides the knitwear, I'd probably steer clear of most of their other clothes. Yes, of course, there will always be exceptions - but in my limited experience of M&Co this is the rule I tend to stick to. The accessories are worth a look though!
