Maybe I've been living under a stone recently, but the store at the Braehead Shopping Centre is the first M&Co store that I came across. I've since noticed that there's a store in the St Enoch centre, and a quick look at their website told me that they have about 300 stores nationwide. Ah, silly me.
Anyway, I was quite pleasantly surprised when I "discovered" this store at Braehead. Granted, some of their clothes are a little old ladyish, but they actually have some great value pieces. I was particularly excited by their knitwear pieces. They have a huge selection of colours and styles of knitwear, including big chunky cardigans as well as sparkly jumper dresses (which is a great thing in Scotland).
Besides the knitwear, I'd probably steer clear of most of their other clothes. Yes, of course, there will always be exceptions - but in my limited experience of M&Co this is the rule I tend to stick to. The accessories are worth a look though! read more
