I know it's a fairly trendy chain store, and the prices have crept up over the years, but you could do a lot worse than Topshop.
The quality of the clothes are great - they last you for years. It may be pricey but if you're lucky enough to catch a mid season sale, the prices are slashed. And they do some rather saucy frilly knickers which rival La Senza in my opinion.
This Topshop is stretched out over two floors, with Topman, socks, knickers and special "London" ranges on the bottom floor. They have a larger shoe section than the other Topshop stores around Glasgow. They host ranges from Motel to Rare, and have a large selection of bags.
There's a quick turnover rate of fashions on the upper floor - they seem to change their displays every day! Which keeps it fresh I guess, although it's one of my bug bears about Topshop as a chain. They seem to have to change their clothing lines weekly in order to generate that kind of urgency to buy before it's gone (which works on me - dang!) But they keep the store looking fresh, even if it is to the formula.
What I like most of all about this Topshop are their amazing sales (which end up taking over the entire store) and the staff! There's a girl who works in here, really pretty with dark hair, and she's so chatty and helpful. What's more, she's been there for years and really know what she's doing. I sound like a creep saying that she is so memorable, it's just unusual for high street stores to have a slow turnover rate. And this girl is notably polite and very lovely when she's serving you. All the staff are, actually.
Just goes to show that Topshop are one of Birtain's most reputable high street chains. This should be one of their flagship stores if it isn't already, since the staff in here are so good at their job. A wee bit of retail therapy in this store brightens up the rainiest of afternoons! read more
