I always like a wee mooch about primark took some baseball boots back that did not fit to well and ended up buying a few things for my Daughter & I for Summer Not always the greatest of quality but for the prices they could be practically disposable clothes. read more

Good old Primark, I usually nip in here for black work socks, jammies and their huge shoulder bags, which come in all different colours and prints and at £6 I don't care when my Uni books eventually put a hole in the bottom. I have lost so many nice bags due to it being bashed about at Uni but I have learnt my lesson and now it's Primark bags all the way! As with all Primark stores you have to queue for an absolute age before you get served, and if you're like me you'll pick up a few more pairs of socks or maybe even an umbrella on the way. A bit of sneaky impulse buy tactics there. This one is particularly busy and seeing as I'm a rather inpatient person I'll more often than not take one look at the queue and then walk straight back out again. In saying that, there's often a lot of staff on the tills, it's all hands on decks here! Even so, if you're in a rush then you'd probably best go elsewhere and avoid the wild bargain shoppers. read more

I always find Primark to be a bit of a mixed bag, sometimes you'll get a real bargain, others you'll get exactly what you pay for when only spending £3 on a piece of clothing.... This store offers that Primark gamble on an epic scale. Occupying a huge space at the west end of the Braehead shopping centre, this a store you could genuinely get lost in (I always make sure I have my mobile handy in case I get separated from my companions!) There's everything you'd expect in such a huge Primark store, a huge selection of clothes in the Ladies, Gents and Children's sections as well as a variety of homewares. And although it's always a busy store it's relatively neat and thankfully not too much like a jumble sale, as some of their other locations can be, and the wait at the till isn't usually too long as there as two big banks of tills that are usually well staffed. If you're heading in to browse, make sure you have plenty of time as there's lots of acreage to cover. This isn't something I've really indulged in as the Primark sizes are far from generous and the bigger ones are often in short supply. If you're a 6 or and 8 though you'll definitely be in luck! I mostly frequently the store as it's a great place for basic pieces, I'm a big fan of their long-sleeved tshirts, cardigans and hoodies. All available in a variety of colours and at great prices. If you're lucky with the sizes it can also be a geeks paradise offering variety of comic book and media branded clothing. I've bought a couple of great Star Wars tshirts and a particularly awesome Batman one. They're all from the men's section though as women's ones available are always ridiculously small. So in the end, it's a great place for the odd bargain, particularly wardrobe basics, but you'll find an equal amount of stuff disappointingly tiny or of not great quality. read more

This Primark is alright. It is nowhere as near as big as the one at Argyle Street. It is about the size of the Sauchiehall Street one, which is quite small. The men's stock selection isn't really as good as the Argyle Street store. And the Argyle Street one isn't as good as my local one. There is only one floor and some of the ones I've visited have had 3, 4 or even 5 floors! Braehead as a whole just isn't my favourite shopping environment and I much prefer Silverburn. Anyway, it is a bright and clean store but the stock could be better. read more

Normally I would highly recommend such places due to the price of the clothes, but in Dec. during the week? No not unless you like people who only have two setting slow & not knowing where their going & getting in your way slow. Other than that the staff are good. Though getting to the tills is a bit of a maze to get to at times even more so in december. read more

This store is relatively small compared to it's sisters in the centre of Glasgow. Due to the fact that it's short on space this means that the Home Department is practically non existant. The store does however have a relatively good selection of Womens, Mens and Childrens clothing. Unfortunately, like the store in Sauchiehall Street it has a tendancy to be untidy and at busy periods you'll find yourself wading through scattered clothes on the floor. This stores saving grace is the fact that the staff are generally more helpful and friendly than in other stores. Once again though, the heat in the store is unbelievable and you'll have to shed at least three layers to be able to browse in comfort. read more

Good cheap place to buy almost anything in clothes for all the family, great , selection of shabby chic household accessories too. Great choice of holiday teashirts and sunglasses ect, this is a good cheap shop, but beware all you bargain yelpers, this shop has one downside, its checkouts are always full, so there is usually a bit of a wait. Good sized primark store. Lots of choice. Staff are friendly and helpful. prices are good and good quallity. Very busy shop at times. Probably best to visit early in the day if you wish to shop without the crowds. They have a lot of variety of items but like most Primark stores they can be a bit messy. read more
