Drama aside, Tinkerbell is yet another baby and kids wear store that specialises in the more expensive end of the spectrum. Stockists of designer makes and elaborate communion and Christening gowns, it is definitely a good place to visit if you need any of the latter. In saying that, the shop does stock a huge range of stuff, so it is quite unlikely you'll leave empty handed, as the stuff is just adorable. I bought my nephew a gorgeous pair of blue patent, really old fashioned baby booties which his mummy loved, for the not so expensive price of £13.00.

Our New arrival is due in June and my wife and I were fed up trekking into Glasgow to check out prams etc . This store has everything you need for a new born and the staff were so nice and friendly (making a change from some of the stores in town) . We ordered our complete bedroom furniture which thankfully was on special saving me over £400 which they are storing for me until i can get the nursery in order . my wife cant decide which pram yet (they have so many to choose from ) but we will be back at Matchsticks to get one from them .

Bubbles is Motherwell's leading store when it comes to christenings and communions, with all the fancy gowns stocked in here, at equally fancy prices. Clothes here don't come cheap, so be prepared to make a size able dent in the wallet! Brilliant for cute, designer kiddies wear for something special like a wedding or birthday.

I got some beautiful gifts for my twins but unfortunately by the time they got home from hospital…read more(they were premature), the clothes were too small. I called the store to ask if they would make an exception to the 28 day refund/exchange rule considering my circumstances. I explained that the twins were in hospital for 6 weeks and that by the time the gift was received, they were too small. I was told that they would not make an exception and I am now stuck with 2 sets of expensive clothes which I will never be able to use. I requested just a credit note and was not expecting a refund of any kind but again was told that they would not make an exception. Unfortunately, opening gifts, checking sizes and returning gifts was not a priority when my babies were in special care but apparently this is what I would have to have done in this case.

I entered this store today with items for an exchange, i approached a member of staff who was…read moredirectly in front of me, i explained in a very friendly manner that my friend had bought me some items for my hen doo which is tomorrow, but none of the items fit me properly (a denim type dress and a small top), i explained i had no receipt however the items still had tags on etc.. and i wasn't looking for a refund but, if possible could i exchange for another item?. the member of staff basically looked me up and down and told me in a very short manner that * no we don't do that here*. however i have exchanged items in the past without proof of purchase but with tags on. as i've had a very hard day mentally i didn't want to argue and instead said it was fine, i would look for something else and just pay for it on my own without an exchange. i took my pram around a part of the clothing to look at some items, when i noticed this member of staff following me, she then approached another member of staff and began speaking about me, clearly she thought she was whispering, but she wasn't doing a very good job of it.. as someone who has worked in retail on and off for the last 16 years or so i found this to be ridiculous, and also incredibly embarrassing, i immediately walked out the shop trying not to cry because it made me feel so terrible, and emotionally i don't think i could have handled the confrontation. i ended up going to another clothing store where i purchased something for my day tomorrow. i hope that in writing this it might mean a look at customer service in this particular store. the girl was about 5'4 with long dark hair and glasses. i'm not sure if i will return to that particular store to shop because i don't want to be judged for no reason.

They also have some boots and slippers for sale at the moment. The Layout is not great its quite cramped and sometimes you can't get past the puschairs. The prices are good but sometimes you pay for what you get. The queue can be really long and somtimes it feels understaffed.
