8.5 /10 first experience…read more I usually don't divulge to PNW folks that I'm from CA lol but for this review it has to be known. Anyway Mexican food up here in the PNW is trash. It's not authentic by any means. I feel like they just cater to the demographic. I was in BG area and actually had cash on me so I pulled over to give them a try. This is the first spot that I've found to even be on the radar with back home quality. 1) they lightly toasted the the tortilla. 2) the meat was cut on the bias, thin, tender and full of flavor!! If they let it crisp up just a little more it would be next level. 3) they used real avocado slices not that nasty premade spread that has vinegar to preserve the color. Overall my burrito was delicious and it was filled great, equal beans/rice/meat ratio. Ps i ordered it without lettuce. I will absolutely be coming back to try tacos and other items. Review for salsas: I tried one of each (habanero, red and green). My favorite was the verde. It's the most flavorful. I usually like hot, hot, but won't compromise flavor. I would stick to the verde no matter what I order. I like that there's grassy patches. While I was waiting I was able to let my dog stretch her legs until the buzzer went off. The lady in the food truck was helpful and told me they have habanero as an option.

Came in on a Saturday night right before they were to close. I was gonna get the taco plate for…read more$15.00 but they ran out of rice. So I decided to just get to pork carnitas tacos 3 for $10.00. I brought them home and tried them out.. I put some of the orange sauce they gave me on it and it was very runny with no taste to it. They out a lot of meat on the tacos and they don't taste too bad either. My only suggestion is to put some cumin on your pork so it does not taste so wild or porky tasting. Other than it was not too bad at all. Oh and the red hot sauce is really spicey and delicious so if you like spicy get that one. I wanna go back and try their breakfast burrito sometime.

Tried out the breakfast burrito again today. The last time I got one they did not have any made…read morepotatoes but this time they did. The burrito is huge and has tons a juicy pulled pork in it. I would say it easily weighs a pound. I munched on it on my way home. It was very tasty and hot temperature wise too. The first couple bites I got some potatoes and then mostly after that I got pulled pork. It would have been better if there was more eggs in the burrito but over all it was delicious. Oh, it's was ready within 5 mins of placing the order too. I think next time I got there I will get the biscuits and gravy again.

We tried the Cubano, the shiner burrito and brunch fries. The cubano is different than others I've had but it was still really good. The burrito was simple but the kalua pork they use was delicious. No one ingredient overpowered another which was ideal. The fries were my favorite. The soft pork, with the crispy pork and the melted cheese. So simple but so good. They were super nice and it was relatively quick considering they were pretty busy. My only struggle is that they are not open on the weekends and I could only go due to being off for the holiday. Overall I would definitely recommend if you're able to stop by.

Oh and it's stuffed with tons of pulled pork. The peppers were a good ingredient to add as well.

Came to this place because I am from KC and love bbq and also love to cook brisket myself. I also…read moreread a review that the brisket sandwich was pretty good here. I won't be coming back. The gentleman who runs the place is very friendly. I noticed the price for the special was $12.95 but then he told me it was $14.06 with tax. The sign that he has that states special of the day "brisket sandwich" $12.95 and does not state anything about plus tax at all. So that was a surprise. The other thing the sign does not say it comes with a small bag of lays chips either. I guess the chips he gives you is consolation for the fatty, salty, chewy, fatty small two pieces of brisket he puts on the sandwich. Plus who adds lettuce to a brisket sandwich anyways. I took two bites. The first bite was full of fat and tough chewy, salty brisket. The second bite the whole piece of fatty brisket came out from between the buns and the sandwich eating part for me was over. I left the bun, lettuce and pickles on the to go container and tried to choke down a bite or two of some of the salty, fatty, undercooked brisket that remained. To me, brisket should be tender and you should be able to gently bite into it and you get your bite. This was spongy and too tough to even bite into. Then, I went over to the taco truck and got a quesadilla because I was still hungry and their food was not much better either. Oh well not my day at the food carts in downtown Battleground Washington.

The meat was pretty tender and flavorful. Overall a yummy spot! I didnt get any sides but if in the area again would definitely want to try some of the beans or Mac and cheese.
