I ended up settling on the Chipotle Bacon Chicken one. Man....when I tell you that this was THE BEST quesadilla I've EVER had!!!(and I've had a lot!!) The crust was so light and buttery, yet soft to the bite. The guy gave me some ranch that had he had to have added something to, because it was a flavor I'd never had before. The blend of the bacon, chipotle, and chicken seasoning was so good.....I savored each bite! It also comes with a small serving of chips and salsa. I can only imagine what the rest of the quesadillas on the menu taste like....but with it only being about 7 mins away, I definitely plan on finding out! Rob mentions that a food truck was outside so I took a quick look at the truck. Dude, it was a Lao food truck! I absolutely love Laotian food, and full of bold flavors. Many of you are wondering, "Laos"? What the hell is that? Let me first educate you on the location of this wonderful and beautiful country called Laos. Open up Google maps and head over to Thailand and Vietnam, there you'll see Laos snuggled between them. If you are truly a food lover and not afraid of trying new things, then find this food truck and go get you some. Da, the head chef and owner, created a masterpiece with her papaya salad. I've eaten hundreds, if not thousands of such salads but this papaya salad was legit. The home made papaya sauce, with the heat and crunch of the papaya was so freakin good!!!!! It's so damn spicy and good, you'll want to slap your mama! I ordered the brisket, short ribs and papaya salad. Everything was out of this world. I could not believe the food was this good and I found it in Cypress. I didn't expect that quality of food out of a food truck and I have to say that it was better than the restaurants I've been to. They apparently move from location to location around the city, especially breweries. I can't wait to see them again as they make their rounds. They will be at Bearded Fox on Spring Cypress on the 27 of July, then back to Craft Beer Cellar on August 3rd. Come and try it for yourself, then let me know your thoughts. Happy eating!

I don't use Uber Eats very often, but it saved me on this day. The Lomo Bowl arrived about 40 minutes after I pressed the order button and it was just as hot and fresh as it would have been if I'd been dining it. I gobbled it all right up and was quite satisfied with my decision. I also ordered the 5 Leches Cake, and it was probably about 3 leches too many for this lactose intolerant fella, but I did enjoy the taste of it. Ideally, this would have been something I split with someone though - it's really rich. I will happily check out Mr Chicken in person next time and am glad this is not too far from us!
