It was the highlight of the day and probably the best of all the Caffeine Crawls that I have attended over the past 3 years. What puts Repetition into the top tier of coffee roasters in the area is their hands-on fair trade sourcing and their Righteous sense of community. Ms. Pope uses her skills from a former life as diplomat, her education in International trade and her passion for travel to scour the globe building relationships and partnering with coffee bean producers to find quality product and uplifting those on the farming end. The tale of her "Best of Colombia - #6" product is truly inspiring. The warehouse space that Repetition works out of is also sub-leased to other creative makers making the space a hotbed of artistic talent spawning pop-up events and small business incubation. You can find their products online, at the Lawrence Farmers Market and other retail outlets. I enjoy mine at Waterbird Coffee shop in downtown KCMO. A Righteous endeavor indeed!!

I sampled an Apple Pie Lotus - an iced apple spiced taste with Lotus extract added for a natural energy boost. The other standout was their Peanut Butter Mocha Frappe - pure frozen decadence. The mother and daughter owners and the 2 baristas were very engaging and oozing with customer service skills. For a coffee shop that offers single origin beans and freshly roasts their beans I was hoping for more. I ordered a simple honey cappuccino. They offer it in 12oz, 14oz and 20z. A cappuccino should only be served as a 6oz. When I asked to just have a 12oz with a lot less milk they could not comprehend. I changed my order to an iced 12oz honey latte. Also their 12oz is only served with one shot which is absurd so I had to add a shot. Lastly, the espresso was very bitter and tasted burnt, this is the barista technique. Overall, coffee was not good on the day I visited due to my espresso being burnt. Staff was nice.

When we pulled up I saw that it is the same place as Garden House and I believe this may be the section below inside the Garden House coffee shop. I had went to that section on my previous visit and it has nice seating and quiet and relaxing and had food and dessert options (non that were gluten free-I asked). The woman was nice that I spoke to and the latte I had was good but I bought it upstairs where the coffee was served.
