When we are in town this is the place for wings so good. People watching is the best too! They will make them as sweet or hot as you'd like. They have supper sweet fresh fruit lemonaides too

The food was quite tasty. The layers of flavor on the salmon bites was top tier. My daughter had the chicken wings. She absolutely loved the flavor. They have plant based options as well. They're located in the alley way on Venice beach. We found the location from the manager that was giving out samples to people as they walked by (great marketing). I will admit although it was very flavorful and tasty, I could not eat but a few salmon bites. The batter was just a little too much for me. Also, I'm not too into fried foods. I wish they also had options without the batter. Overall I would recommend this restaurant.

Everything was good and flavorful. They're pumping out great, fresh, quality food. Nevertheless, that koolaid drink or whatever it was was like DIABETES in a cup! What did they do, put the whole bag of sugar in that joint!. If you do get it make sure you cut it with cold water to stretch it out and share it with 10 other people. Overall check em out and give a go...you won't be disappointed!

Wangs N Thangs did NOT disappoint! I ordered a salmon quesadilla, cauliflower wings, and regular wings -- and yum. The quesadilla was on point, the cauliflower wings had me shook (I didn't expect to love them that much!), and the regular wings? Perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The service was fast and friendly -- no long waits, just good energy and great food. I'll definitely be back!

Customer Service was cool. The lady taking the order was real nice. The erythang sauce was a bit spicy but good, despite her telling me it wasn't spicy. So, they don't use standard party wings. They use CHICKEN WING PORTIONS which are pieces of wings. I dunno what these two round pieces of meat with bone are, BUT they are not standard wings.

Food is great, but hate the chairs outside. The chairs and tables are filthy, chairs are located outside but at least someone should at least wipe them. I ate here twice on my stay at Venice Beach area, the samples they give out is what really brings people to order especially since their food is seasoned well and tasty. I ate the chicken wangs and shrimp sandwhich, I asked for the salmon sandwich but I was so distracted at how high the girl who took my order that I ordered the wrong thang!

Cauliflower wings with spicy sauce. The sauce was amazing. I really enjoy the cauliflower wings definitely would get it again.

Solid wings-- could be crispier, flavorful, and cooked well. The cauliflower wings were just as good, decently crunchy and delicious. The frozen lemonade, however, was a bit too sweet for my taste, so I'd skip that next time. But after experiencing how much flavor and crispiness they deliver, I'm definitely coming back to try the onion flower! eat them fresh or else they'll lost their crispiness quick!

I've been craving lemon pepper wings crazy lately and I was hunting a location near the beach for some. Seemed to be a popular spot on the beach front walk. Sad to say they were sold out of lemon pepper, so I opted for the buffalo honey (6pc) and errthang (6pc) wings. The wings were beautifully sauced and perfectly cooked. They did stack them in because my partner and I felt like the amount was endless. Buffalo honey was quite spicy with a nice sweetness, I'm a huge buffalo fan so these hit the spot. I was pleasantly surprised by the errthang wings sauce. I asked the kind cashier what the most recommended flavor was since I mainly wanted lemon pepper. I'm extremely happy with taking her suggestion! Very balanced, sweet, savory, mild kick. They also gave me a sample of their frozen lemonade without asking, very thoughtful. I did realize many people were purchasing it, a little too sweet for my taste but I can see why it's popular. Seems like a family joint, the entire staff was very polite. Definitely looking forward to coming back to try their lemon pepper! Cashier also provided me a customer appreciation card that gives you a free item with your 6th purchase. Total with tip came out to $29.

Good food. But, as usual, far too often with our businesses, the service is seriously lacking. I literally write this as I sit in my 25th minute waiting on my food. I ordered a mushroom thing sandwich combo. I also ordered a shrimp thing sandwich combo with the potato skewers. They are giving me the food one item at a time. Never mind that my party we would like to eat together at the same time. That does not seem to interest them. I want to support us. But my money is green! In summary, the food is good, not great. Took a bit of time (20-30 minutes) to get my fried shrimp order, which I just had to get after tasting the free sample they were offering outside. Seems like a small mom and pop operation, and they might have also mixed up my order... However, it was all worth it, because the vibes are chill, the people are nice, and the fried shrimp SLAP ... We walked up to this lil spot and we were immediately greeted. We were indecisive about what to get but we decided on the 8 piece wing combo. We were given 2 samples of their lemonade and MAN it was sooo yummy! the owner was so nice and gave me their loyalty card. It's an outdoor seating and it was definitely a vibe. People were nice. We were given a sample of Honey Garlic Shrimp and everything wings. We ended up ordering the pound of Garlic Shrimp, Mac and cheese, and spiral potatoes with honey garlic. The Shrimp were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside and full of flavor. Mac and cheese has delicious flavor and a prefect side item with this. My wife ordered the spiraled potatoes and we both tried this and loved them. They were deliciously flavored with the honey garlic and crispy. It took no more than 10 mins for the food to be ready. First off I wish I had a photo of my food to post but it was too damn good and I finished it before I got to this point lol. Second all the employees here are beautiful and super helpful. I got the shrimp po boy Thang and it was fire. The slaw, the pickles the sauces and the cook on the shrimp were exceptional. Also and most importantly this is a BLACK OWNED BUSINESS. The food the vibes and the location are all 10 out of 5 stars. I'll be back for sure for sure. read more

Never ordered from here but they were walking around giving out samples. Super tasty. I kid you not I ate the entire wing sample and was wondering why the chicken was so chewy. I figured it was just a chicken tender or something. It wasn't until my last bite I realized it was cauliflower haha! I feel like that says a lot about the crunch and the flavor, which was great. The workers were kind too! I definitely recommend this spot for herbivores and omnivores alike! read more

The honey garlic cauliflower is good, the potatoe stick was also good but the wings were overpriced, small, and under cooked and at one point had to question if it was chicken cause they were so abnormally small compared to a normal wing. Me and my friend ended up throwing up after due to the wings, a waste of $50 bucks. read more

Iight so boom...I'm on a lovely afternoon beach date (riding bikes down the beach, talking, etc...) with my girl and we figure out..."hey let get some grub..." We had this idea to go to one of our favorite spots called "Burger She Wrote". On our way there...this overzealous gentleman redirected us with samples of chicken wings...we were hungry and said...iight coo...he gave us the sample and it was cool...I still wanted the burger spot so my lady ordered that and I went to support Wangs N thangs...so I ordered something super safe...a shrimp quesadilla....it was about $18...mind you...we ordered our food at the same time from the neighboring restaurants...so a good 15 mins past by...I seee the lady who took my order come out with hella samples...MEANWHILE...I'm like, where is my KSODEEYAH?!?! If I would have known my food would have took damn near 37 minutes 48 seconds to come out I would have just sat there and ate the samples...so I'm damn near getting hangry at this point and I walk up to the counter to see wassup with the food...another fella emerged from the back talking about.."shrimp take a little longer bro bro"...I'm like damn...is y'all catching the shrimp now or what....i say that to say this...the wait is very long with not a lot of people...THE FOOD WAS GOOD...the employees were nice...but yeah....thats it...I respect the craft but I feel like my time wasn't respecting for waiting damn near a hour for a quesadilla... read more

Very good! Super sauce! Got introed via a dude offering a free taste of the wings which were juicy and a little bit spicy, but smoky and just the right amount of bbq-y which got me and my goddess to head toward their storefront which can't be mistaken with all the R&B playing. Well, we decided on a chicken sando which was de-lish and the slush drink they have is super quenching as well. We will be back for more menu items! read more

THEY DEF KNOW WHAT THEY DOIN! tried the shrimp. Batter is insane! Doesn't even need sauce at all. The wings are finger lickin good (no literally). Then i tried the mushroom burger..... and it was a wrap from there. 15/10. I live all the way in Hollywood, but I have to be in Venice at least once a week to have this from now on. VIBES ARE AMAZING and it's black owned! Great family business. Super humble about it too. read more

To get things going, I ordered a Don Julio tequila neat, and the pour was generous. I also ordered a Caesar Salad with Blackened Shrimp, which was delivered after only about 5 minutes. Despite the swiftness of the prep, the salad was quite good. Baby Gem lettuce, nicely coated with a creamy-but-not-too-creamy dressing that had a robust, garlicky flavor that was pleasing rather than overpowering. Yes, there were the ubiquitous croutons; but there were also quite a few fried capers, which added an appealing, extra layer to the flavor profile. The Blackened Shrimp that I added were small but plentiful, and very nicely seasoned, providing a solid smack of spice that contrasted well against the dressing. It really was a very good salad. The gals to my right were eating freshly shucked oysters that looked quite good. They must have enjoyed them, because they ordered another dozen. Across from me, a body builder chowed down on a great-looking burger, and everyone at the bar seemed to really be enjoying their food. The servers -- Lily and Arian -- were swift and chatty despite being pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon. This isn't the fanciest place you can eat in the area, but it's certainly one of the friendliest, and definitely one of the most satisfying.

The truffle fries were okay, I thought the sauce that came with them did most of the heavy lifting, and the fries felt relatively plain without them. For reference I love buffalo wings. These wings looked delicious, and while they were cooked well, I found them extremely salty. I couldn't tell if it was the sauce, or if they used salt to try and dry out the wing skin. But ranch is a must to balance out the palette. They weren't the most crispy wing either, but hit the spot if you just wanted a few wings.

The restaurant shares a gated parking lot with REl, which kindly validates two hours. Inside the restaurant, the vibe was quiet with a music playlist going. I ordered the HiHo Burger and French Fries, which was ready for dine in about 10 minutes. HiHo burgers are grass-fed, grass-finished Wagyu burgers. The burger, though smaller than an In-N-Out Double-Double, was good with melted cheese, onions, and fresh lettuce. The cashier asked me if I wanted my burger with Side Matty Sauce, and so I did. The fries were fine, but in my honest opinion could be a larger serving. At $10.45, HiHo is in a higher price level than In-N-Out and Shakeshack, but of comparable quality of taste. Worth a visit, but not at the top of my list. Will give HiHo a solid 4 star rating.

Unfortunately, I had an off experience today, and I'm really only leaving this review to make sure an employee isn't unfairly blamed for something that wasn't his fault. When I placed my order, Terry (the manager) wasn't around. I ordered what I intended to be the Double HiHo Cheeseburger. Whether I misspoke or Yael misheard me, when my buzzer went off I was handed the Classic instead. I let Yael know, and he immediately apologized and said they'd take care of it. He told me to hang onto the original burger while they remade the correct one. I even mentioned that I'd give the extra burger to someone outside rather than let it go to waste. At that point, Terry overheard the conversation and stepped in. What should have been a simple reorder suddenly became much more complicated. He repeatedly explained that he was only charging me the small price difference for the upgraded burger, which was completely fine. What bothered me wasn't the charge. What bothered me was that Terry began correcting Yael loudly enough for customers to hear. He wasn't yelling, but it was clearly a public reprimand. From my perspective, Yael had done exactly what he was supposed to do. After I reordered with Terry, I reached for the original burger that Yael had already told me I could keep because of the mistake. Terry pulled it back and asked if I wanted it "in addition." I explained that Yael had already told me I could keep it since the order mistake wasn't my fault. Terry seemed visibly flustered and responded that, yes, that was usually the policy. That confirmed what I already thought: Yael hadn't done anything wrong. As a customer who comes here often, it was uncomfortable watching an employee be embarrassed in front of customers for simply following what appears to be company policy. If there was ever a coaching conversation to be had, it should have happened privately, not in front of guests. Honestly, I don't think there was anything to coach him on in the first place. This review is not meant to criticize Yael. It's actually the opposite. He was polite, owned the mistake immediately, communicated well, and handled the situation professionally. I hope he isn't reprimanded further because, from where I was standing, he did absolutely nothing wrong. The food was still good, as it usually is, although this visit didn't quite have the same feel as my previous ones. I'll definitely be back, but I wanted to speak up because employees who treat customers well deserve to be supported when they've done the right thing.
