When we are in town this is the place for wings so good. People watching is the best too! They will make them as sweet or hot as you'd like. They have supper sweet fresh fruit lemonaides too

The food was quite tasty. The layers of flavor on the salmon bites was top tier. My daughter had the chicken wings. She absolutely loved the flavor. They have plant based options as well. They're located in the alley way on Venice beach. We found the location from the manager that was giving out samples to people as they walked by (great marketing). I will admit although it was very flavorful and tasty, I could not eat but a few salmon bites. The batter was just a little too much for me. Also, I'm not too into fried foods. I wish they also had options without the batter. Overall I would recommend this restaurant.

The food was good! Service was top notch! I love the fact that they allow samples beforehand. I had the potatoes with the everything sauce, as well as the chicken sandwich.

Everything was good and flavorful. They're pumping out great, fresh, quality food. Nevertheless, that koolaid drink or whatever it was was like DIABETES in a cup! What did they do, put the whole bag of sugar in that joint!. If you do get it make sure you cut it with cold water to stretch it out and share it with 10 other people. Overall check em out and give a go...you won't be disappointed!

Wangs N Thangs did NOT disappoint! I ordered a salmon quesadilla, cauliflower wings, and regular wings -- and yum. The quesadilla was on point, the cauliflower wings had me shook (I didn't expect to love them that much!), and the regular wings? Perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The service was fast and friendly -- no long waits, just good energy and great food. I'll definitely be back!

Customer Service was cool. The lady taking the order was real nice. The erythang sauce was a bit spicy but good, despite her telling me it wasn't spicy. So, they don't use standard party wings. They use CHICKEN WING PORTIONS which are pieces of wings. I dunno what these two round pieces of meat with bone are, BUT they are not standard wings.

Food is great, but hate the chairs outside. The chairs and tables are filthy, chairs are located outside but at least someone should at least wipe them. I ate here twice on my stay at Venice Beach area, the samples they give out is what really brings people to order especially since their food is seasoned well and tasty. I ate the chicken wangs and shrimp sandwhich, I asked for the salmon sandwich but I was so distracted at how high the girl who took my order that I ordered the wrong thang!

Cauliflower wings with spicy sauce. The sauce was amazing. I really enjoy the cauliflower wings definitely would get it again.

Solid wings-- could be crispier, flavorful, and cooked well. The cauliflower wings were just as good, decently crunchy and delicious. The frozen lemonade, however, was a bit too sweet for my taste, so I'd skip that next time. But after experiencing how much flavor and crispiness they deliver, I'm definitely coming back to try the onion flower! eat them fresh or else they'll lost their crispiness quick!

I've been craving lemon pepper wings crazy lately and I was hunting a location near the beach for some. Seemed to be a popular spot on the beach front walk. Sad to say they were sold out of lemon pepper, so I opted for the buffalo honey (6pc) and errthang (6pc) wings. The wings were beautifully sauced and perfectly cooked. They did stack them in because my partner and I felt like the amount was endless. Buffalo honey was quite spicy with a nice sweetness, I'm a huge buffalo fan so these hit the spot. I was pleasantly surprised by the errthang wings sauce. I asked the kind cashier what the most recommended flavor was since I mainly wanted lemon pepper. I'm extremely happy with taking her suggestion! Very balanced, sweet, savory, mild kick. They also gave me a sample of their frozen lemonade without asking, very thoughtful. I did realize many people were purchasing it, a little too sweet for my taste but I can see why it's popular. Seems like a family joint, the entire staff was very polite. Definitely looking forward to coming back to try their lemon pepper! Cashier also provided me a customer appreciation card that gives you a free item with your 6th purchase. Total with tip came out to $29.

While the manager (or owner) was very nice and patient when explaining the menu to my grandmother, the bartender was incredibly rude. I stood right in front of her waiting to be served, and she completely ignored me until I spoke up. When I asked about the to-go Hurricanes, she struggled to describe what was essentially an adult Capri-Sun pouch. When I pointed toward a container to clarify, she snapped at me with attitude, "No, that's a wine glass," even though I wasn't pointing anywhere near it. To make matters worse, a single to-go drink is over $20--at that price, I'd rather just buy a whole bottle.

West of Orleans is the real deal; an institution that meets, excels, devastates all notions of what Cajun/Creole/BBQ cuisine can or should accomplish to stand out amongst the rest of the competition. And with how high they stand, all should recognize. With a menu as expansive as most, West of Orleans manages to offer their patrons all of the classics seen with most other restaurants of the same variety, but with so much more... But onto the food. It's true to its word. Fresh, delicate, light, harmonious in every sense of the word. Flavorful beyond flavor. The PoBoy was delicious, as the shrimp popped, the remoulade sauce incredible, tangy and sweet but not overpowering. The Jerk Chicken Mac-n-Cheese was the perfect pair between savory and succulence. Not too spicy, not too smoky, just enough of everything. The macaroni held up its half of the bargain as well. Currently planning my next experience here. Stay tuned.

From the moment you walk in, that amazing smell hits you like no other! Marcus, the owner, treated us like you're a regular, even on our first visit. Marcus was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited about the menu. And the food? Absolutely next level. Marcus gave us samples of the chicken gumbo and from the moment it touched my tongue, I was sold. I got a 32 ounce Gumbo and let me tell you, it was plenty. Everything was perfectly seasoned and packed full with some much pride and flavor. You could tell Marcus and his wife are passionate about their business and the product they're putting out. In addition to the chicken gumbo, I got the cornbread with the honey butter. Let me tell you something, I must've died and went to heaven. One of my friends' grandmothers made corn bread back in the day and this made me think of those times. The cornbread wasn't dry and the honey butter just amplified it to the next level. My friends got the brisket po'boys and they were blown away by the flavor. The sandwich was packed full of brisket and was seasoned to perfection. We will definitely be back for another round as this was the best meal we've had in a while. Thank you Marcus!

Even though we each got our own plates, we ended up sharing almost everything--and honestly, that's the best way to do it. The spread was incredible: red beans, fried catfish, gumbo, shrimp and crawfish pasta, and crab claws with shrimp. But the real star was the crawfish biscuit--literally chef's kiss, and one of the best things I've had in a long time! For my main, I ordered the shrimp in lobster sauce, which was fantastic. It has a splash of white wine that adds a lovely lightness to the sauce--perfect for me since I'm not a fan of heavy, tomato-forward dishes. We wrapped things up with dessert, and even the beignets were amazing--honestly better than that touristy spot in New Orleans! A huge shoutout to our waiter, Daniel. He's been there since day one and gave us 10/10 service--absolutely fantastic all around. It's easy to see why this place stays packed (and why you definitely need a reservation!). Apparently, quite a few celebrities drop in too--not that it matters when the food speaks for itself! If you're coming with a group, order as much as you can to share. You won't be disappointed.
